*Shortstraw chukkled* "Of course he did." He smiled and looked to asher with a smerk, "Thanks for your help Asher." He patted her head and smiled, "But i'm pooped. To bed with me!" He replied heading up the stairs to get dressed and get into the bed.*

Before Kiera went to bed, she stayed in the kitchen for about ten minutes. God knows what she was doing in there, but Mai ran circles around her feet as she walked up that stairs tiredly. As she walked into the bedroom she looked to see if Shortstraw was awake before she took down her hair and took off her boots and clothing. It had been an eventful few days, to say the least. But even that wouldn't block out the impure thoughts.

*Shortstraw laid there with his eyes closed however he wasn't asleep just yet. More or less he was basicly relaxing. "You know i thought our trip would have been more... adventurious." He chukkled, "Though we looked cool i'm sure. And i got to show them i'm not the same little kid they obviously thought i was before." He gave a nod, "But i rather not have to think about all the demon stuff. It messes with my head. Way I see it, the demons sould come to me, and then as They find more i'll get involved." He laughed trying to be cool for a moment.

Kiera chuckled darkly at him as she crawled under the covers. "Maybe if you grew a little taller then maybe the other Demon hunters and me could take you more seriously." She was joking of course, but just to prove it, she hugged him. "But then you wouldn't be my Shortstraw." She smiled. Honestly, a few years ago, she could have never seen herself in this position. But things where how they were now. And she had plans. "Did you Know that it was actually the scarfman who I originally called Shortstraw? I just remembered that. It was supposed to be an insult to mean that he was unlucky to be my enemy. When i met you i supposed you were going to be unlucky to be near me too."

*Shortstraw looked to her* "Really? No I didn't know that. All i know about that man was the details i got formt he other villagers. No one has really said much about when you and him faced off." He chukkled, "But givin the sercumstances that was the reasion i met you in the first place i guess the name sticks." He laughed. "When you gave me the name it made me feel like i mattered to be honist. I mean, i had a nickname all of a sudden. Course I decided to make it my real name when i relizied i never liked my old one. Infact i don't even remember it now." He laughed, "But i'm still more then glad i got this far with you. I mean everything so far has been up and down as we ride, goods, bads, but still we ended up really close. I mean back then i just wanted to be helpful to you. But i never thought i would have a chance to be with you with you." He chukkled admittiliy

She chuckled to herself quietly as she thought. "And in all the time i've spent planning my life, i'd have never of predicted this point. You were just an unfortunate kid to me when I met you-" She snuggled into him. "But now of course you're not just that. Back then i was distant from everyone anyway." She yawned and shut her eyes. "I keep thinking that you should have a proper name, but i like Shortstraw too." She snickered. "Suits you."

*He chukkled* "In more ways then one." And like that it was surly a quiet night. However in the morning things where going to again, be difficult. Shortstraw had to go to town for a simple hour or so to get some new things. However he left on his own... and hours later it was starting to get dark, the sun was setting, and he never returned. Surly someone in the house was worried...*

That person wasn't Kiera. She was napping in the living room, sitting on the couch with Mai on her lap. The actual person that was worried was Asher, and maybe Cyril. If Kiera was awake then maybe she would have been. Asher paced on the kitchen table, and Cyril had offered to make dinner again. "He should've been back by now." Cyril shrugged. "I wouldn't be so worried about 'im. If thar' was any trouble he can handle 'imself just fine." Asher sat down although her tail flicked from side to side rapidly. "He would've been back by now." She sighed. "Should we wake Kiera?" Cyril laughed a little. "All hell'd break loose."

As it were, another hour passed. Not one sign of him at all. Infact he wasn't anywheres near them. He only wen tout to get some more paper, a new pen. It would have taken him like twenty minets tops.*

Cyril had dinner and gave Mai some scraps. Even the dog woke up before Kiera. Asher was even more worried now. "I vote we wake Kiera up." Cyril scratched the back of his neck, unsure. "Really? The kid could've jus' got caught up wit' something." Asher shook her head. "And took this long?" Cyril eventually gave up and sighed, exasperated. "Fine. Go wake 'er up." Asher looked stunned. "Me? You go wake her up." Cyril shook his head. "Uh-uh. She'd skin me alive." Asher sighed, eventually, getting up and walking out of the room and into the living room. "Fine. I'll do it." Cyril followed to watch, however, as Asher jumped up onto Kiera's lap and started pawing her face. Kiera twitched, but not much more. "Scratch 'er." Asher pulled a face. "Are you crazy?" "Jus' do it!" Asher did as Cyril asked, and scratched Kiera's cheek. Of course, Kiera woke up. And as she did, held Asher to the floor instinctively. When she noticed who it was she was holding, she stood up and straightened her clothing. "Ah, Christ." She felt her cheek. "You didn't have to cut me. What the hell is this?" She looked to Cyril angrily. Cyril looked to Asher. "Your boy ain't come back."

*It was true, if she tried to feel his aura, it seemed gone. It also seemed there wheren't any noticable traces she could notice this far away. Something did infact happen to shortstraw. Question was, was it too late?

Kiera licked her teeth. "How long have I been asleep?" Cyril yawned a little. "Several hours." Kiera's face contorted even more angrily. "And you never thought to wake me up in all this time?!" Asher took a few steps back. "We thought you'd be angry." Kiera shook her head and stormed out of the room and ran up the stairs. "Yeah?! Well i'm angry now!" She grabbed her coat out of the bedroom, then ran back down the stairs, two at a time. Asher met her at the bottom. "Where are you gonna look for him?" Kiera shoved Asher aside as she flung the door open. "I don't know. Anywhere. Everywhere." Asher followed after her, concerned. "Why are you being so serious about this? It could be nothing." Kiera stopped and gave her a serious look. "I can't feel his aura. It could be something." She continued out of the marshes, Asher following her closely behind. Once she reached town, she firstly looked to the stores he would have went to. Logically. She wasn't sure. And she was worried as hell.

*Soflora was walking down on of the roads when she saw the cat and shortstraws friend. She waved happily "hello!" She got up closer and put her hands on her hips, "Are you looking for shortstraw? I saw him alittle while ago heading off that way..." she pointed the direction to the lake, "He was following some women, infact there were like three other guys there too. And he seemed to be in thought or somthing. I mean he was carring some stuff, but he didn't even say hey to me back." She replied dissapointed as she shrugged, "i thought maybe he was just to buisy." She nodded.

Kiera scratched the back of her neck furiously, trying to find a way to exert her anger. Because if she let it off as heat at the moment, the path would turn into a liquid under her feet. "Over by the lake?" She looked in the direction. And following a woman? This couldn't end well. She wouldn't accept that this was willed. Not until she saw it for herself. She patted Soflora's head and went in the direction she pointed. "Thanks!" Although now she was determined. At least now she had an idea of where he was, and had a trail. Before it seemed a bit hopeless. She just wished he was all right. It wasn't long before she approached the lake. Asher still followed.

*There infront of the lake was a women, with shortstraw in her lap, and two ther men on the ground looking more like the life had been sucked out of them. Shortstraw however was more or less feeling this women, she seemed to be smerking as she fiddled with her long nails. Shortstraws eye however weren't right at all. This women was clearly a suscubus, for her breast were extreamly large, her shape perfict to draw in men. Surly though what shorstraw was doing wasnt right...*
