(( Uh, Taro... we're still standing there. O,o' 's far as I know... being that Manda and Alch have yet to reply.

D'you want me to edit my post so it's a little clearer? ))

((If you're going to edit your post you'd better to so before Alch and Manda reply, otherwise all of us will likely need to edit our posts.

I got the impression that you had sat down with Ubel and Mathiaz.))

From the back of the room, Blayk jiggled her leg anxiously. Couldn't class just start already, neh? Art was so boring... No movement, no action. Just graphite scratching on parchment, everything open-ended, all that beauty-in-the-eye-of-the-beholder crap. Something was either pretty or it wasn't. There couldn't be that much variety in other's opinions. Right? She thought of what Little Antigone had told her once. With so many people, there had to be different ways of thinking. Damn it... Squirming uncomfortable in her seat, the Choleric was determined to simply get through the class. This wasn't the time for deep, philosophical thoughts.

Cashimer found that it was always the time for philosophical thoughts. But, entering the room as quietly as possible, and praying that he wasn't being too forward by taking a seat behind and the left of Lior, he found that all he could think about was that this was his first class, his first step towards becoming a true Empyrean, a true being. He was fairly quivering with excitement.

Pulling her sketchbook from her bag she sat it down on her desk flipping it open. She pretty much remain quiet as she watch the groups form. Pulling her hair up into a messy bun so it wasn't in her way she just sat there for a moment watching it student. By studying them she was slowly learning something about them, this made her smile.

Pulling her quill from her bag she sat it down next to her chair as she push her glasses up. Watching Raelyn she couldn't help but smile, for a teacher she like her just because she seem very sweet. She could tell already she was going to enjoy this class most of all.

Raelyn wrenched her hands, wiggled her toes in her sandles and cleared her throat again. "Alright," she fairly squeaked with nervousness. "So, this is Art Class, and I'm Professora Raelyn...I've said that already." She took a deep breath and then clapped her hands together, as if trying to prevent them from shaking. "In this class, you can learn about the Spectrum, and it's effects on the emotions, mind and healing aspects of the body. But that's easy enough to pick out of a book in the Library. So, instead, if you don't mind, I'd rather talk about Golems." Raelyn peered at the class, waiting for their approval.

"Golems? What do they have to do with art, of all things?" Antigone vocalized, before realizing she was probably being entirely too forward. She clapped her hand over her mouth, before parting her fingers to offer the Professora a sheepish grin. "That is to say, I'd like to know what Golems have to do with art. I didn't mean to sound rude, Professora Raelyn."

Golems? Now this was something Blayk could wrap her mind around, and become interested in. Rummaging about in her linen-colored school bag, she produced a forest-green parchment book. Ink and quill were soon to follow.

Cashimer made a small sound of interest in his throat, and he tapped the tip of the feather of his quill against his lips, smiling with more charm than he would have given himself credit for. "Yes, Professora Raelyn. Let's talk about Golems, shall we?"

Yambati was a little disappointed that he hadn't gotten a chance to talk with Lior, but he pushed it out of his mind and sat down near the back of the classroom.

...

Golems?

Well, this might be more interesting than he originally thought.

Morrow blinked then tilted his head to the side. Golems? "What.. is the connection between art and golems, Professor?"

Mat blinked as Grave suddenly went stiff and still, apparently frozen. Ha paused, glancing from Torrid and Ubel to Grave and back. "..Grave? Are you ok?" he asked, not sure what had happened to make him look like that. His own plan had only been to go around to the other side of that same table or something, not completely ... away.

Grave shivered as his eyes regained focus. He thought he heard someone calling his name. He blinked and turned his head to find Mathiaz looking down at him in question. "What? Sorry... I..." Grave glanced around at the three of them and was more perplexed than ever at the strange emotion that had risen in him. It seemed to have subsided, but he still felt a distinct chill of unease at having some new part of him that he would need to unravel. For now, class was starting. Grave readied his quill and looked around to see if he'd missed any notes.

((Just the impression I got. I've edited my previous post a tad...))

Kallisto had been watching, perplexed by the rather hard edge that had seemed to settle around Grave. What was wrong with them sitting else where or here? She frowned slightly, trying to puzzle it out but as he seemed to come back to life she dismissed the thought. He looked fine now.

As a bit of a nudge in the right direction, Kallisto rose and sat at the far end of the table, so that there would be space for all of Grave's lovers to sit side by side. She smiled at Grave to show she wasn't moving away from him but rather including the others.

Turning to Raelyn, the question sparked her interest and she echoed the other questions, "What's a golem? Some sort of art style?" Kallisto really had no idea what they were as she hadn't actually looked into anythingof that nature.

Raelyn nodded and held up a long slender finger. "Golems have everything to do with art! They are the summation of Art skills. You will need to start with inspiration. Inspiration for Golems can come from any arcaine source. Extinct Monsters or beasts, like Dragons, Chimeras, Cockatrices, Dinosaurs or even the Dodo, Panda or Siberian Tiger work well. You can also take Golem Shards from mythical or extinct essences, like The Golden Fleece, Elixir of Life, The Black Plague, a cloudburst, or even from specific Stars or Constellations that have associated mythology." Raelyn smiled and waved her magic paint brush against the white board behind her, where a brilliant sketch of a Cockatrice inked itself in. "So, I'd like all of you, just for practise to design your Golem in this class. Select the Golem Shard you'd like to build. You can select one from the Golem Lists, which are here..." Raelyn made a graceful sweep with her brush and a long list of of Golem Shards etched themselves in to the left of the Cockatrice drawing.

Mat blinked, not quiiiiiite sure he was getting what they were supposed to do here. He glanced over at Grave, and then back to Raelyn. "So ... we're supposed to be picking something off that list that we wanna make something ... based on it?" he murmured, not really asking the question to anyone in particular. This sounded interesting, at least. Not like reading some book or memorizing things. He liked the idea of making something, he just wasn't sure how to get started.

Yalitza arch a brow slightly as she look over the list. So she had to pick a Golems from the list a draw it how she wanted it to look. Biting alittle at her bottom lip she tap the desk lightly slightly unsure as to which one she would pick.

This seem fun, she was able to control how she wanted things to look. Only problem was she just wasn't sure where to begin.

"This is only limited to our imagination correct? We could take this from... any source really?" He stood up to peer at the list.
