Dusk looked over and went back over to him, once again not looking in. "What's wrong?" She didn't know what was going on, all Dusk knew was that something was really wrong, and she needed to help in some way. But I don't know how...how can I help him when I need so much help myself? Thinking this thought, Dusk became sad, but stood strong, not wanting to make it harder for Kyoshi.

"I'....numb." 'Paralyzed more or less and it hurts to talk, oh and did I ever mention that I'm paralyzed? Plus I'm suffering from a horrific past that I don't know how to get over because I just can't with the kind I went through.' The sarcasum in his mind voice couldn't be helped.

Dusk sighed and finally went into the bathroom and knelt, looking at his eyes. "You trust me?" Yeah, she could see that he was paralyzed, and she could do something about it. Just because she was only half elf didn't mean that she couldn't do a few spells. "I can fix the paralyzed part, but you're gonna have to trust me."

Wariness came into his eyes but he put it aside. "It's...mental....strong..." It hurt to move his jaw but he had to so that he could talk to Dusk. That's what he wanted to do. He wanted to talk to her, even if it's in an arguement that turns into a fight, it was better than silence.

Smiling sadly, she whispered in his ear, "Amin helle lle yassen sina breothro men corm." I heal you with this breath, my heart heals your pain. It was a simple spell to undo the torment of the mind. Her mother had used it on her so many times, only...this time it would be stronger because of her now known connection with Kyoshi. The only way this wouldn't work would be if he had no feelings for her.
If anything this would be to test that.

Kyoshi's eyes widened. He felt as if a weight has been lifted from his body. He felt peace come to his mind and he sag in relief. A soft groan escape him when he felt the cold water against his hot body. "Thank you Dusk." He touched her cheek softly with his wet hand and closed his eyes, reveling in the peace that she gave him.

Dusk smiled. He cared, he actually cared about her. Stroking his hair she asked, "You gonna be ok?" He cares... She thought. Kyoshi really does care... A smile was on her face, not only from those thoughts but knowing that for the moment, he was ok.

Kyoshi peaked up at her and looked at her smile. That's the only expression he wanted to see on her face. Shivering as she stroked his hair, he felt himself relax even more. He felt around for her other hand and brought it to his lips. Kyoshi had to make it up to her in the biggest way possiable but he didn't how. There many things he didn't know but he would have to try to figure it out.

Dusk blushed as he not only only kissed her hand, she noticed that he was once again, shirtless. "Um, I'll go ahead and be in the other room. Since you're um, busy..." She didn't want to leave him though...

Kyoshi tightened his grip sligthly on her hand. "Stay." He whispered against her knuckles. "Stay with me." He looked at her not taking his lips away from her fingers and stared into her eyes with intense blue eyes. "Please?"

All Dusk could hear was her heart pounding in her chest. Her instinct was to run and never look back. It's what she did, what she was known mainly for. But... those eyes. Dusk figured that she now knew what Kyoshi went through with her. As she nodded and knelt back down, a blush invaded her pale skin.

He shifted in the water and sat up. He leaned forward, bringing towards him. "Why do you blush?" He traced his fingers over her cheeks that were a bright red. He listened closely to her and heard her heart beating fast. "Do I make you nervous?" He used his mind to undrain the water.

Dusk shook her head, "Not really...just..." She sighed and hugged him over the tub. "Every instinct is telling me to run like hell and never look back. It's what I do. I don't like getting close to people because...because of people like the hunters..." She swallowed back tears as she thought about Zaine. "I... even though my instinct says to run...something's keeping me here... and I don't really know what..."

Kyoshi hugged her to his body, even though the stupid tub was in the way. At least her was in physical contact with her that was enough...for now. He brushed his lips over her ear, blowing into them. "You should propably listen to your instincts. I'm a very dangerous man." 'Who knows that your just as dangerous but beautiful beyond compare.' He listened to her words, a hit of unshed tears wanting to fall in them. "What are hunters? I'll kill them all." He said into her ear and nipped her earlobe gently between his teeth.

Dusk shivered and nodded. "I'd love if you could, Kyoshi..." Not moving, she continued. "The Hunters are what Zaine went after. They... they go after creatures that aren't considered....normal..." Her voice was barely above a whisper. Here goes, she thought. He's gonna ask me what I mean, and... he'll either leave me or treat me like some rare being... Tears threatened to fall harder than before.
