Laughing slightly as Aurora wouldn't let go of her hands, Vera had to work around Greator's own wings beating. "It's okay to let go...you can hang on to one of Greator's neck spikes, or if you really felt daring, lean down to hold on to his wing bones..." Smiling at the siren, Vera gently released her hands from the other woman's grip. Distracted for a moment, the half elf's feet tapped the back of Greator, who whipped his head around and surprise to give her a grating comment in Dragon. "Oh frip... I need to let go, but relax...And Baihu's around too..." Looking concerned, Vera looked back to where she had "felt" fire, and made a wheeling turn to approach what looked like a giant multi-colored wolf on the ground. Landing a few yards away, the half elf let her wings disappear as they folded, and stared solemnly at the being. "Yes, you have been watching for a while...what is it you may want?" she asked politely.

the beast turns his head towards the half elf and only nod's in regards to her presence though it would appear he seeks nothing, as something strange can be felt as if a type of energy or aura though it is nether, he turns his head away as he just seems to gaze into the distance as if watching something once again, what ever he appears to be he would appear to be unique in some way yet distant though he looks to be of a passive nature...

Not seeming perturbed by his lack of answer, Vera one more nod in a sort of not-quite-bow, before turning and letting her wings out again. "People don't generally like getting stared at..." she stated with a smile, gesturing to the others as she jumped from the ground with a small air boost, and soon joined the others back in the air.

his eye moves to look in her direction "so it would seem" he speaks as he watched her take off, it was as if he was staring but to him, it was the Fate-Weaves of another he was watching as he could see them...

Baihu started to float by Vera as she came back into the air. He didn't know that he was almost directly in her way and when she passed by he was surprised and grabbed her. He released his powers and started to fall. The first thing that came to his mind was to protect Vera and the second was to use his powers. Before he thought of his powers he placed the young woman on top of himself to protect her as they fall then after remembering his gifts he floated on a ball off air with the girl on top. "Are you okay. You scared me." He commented.

Vera twisted to pass Baihu, but he caught her. Wings tangling in his hair and clothes as his grab made her turn in midair, Vera was pressed against his chest and had a moment of fear as she felt their weight go weightless, and then fall. Taking her wings back in, Vera turned so they were chest to chest, and blinked at Baihu with wide eyes and raised eyebrows. "I was...and you startled me too!" Chuckling, there was a note of uneasiness as the start that soon left Vera's voice, before she relaxed as they rose again. She had been ready to grow a bush or something to catch them, but of course Baihu twisted the air around and they were...on a ball apparently. Holding her hand below them, now sort of sitting in Baihu's lap, Vera could feel the air currents and smiled. "Ever have an air circus?" the half elf wondered, tone speculative as she thought of a few different ways Baihu could help her train and practice...if he didn't think it too dangerous for her.

Baihu's hand placed itself on her butt. He was mostly making sure that she didn't fall. He leaned his head back in thought. "I may have been part of a circus at one time." He couldn't remember. He was so old that he had gone through many jobs. He brought an arm around Vera's legs and moved so he was standing position with his fiancee in his arms.

Vera tensed and pulled her body out of the way a bit when she felt pressure against her rear, and held that slightly arched pose for a moment, bright red. Even the tips of her ears were pink. She spluttered for a moment, before clearing her throat and moving her head enough to raise an eyebrow...and bright pink cheek...to Baihu. "Um, is that, really...necessary?" she asked, not releasing her tension any.

Baihu looked at her. She was still in his arms and maybe she didn't like to be rescued. "I didn't want you to fall." He told her. His arm moved more towards her back so it was a little easier to hold her. "Besides I want to be your personal knight-in-shinning armor." He answered her as he stood in the air.

Vera raised her eyebrows and opened her mouth. "Ah...well, you should know the history between dragons and knights..." she mellowed a bit to tease Baihu. "But I think I can make an exception for you." Smiling, now that Vera understood his intent she loosened again, and Vera moved until she was in the bridal carry. "Isn't this how they're carried, the better to incapacitate their knights with their grips and leg-flailing?" Vera laughed, since she never liked watching romances for that reason; the girls were always being carried around screaming for their loves to rescue them...while gripping them in such a way the guys COULDN'T move without HURTING the woman they were trying to protect. As she spoke Vera wrapped her arms limply around Baihu's neck with an amused smirk on her lips and laughter in her eyes. "Something I don't think I will EVER understand, no matter HOW long I may live," she chuckled.

Baihu smiled. "Well think of the history between Dragons and Tigers". He pointed out another enemy of dragons. The man listened as his maiden talked then let out a chuckle. "Normal men can't do anything without a wand or sword. I however just think and the wind does what I say." The man pointed out to the young woman. The man looked down at a tree that was in bloom. A small branch broke off and flew into Vera's hands. It was in full bloom too.

Vera just shook her head; she didn't know of tigers being enemies, but still understood Baihu was referring to himself and her father, air and earth the opposing elements of their being and control. Wincing at the sound of the breaking wood, Vera willed a piece of her energy to help heal the wound, and smiled wanly at Baihu as he offered her the small slim piece of wood. "I think making sure the tree doesn't suffer too much would be better than my enjoyment of its blooms..." she chided Baihu gently, laying the wood on her lap; she wasn't rejecting it but she wasn't showing her appreciation for the flowers either. Nodding towards him as she realized her words were a bit too harsh, Vera took a sniff and gave an honest smile at the scent of the apple blossoms. "I still enjoy them... I just hate feeling that the tree losing its branch is like someone losing an arm..." Looking at the size he had taken, Vera changed her statement. "Well, a finger or at least a digit..." Smiling ironically up at Baihu, Vera let her head rest on his shoulder as she stared pensively at the branch, twirling it between her forefinger and thumb, her other wrist still loose behind Baihu's neck and that shoulder against his torso.

Baihu understood what she was thinking. She thought it was best to leave nature be. It still didn't hurt any less. He didn't feel like he was doing anything right at the moment. "Yes ma'am." The man said. The tiger wasn't going to be upset by it. There was no point in it and it would just make Vera answer. "I'll remember that for next time."

Sighing as she felt something like a block in Baihu's tone, te half-elf turned to smile at him and poke his nose. "Hey, I'm younger...no ma'am-ing ME, sir," she teased with a gentle smile. Running her thumb along the slightly torn piece of bark, Vera let out a deep breath and carefully removed a single apple blossom to stick it in her hair over her ear, and then did the same to Baihu. "You should wear flowers more often..." she commented, hiding a grin behind her hand though her eyes still laughed at the image of manly Baihu with a daisy chain like a girl but made with bright pink cherry blossoms.

Baihu rolled his eyes. "The last time I wore flowers was when my girls were young." The man commented before adjusting the flower in Vera's hair so it looked just right. "They used to make me crowns and called me 'King papa'." The man said it with fondness in his voice. He really looked his children no matter how stubborn or crazy they were.
