Riku had been walking along with her partner when she was sinking into the sand and then sucked into the Whirlwind. Surprisingly she found herself swirling around and kept in the air unable to escape. It was something that she needed to be scared about but also laugh at the same time. It was a really fun experience while it lasted. The whirlwind carried her far from her partner and dropped her with a plop onto the ground. Wincing slightly since she did have a broken leg, she stood up supported by her crutches. Luckily she had recalled her Larvitar when she had started sinking and was relieved that he was alright. She had also keep a tight hold on her crutches so that she would still have them. Releasing Ryuu beside of her, the girl did feel slightly safer with her Larvitar beside of her.
As she glanced around, her violet eyes widened in surprise. Despite the fact that it was night time and that it was freezing instead of burning hot like during the day, she was back in the desert once more. A smile crossed her face as this is exactly where she wanted to be. It was surely the right path that would lead her back towards the chrono stone. This time there would be no mistakes and she would be successful. Giving her Larvitar a pat on the head, she began to start moving forward.

With the pokemon's eyes diverted from his goal and objective he would almost never see it coming. That small orb that flew up higher than the Onix ...as his eyes went wide as it struck him. Bouncing to the right ...as the bird continued to sail in disbelief. He was about to be captured, but how had this happen.
Where had that come from?
His eyes would finally fall upon the boy below. The one that stood behind the Onix, and haven't uttered a single command the entire fight.
The Skarmory had completely forgotten his presences as he disappeared within. The ball bouncing away ....as it rattles dangerously in the air ...as it would spiral towards the ground. Though, while the capture itself would be completed in the air ..the retrieve hadn't been well thought out as the pokeball sailed through the vast space beyond the side of the ledge and the empty space that lead into the darkness further down the crater.
Disappearing from sight, the pokeball would seem to be lost .....as the capture even though successful would require a bit more work in the retrieval.
((Raven captures an Skarmory .....sorta? (Post to find the pokeball 3)

((Well...this is coincidentally good timing for both of us to get really high rolls...))
(20 - 2) + (11 - 9) = 20 /2 (resistance) = 10 DMG
Aerodactyl-S HP: 8
[Aerodactyl-S FLINCHED!]
Adjusting to devour the Emolga first, the Aerodactyl's jaws would snap down upon nothing but air. In the next second as Aella flew over the ancient Pokemon's body and unleashed her attack, the Aeodactyl would let out an agonizing screech, louder then the ones before it.
The yellow orbs in it's sockets fading for a moment, the creature slumped and fell forward. There was no blood from the wound, but rather wisping shadow pulling away from it's body like pieces of flayed cloth. Even as the beast began to rise again, it's flesh began to pull back together, knitting the gash closed. They could never truly wound this creature, and so they could never truly kill it; but if the screech from earlier was an indication, at least they could hurt it.
Growling, the Aerodactyl turned to face Aella, beginning to move forward with the intent of striking out at the little rodent...but abruptly slumped. The wound had not finished closing just yet, and it seemed to be near something important.
Their opponent had Flinched, giving the Emolga full chance to strike again.

The desert seemed a little bit more empty then it had been during the day. First she had ran into a Sandshrew, then a Growlithe and it hadn't been with too much time in between the two. Surprised, she thought maybe the change in weather kept everyone burrowed up. Pausing to zip her jacket up, the girl continued onward. She was worried about Ryuu for a moment but he seemed to be alright so she didn't recall him into his pokeball. Regardless of how cold it was, she preferred it over the blazing heat during the day. At least if she kept moving, she would be okay.

((Just for the sake of sanity we round those sort of things to a 1))
The Sunkern would managed only a weak attack, which started to brew above his head. If this Growlithe was hoping to make this easy than he had another problem coming ....as he saw that maw open wide again, and this time aimed for the inside. Maybe, his outside was resistant to his attack, but inside there was no such thing as he literally sent the orb of energy coursing towards the pokemon's throat.
As he tries to make the Growlithe eat his attack.

((...this is payback for the Aerodactyl isn't it?))Normally a quiet, composed figure, Raven could only stare on in disbelief as the ball sailed over the edge. His jaw had gone slack. He...he hadn't seen that coming. Well...um...damn.
Before he fully understood what he was doing, Raven darted forward "AFTER IT!" He called to Genn, even as he began running up the back of the Onix. He couldn't go safely sailing of the side of a cliff; but the Onix had means to scale down it.
">CHASE SCENE!<" The Onix rumbled mirthfully. It wasn't a battle, and he was still disappointed about the fight ending, but at least this was interesting!!!
Without a thought towards the absurdity of the child's command, Genn plunged off the side of the pathway, rocky form sliding down the crater wall. It was unlikely someone had ever surfed an Onix before!

Though maybe that was the creature's biggest mistake ...before it had been unstopped about, uncontrollable, and something that was beyond her ability to deal with. Though that stopped the moment that she saw the flesh knitting itself back together it was rejuvenating ...something that still made her shiver, because she couldn't place what was causing that ...as Aella floating higher in the air circles from avoid.
Victoria whom should have been completely useless starts to stutter.
"A-a-aim for the wound ...again. T-t-test to see ho-how far we can split the parts...before..before..it can....no ...no ...longer...put itself together again."
She was trying her hardest not to run out on her pokemon as Aella heard her words and smirked. That was her trainer ...as she dropped her altitude slightly and aimed another slash of pure wind at the back of the pokemon's head. Still pose to split the skull from the otherside towards that mending piece of it's mouth.
She was going to literally rip him apart if this was successful.

[[ Ah, should have figured. Took away the -1 then, thanks! Never got .5 XD ]]
( 6 - 4 ) + ( 8 - 6 ) = 4DMG
Sunkern HP: 9
Impromptu moved to the side, letting the absorb pass his side as he bit down on the Sunkern. It was...soft! Like a Squeaky! :O the Surnkern was a Squeaky, yes, that made sense! But...why wouldn't it squeak? He shook his head from side to side, jaws clenched down on the Sunkern as he tried to make it squeak.
It...it must be broken! No! He shook his head around even harder, growling playfully. No, he could fix it! He lowered his head, snapping it up quickly and throwing the Sunkern into the air. As he went airborne, if the Sunkern bothered to turn around he'd see a painful array of pointed teeth waiting to catch him when he came back down to the earth. Ah, maybe getting out of the way would be a good idea?

((Very much so .... twisted ))
The pokeball tumbled downwards as the two followed it into the darkness as it lands between the split of a single branch that seemed to have grown on the side of the crater. A branch that couldn't possible support their weight ...as another pokemon lay clutching it ...a sneasel pup that must have wondered too far from home and gotten stuck on that same branch as she looks with wide eyes at the incoming Onix.
Fear welled up in her eyes as she used the only move she thought would save her right then and there as she formed it between her claws ...a Whirlpool. This was about to get very interesting ....as it grew and grew, and the pokemon rose it above her head.
(To avoid this attack, you need to out roll the pokemon)

This time however the Aerodactyl was ready for the attack, as the slicing winds seemed to simply pass through the Pokemon's body, striking harmlessly at the ground beneath it. The visible wound had finished repairing itself, and the Aerodactyl moved. The damage had been done, but that didn't mean the child or her rat had to know about it.
Smacking it's claws against the ground, the ancient Pokemon let out an ear splitting screech. Slowly at first, the Aerodactyl began to beat it's wings. Several times it flapped, then as it kicked off the ground, the Pokemon beat it's limbs harder, at last rising into the air.
The beasts tail lashed as it rose higher into the air, leveling out once it had gained enough height. Again the Aerodactyl loosed a deafening screech, jaws open wide. Immediately after it began to plummet toward Aella. This time it would not miss, the electric squirrel would be snapped up between it's jaws!

(+1 to Impromptu's defensive rolls)
The counter attack would work as the Sunkern was hurt by the attack. Throwing into the air, he would see it coming but there wasn't much he could do about it. He twirls head over head ...as his leaves would gather the sun light once more ...as he tries to make the light on his head glow enough to force the pokemon to look away. To force, the growlithe to turn his head and perhaps allow him to slip away without much injury ...considering how close they were ...he doubt he would get away without any.
no, he wasn't going to go down. He had to win, afterall, he couldn't stand that look in their eyes. He was an easy kill ...no he wasn't an easy kill, and he would make them realize that.

It was a fight between a pokemon of true flight and one that could only simulate it ...as Aella saw the tell-tale signs. She had missed her mark ...as she open her arms wide trying to catch the nearest breeze. She was trying to catch anything that would help her to float away from that attack as she saw those rows upon rows of sharp teeth come at her. The Aerodactyle ...ghost? was now airborne, and that meant that there this fight was about to turn into a dog fight.
IN the past, this was a pokemon that was the terror of the skies and even now ...Aella knew that terror hadn't lessen even with time. Her own strike that would have fallen any other pokemon could only slice so deep ....as she tries to move herself out of the way.

((Fair enough I suppose.))
((Remember kids. This is what happens when two mods control the fate of one-another's character.))"Go left...I'm going up" Raven said, standing near enough to Genn's head now that he'd be heard above the noise caused by their descent. Without explaining any further, Raven dashed forward along the Onix's head, diving off the Pokemon's head and plummeting straight toward the Whirlpool. His plan was a simple one. Just like a Twister, a Whirlpool had an Eye. A zone he'd be able to pass through safely if he had timed his jump right.
Falling toward the branch, Raven held out a hand to snag the Pokeball, the other reached out toward the Sneasel. He had no aspirations of winning the creatures favor, nor even getting it out of their unscathed, but the strong saved the weak when they couldn't save themselves. It wasn't a strength of the body, or of will, but the heart...one he admittedly, had yet to fully understand.
Completely oblivious to his trainers inner thoughts, the Onix let out a joyful scream as he barrel rolled to the side ">WUUUUUUUWHHOOOOOOOO!<"
Now that was a rush! First of all he was plummeting down the of a crater at who knew what kind of speed, and now he was heading straight toward a rush of water that had no right to be there! Best of all, after they passed through he'd actually have to catch Raven mid-air! Most would find the entire endeavor insane; but Genn could describe it with only one word...awesome.
