That seemed to be the cue he needed. This wasn't going to end without Absol going down, and Brach's foot was dug in to the road before he realized it. His eyes showed determination and his footwork still had plenty of spring to it. Maybe he'd underestimated his legs, or maybe it was the sight of thunder wave washing over everyone.... whatever the reason, Brach's fighting stance made it clear he was entering this battle himself!
The first thing that caught his attention was the pokemon already wrapped around Absol. His eyepiece reconfigured to only highlight Absol, as if he was locked on automatically. Leading the attack with his left jab and a very fast step inward, he knew his quick attack get there before anything else happened.
Crunch. A successful hit. The Absol may not have known what danger it was supposed to watch out for, but it didn't see that coming. Still a bit disabled from the shock, it couldn't really make a move.... but then again, it didn't seem like the Dratini was able to either. But.... it's an Absol, a type Keeta could easily befriend if she merely spent some time with.... why not just catch it and give it to her afterwards? And what's with quick attacks being such a useful tool to wear down pokemon these days? Bah, a question that could be answered after he's thrown his pokeball and attempted to catch this sucker.

she was kinda teary eyed after hearing him say that when they walked outside, she didnt like him talking like that it was very rude but there was nothing she could do about it so she put on a smile for Etheria and then asked her some questions "so Etheria tell me a bit about yourself please?" then Ailish heard Ya's question and answered "why that is latios and latias" she had said

As the Pokeball fell to the ground, the Dratini fell in a heap around it. The battle seemed like it should have been over, but it wasn't. Now the Dragon Pokemon stood itself upright in the street, head facing straight at Mr. Speicher. Not knowing who this person was and having its trainer hurt and laying in the sidewalk, Dratini was quick to defend the little girl. It began to spark again ready to set out another Thunder Wave, aiming now at the man who was still separated from his Pokeball and Daughter.Tesugare Ryuu Did Sol wake up yet? Etheria smiled to the girl and boy, "Well, eldest of two children. Younger brother is blind, Father is always travelling...my Mother died when my brother was born."
She smiled even though she said something depressing, to her the fact that her mother died in childbirth was just her mother being herself. As her mother always said "A Mother's deepest wish is to give life to their child..."

Brach gasped. The last thing he'd expect is the pokemon Keeta's controlling to go after him. Grimacing, he tossed up his pokeball letting his Ralts out. "Sodo, you've only got one chance at this..."
But before he could give the order, thunder wave caught up with the Ralts. Paralysis was never a fun status effect, and his Ralts certainly didn't like being thrown into battle so soon, but he could definitely tell the trainer cared about the girl lying in between them. He sensed some confusion but more importantly.. a deep caring for the girl? "Ra-ralts?" he queried, but to any pokemon it might have sounded like "That's your daughter?"
Brach hoped it was trying to negotiate for him as that was the only thing that could save him from having to fight more than he already did. He was already overdoing it and who knows who saw the battle. He'll likely get some fanatic blabbing to him about how rough he is with pokemon and it's just another apologetics headache he didn't need.

Etheria hugged the girl back before looking over at Yami, "And to answer your question further, Yami...Latias and Latios are the Eon Pokemon, most would consider them twins of sorts. Latias is female, while Latios is male. Its said that the two are among the fastest of the Pokemon, they are listed as Dragon and Psychic type. So, needless to say they're both intelligent and most likely rational minded Pokemon who are perfectly capable of Human interaction...a special ability that they are rumoured to have is invisibility as its said that the downy feathers which coats them can reflect light."
The elder woman smiled gently at the two youths...

The Pokemon had stopped hearing the opponent mention something about the girl being the man's daughter, but it quickly felt a shock to its own body as it cried out. suddenly the Dratini itself was paralyzed too and it fell to the ground with the rest, unable to move.(( Gotta love Ralts' Synchronize ability heart )) ♂ lv.7 ♀ lv.6

Brach looked relieved that all the pokemon were now resting and no longer standing in the way. "Okay Sodo, return..." he recalled his own Ralts and rushed over to his daughter. Not stopping for much, he attempted to help her get her bearings straight, though she might be out. Hopefully he can get her awake and have her recall her pokemon, or at the least get them to follow back to the inn so they could rest. He picked her up in his arms looking rather concerned.

The little girl was definitely out, though appeared like nothing was life threatening. She had merely been shocked hard enough to be knocked out from the paralysis. She as a child rather than a seasoned trainer after all.
Her team didn't seem like they had any fight left in them either. The Pokeballs were likely not too far off. She probably threw them in her pockets like the unorganized little mess maker she tended to be. It didn't look like the two Pokemon still out would be fighting against an order of retreat at this point.♂ lv.7 ♀ lv.6
