Ah, that was good. Vira breathed a sigh of relief, personally unable to blame the sprites for feeling so. Since they were such a big part of her, she sort of felt the same way. She shrugged lightly, obviously not going to press the matter if he didn't seem to want to tell. Her power could be a little more obvious so it was usual she'd have to explain. "Thats ok. I still don't have control over mine as we know." She said with a bright smile, really happy to have another friend now. And they were getting along so well!
Her grip was strong, helping him up as he joined her. It made her happy when people were willing to just go with the flow whenever she did something. "I can imagine! Volleyball, the waves, the sand... " She sort of squeed, shaking the branch a bit though not enough to make them lose balance. Least she wouldn't, she got the feeling he wouldn't either.
Blinking, she raised an eyebrow at his absentminded comment, inwardly chuckling a bit mischievously. "What, you jealous?" She teased, sticking out her tongue with a giggle and a wink. Rolling her shoulders to stretch them out, she almost seemed to pout, tilting her head a bit. "Aww, that can get lonely. Least you have more room though eh?"

Nodding lightly, Seiji took a deep breath, waiting for anything. He'd seen a bit of her combat during the battle yesterday, but not nearly enough to make any judgment on how she would fight. Attacking a moving enemy and attacking one unable to move were very different things. As she came forward, Seiji's mind was already trying to analyze. She was fast, as he had expected. The Kei almost seemed to light him up, his eyes moving rapidly from section to section. As the scythe began to move Seiji's Dite did as well. Not waiting for the attack, he let the flat of his blade meet with Ranka's scythe, near the top of the pole and pushed forward to avoid the blade striking him.
For a first movement, it was careless of him. He almost scolded himself, hearing Brahn's voice in his head. Fool! His eyes watched as the pole moved again, though the blade seemed almost to retreat. Lifting his leg, Seiji felt Ranka's weapon push his leg back, enough to throw him off balance. Thankful she was taking these first movements cautiously, his eyes watched her move aside, then quickly looked to the ground which was coming up fast. His free hand outstretched, Seiji felt the tips of the grass against his fingers and flattened his hand. The instant his palm touched the ground he pushed to the side sending his bodyweight to his left and hopefully out of Ranka's range for at least a second. Turning over in the air, Seiiji's feet easily found the ground, his eyes searching out Ranka once he felt himself stable.
She wasn't afraid to use the pole of her scythe as well. He'd keep that in mind. In close combat he would have the edge, but he couldn't count her out either. She was quick, and obviously very skilled with her weapon. Any weapon can be unpredictable. The one weilding it decides that. Seiji reminded himself as he returned to a standing position, still keeps his eyes trained on Ranka.

He liked to keep his hypnotism a secret. When he finally revealed it to her, he probably wouldn't be able to use it on her. Not that he had a use to at the moment. It was just something he liked to keep to himself. If she really wanted to know she'd probably ask. She seemed like that sort of girl. "Yeah, well I guess that's why we're here right? To learn about ourselves and all that other fun stuff." He didn't mind having to learn some of the stuff the academy made him learn. Some of it he could do without, but it was well worth it if he learned to control his ability better. In the end that had been his main reason for coming to Estelle.
Settling himself on the branch, Hyunn's mind began to think back to his childhood memories. The mention of the waves and sand took him back. "Building sand castles, enjoying the warm weather." He added. It would probably be even more fun spending the day with Vira at the beach. The company of a pretty girl always made his day brighter. "Not to mention if there's other places around. Usually a to eat near by if there's a beach around."
By time he had realized he had said his comment aloud, Vira had already her it. She'd caught him. Hyunn was glad to see she didn't take it too personally though. In fact, it was like she was egging the comment on. "Jealous? Maybe a little." he replied, turning to look at her. He'd already gotten a peek once. Sharing a room with her probably meant there would be plenty to peek at if it was as she said. He liked that though, he simply had to smile. "Who wouldn't be jealous of someone who gets to share a room with you? It would definitely make my mornings a whole lot better to wake up to that." He laughed, picturing the image in his head. "Lonely, not really. I like the extra space so far. Means I don't have to share anything." He spent most of his time flirting anyway. If he was in his dorm it wasn't for very long.

Interesting. First point of contact, blocked as expected. Second point connected and knocked him off balance. Perhaps he hadn't perceived such a hit? The wind whistled past her ear as she spun her scythe again, allowing him to get back up. Hm, agile in air as well. Had to make note of that. Must be wary of potential attacks from such a direction.
As soon as he was mostly up, she darted forward again, holding her scythe horizontal to the ground, striking three quick blows. First from the base, then from the top part of her weapon, the sharp edges gleaming, then lastly from the base again. Twirling her scythe in her hand, she brought the blade down in a left diagonal to his shoulder, once more jumping back to observe his reaction. Though she was pressing hard, she was making sure she wouldn't draw his blood. She would not feel fine with herself if she did such a thing.

Vira laughed lightly, though part of what he said had struck a bit of a personal note. About themselves.... She had wondered if she came here if she'd find out about her past. Before that... Her scars throbbed painfully, but she did not show it, instead only giggling with a nod. "Yep! And for some I'm sure it allows them to know they aren't alone in the world. That other people share their abilities or at least something of the sort." She said cheerfully, knowing it had been such a relief to find Tristan when she did. There were others with powers... And then she came here.
She pictured that and almost went off into a dream world, her golden eyes getting all sparkly. "Finding shells in the sand.... Ahhhhh, I wish I could go! Do some really seem to have a rippling rainbow effect from tiny clam shells as a wave pulls back?" She asked, personally wanting to see that. It sounded so beautiful. Blinking, she hadn't even thought about any possible boardwalks or anything. "Oh yeah! Some have amusement parks nearby right? Or something?"
She blushed, but she laughed. She just wanted to tease him, she hadn't thought what might happen past that. Oh now her blush grew one shade darker, looking away from him out of embarrassment and some modesty. She couldn't be that fantastic to share a room with. Aiya... her mind was eight places at once with all sorts of images. Not all of which she understood fully. She did, but didn't. She tried to refocus upon his answer about his room, still unable to look at him since she was so pink. "Thats true. I'm sure it's nice. Though, I don't know if I'd like it. It would remind me how I'm so often alone."

Seeing ranka come forward again, Seiji braced himself, wondering what sort of attack she'd come at him with this time. The horizontal position made him take note of the length of the scythe. Definitely much more range than he had. As the first blow came forward, Seiji felt himself step back to evade, his eyes moving to the bladed side of the scythe. As he'd suspected, the scythe came forward, once more he moved back, watching as the scythe would have cut him. The third blow was again easy for Seiji to see. With such a long pole, it was simple to tell which end Ranka was attacking with. This time Seiji blocked, his katana still vertical as he felt the pole strike his blade.
He felt the scythe pulled back, Seiji taking a step behind as well. His eyes watched as she spun the weapon, suddenly coming down on him. You're waiting too long! The firm voice echoed in his head. Do you think your enemies are going to wait for you!? Maybe he was getting rusty. Moving as the scythe's blade came down on him, Seiji raised his katana to meet the blade, wary of the tip. The sound rang out in his ears, but Seiji put no pressure to resist the movement as the scythe came closer. Taking a step closer to Ranka he angled his katan downward, almost guiding the scythe away from his shoulder. A second later and she likely would hit.
Watching Ranka pull back, Seiji's mind flashed. This would be his turn to go on the offensive. Keeping her attack range in mind, Seiji started forward, his feet quick. The white of the Dite seemed to sparkle in the sunlight as the katana came down in a simple vertical slice. Moving for him was one thing, but Seiji had to keep his attacks fairly basic if he wanted to keep the power behind his swings. Unless he had momentum from his moves, a katana's power lied in it's ability to cut, like any other blade. A step to the right, the blade followed suit. Seiji turned on his heel, doing a full 360 as he blade faced to the ground. As Ranka came back into view he brought the blade up, making a diagonal cut this time.

Beginning to read movements due to size of weapon. Good. Improvement. Almost too slow with blocking fourth blow, will learn to be more wary of speed. Good response time overall, many would not initially keep up. Her mind often moved in such short stop fashion, analyzing much like a computer may. For her, this was an experiment to see how he was in a fight. It was a valid concern. She had no idea if spirits or something relating to her may come after him for some reason. Have to be sure that he could defend himself since they wouldn't be your normal thugs.
Ah, finally offensive. Spinning her scythe, she parried the slice downwards, causing the motion to continue to move in the direction it wanted to, sliding down the rest of the length of the pole. Now she spun her scythe more than once, blocking against his spin as she took one step back, stopping in time to block the diagonal slice with the blade, aiming a swift counter attack with the base to his hip. Pushing forward to knock his blade away, she stabbed forward since the top part of her blade was sharpened and uneven. Turning slightly, she brought the base downwards at a diagonal again, her body spinning as she swung the blade of her scythe upwards at the same diagonal as her swing with the base, just towards his legs now. She continued in that arc so it became a double attack, sidestepping away as she prepped to be defensive.

Or something of the sort. Most of the people here were probably born with their abilities. He'd made a deal with a succubbus to get his. A demon. Not to mention that those demons were known for fooling people full of lust. Well, his world had certainly changed because of it. In the end, he was a little more wary sometimes, but not any less of a flirt. "Right. I'm sure most of the people here are glad to know they aren't alone." He just felt a little more out of place. They all had natural gifts, his had been from a demonic whore looking for a soul. His face a little somber at the thought.
His attention quickly returned though as she went off into her dream world. "Well, you'll definitely find plenty of shells." All beaches had shells of some sort. "I don't know about the rainbow effect though. I guess it depends on how close to the water they are." He hadn't really ever paid attention to that sort of thing. He and he brother were always goofing around or up to something when they went. In his older years he'd been interested in the bikinis, not sea shells. "But I'm sure you could find some." He added on, careful not to crush the image for her. "Yeah, some have amusement parks around. They can make the trip all the more fun if you don't mind all the people."
So her playfulness had gotten the better of her. Hyunn smirked as she looked away. It was clear she was embarassed. The blush made it more obvious. He thought it was cute though. What would her reaction have been if he had pushed a little further into the topic? He didn't get the chance though as she moved on. "I like my space. I grew up sharing a lot of my life. So to have a little freedom is good." He replied. "But you're not alone. You have your room mate and your friends. You're only ever alone if you feel like it." He wasn't sure why he was saying that sort of thing. Maybe to try and console her. She seemed a little hung up on not having as many friends. "Even then your friends can come around and cheer you up."

Shiny Starry Dreams The thought of fantasy and zooming around with special suits and standing in weird poses made Elly daydream a bit. She thought of Vira zooming around with her sprites following her and battling a big huge robot that shot lazers from its eyes. Tristan would come up and zap it with his electricity and Elly would create a barrier and send a bomb inside it and have it go off, protecting both Tristan and Vira if she had to. Yes, a trio would be exciting to be and so many team names ran through Elly's head that she chuckled to herself at how indepth she was being with this idea.
Tristan then leaned in and kissed her and Elly happily accepted it, kissing him back just the same. That gesture seemed to be easy to pick up on and although she still felt that giddy feeling, the kisses started to become second nature and she was content doing it, heck, she could probably do it all day. She also did not immediately break off, finding herself leaning into the kiss as well. Elly also couldn't help wondering if maybe their kissing would lead to something else, her heads up in the clouds again. She mind shook the thought from her head and giggled a bit inbetween their kissing at her thoughts. Suddenly, Cielo came leaping over to them and pounced on their moment, licking Elly's face as though she were neglecting him. "Haha, i'm sorry Cielo. Did you want some kisses too?" she asked him while laughing, the wolfdog licking her face many times at her question.

If you hope to survive in the real world, you'd better shape up. Brahn had always been the firm one. It had seemed to Seiji he liked yelling, at him. Always moving, always aware. If you have time to think of something else you have time to- I get it. Seiji silenced the voice, ready for Ranka's new string of attacks. He wasn't worried so much about the base of the scythe. Of course, that didn't mean he was going to stand there and let Ranka beat him with it. He was simply more worried about the curved blade. The katana flowed in it's movement, Seiji brought the blade level as he prepared himself. Taking a single step back, Seiji let the Dite slip fro his hand pushing the base back with his hands. Still not reaching for the gleaming katana, he saw the pole moving once more, looking to the bladed end now.
Things were heating up, his mind was no longer scolding itself. He was focused. Taking a step forward, he turned to the side, now closer to Ranka. Close enough that as he turned, he managed to dodge the scythe once more. The movement wasn not finished as he watched the blade fall downward. As Ranka began to spin, Seiji turned again, this time to face her. This time he'd have to take a different method of dodging. As the scythe neared his legs Seiji leaned off to the side, taking all weight with him. The blade passed under one leg, than the other as the Psyharden essentially did a cartwheel with no hands. He repeated the process a second time as the second sweep came, this time as the scythe passed by he reached for the Dite, using both hands to steady himself as his feet remained in the air. Kicking one leg back, and the other forward, his aimed a kick at Ranka's shoulder, though she had already moved so he hit nothing but air. Using the momentum, he came upright back to his feet and almost hopped toward Ranka, which lead into a horizontal slice followed by a him dropping low with a sweep of his leg.

(( Sorry, writers block hit me before so meant to answer but was glaring at a wall. )) Tristan pulled back as Cielo came up, making him smile softly and laugh a bit. "You nut. You're supposed to be more regal." He murmured, a hand rubbing the wolfs back. The animal whined a bit and tried to behave as he should, but instead pounced and knocked Tristan over, which yielded a slight shout. "That isn't what I meant!!" Now subject to all the lickings, he felt the weight move, his eyes currently shut against the assault.
When he opened his eyes, he saw these shadow hands gripping Cielo, though not roughly. They placed the wolf down, who looked almost ashamed and most certainly unsure with the possibility of fear. "Uh.... oops?" He muttered, blinking as he watched the hands vanish, swallowing slowly. He beckoned the wolf back, gently petting his head to soothe him. "Sorry boy. Didn't mean to startle ya."

Vira grinned at that, though it faltered when she noticed he seemed more serious. Now it turned to an expression of concern, tilting her head a bit, bending forward a bit and over to the side more to look at him better. "Hey, you ok?" She asked softly, but he seemed to return to normal so she let it go for now.
She knew she was still childish, but she couldn't help it. It wasn't like she had much of one... She did not lose her smile though, no matter where her thoughts went. Maybe it was a defense mechanism so people wouldn't ask questions, maybe she was just trying to keep herself cheerful so she wouldn't dwell. She never really knew the answer to that. "Well, I hope I find some. Take at least one back here as a souvenir." She concluded, stiffening a bit as she thought of all the people that would be around the rides. She deflated a bit, shivering a bit as her gaze lowered. That... that wouldn't be so good. "Eh.. Maybe I'll just stick to the water." She added in a softer voice, holding both her legs straight out for a minute as if to look at her toes, bending them again with a light sigh.
By now her blush had managed to dissipate completely, the welt on her neck throbbing a bit though she paid it no mind. Oh yeah, she hadn't thought about that. "I know what you mean. It feels great to have freedom." She murmured, a bright smile on her lips, remembering how she had felt once she ran away from that place. No, don't go there. Bad to go there. Giggling a little, she looked out towards the horizon, leaning back in the slightest as her hands gripped the branch beneath them. "You're right. I'm not. Heehee, they do their best to, thats for sure. Tristan's had to play his guitar more than once to help me sleep." She looked up to him again, nudging his shoulder gently with her own. "Thanks Hyunn."

Movements growing more precise. He was more focused. Good. More improvement made. Response time, good. Adaptability, good. Overall performance thus far, excellent. Ranka saw him hop, her eyes following his movement as she shifted her grip on her scythe, blocking the slice. As she saw him drop, she stabbed the base into the ground and propelled herself up, jumping over his kick though it did make contact with the pole of her scythe. She used her momentum to aim a kick at him, coming back around since she had used the tilt of her weapon from his kick to tug her back around.
Rolling backwards as she hit the ground, she landed on her feet, both hands on the pole of her weapon as she pulled it from the ground. She knew she was vulnerable now, her eyes watching him as she stood up and twirled her weapon in her hands, standing ready for his next assault.

((Its fine. I thought you didn't see it and i was like 'should I or shouldn't I...' so i did lol)) Elly laughed as Cielo licked Tristan's face until he was magically moved. Elly switched her darkness vision on and saw that his darkness was doing that. It was quite fascinating to watch him do that, though it was scary, just incase it went out of hand, but it didn't. "Ah I see. You must be thinking things and then you manipulate the darkness around you to do what you want the most... or something like that. I'm impressed cause I don't know a lot of people that can do that, though thats me." she commented and smiled. It was truly something Elly never really experienced, though she was pretty much able to conjur her own darkness, but then again that was something that Tristan could do too. What exactly was the difference in their powers anymore, that would have to be answered later probably. It was sunny the day a taxi arrived at the front Estelle Academy. Only one person got out of it and paid the driver and walked off, not bothering to tell him to have a good day or not. It was a rather short girl who looked younger than what she should have been. She swayed her arms around as though she was a younger kid and hummed loudly as she looked around and smiled a little too friendly at the students who went there. She had no suitcases so it wasn't apparent that she was a new student or not. She even hoped on her heels as she navigated the halls. She stopped ina lobby and put her hands on her hips, puffing her cheeks out and frowing her brows. Suddenly she put her hand up into the air and mummered something in a weird language and a spark came from her palm, producing a fairy of some sorts. She whispered into its ear and the fairy started to dash in the direction of a hallway to the girls left. The girl skipped after it, the little creature waiting for her before it directed her elsewhere.
The fairy guided the girl to the front courtyard and pointed to two people and a dog. The girls face lit up and she dismissed her little friend and ran off towards the group. "EEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the girl shouted, a little too loud for a normal call from a distance. Within a second, the girl glomped into Elly and knocked her down, rather hard on the ground. The girl squeezing Elly like she was a teddy bear."L-Lexy? what are you doing here....??" Elly asked, not really sure how this was real. She didn't really express any other emotion other than utter surprise and disbelief as she looked at Tristan, even though Tristan wouldn't have known her.

The topic of abilities would always be a sore spot for him. Hyunn had flirted ever since he found himself begin to be attracted to girls. He'd never once in his life thought his flirting could get him into trouble. Sure, flirting with the wrong girl you get you into some trouble. But his flirting had gotten him into a trouble far beyond that of most. When the succubbus had revealed herself, he'd first thought she was joking. Even these days, he almost wished the demon had been. How many of the others at the academy could say they almost traded their soul away to a pretty face just for some fun and 5 years of life? Not many he was guessing. Hyunn felt his thoughts change as she asked. He hadn't been sure what to say, though was glad the question quickly remained unanswered.
"Oh I'm sure you'll find one. At a beach it's hard not to find a shell." At mose beaches they were everywhere. Not always the big pretty ones you might find in a souvenir shop, but there were definitely shells. "You might step on it before you see it though." Hyunn could recall several times where he'd stepped on a shell, only ever realizing the fact when he felt a point on the shell jabbing into the bottom of his foot. "But I'm sure if you sift through the sand for awhile you'll find something suitable." At the mention of crowds, he could really see how Vira disliked the idea. Maybe he'd take her on a less busy day. Skip out on classes if she was okay with it. Would probably be less crowded at the theme park. Not deserted, but definitely less crowded. "Water's good too. Still, you should visit an amusement park at least once. All kinds of rides and fun to do. Maybe if you feel more comfortable around people."
For the longest time, Hyunn had to share a room with his younger brother. Not that he minded, they got along well. It was just as he got older, he'd always wished he had more space. That didn't happen until about a year before he'd left. Here, he had all sorts of freedom, a definite plus from before. "Well, you're lucky to have such friends then." He said, happy for her. Hyunn had friends, it was just all, or most of those friends were usually girls he flirted with. Feeling her nudge, he glanced over and smiled. "No problem." replying back, he nudged her a little as well. "I may not be able to play you to sleep, but I'm told I'm good company. So if that's any good for you then I'm happy to be a friend."
