...you get yelled at for speaking in different languages while shopping with your family.
We were in the mall, and I was trying to stop feeling unhappy...so I decided to start speaking random Italian, for fun. So I keep saying things like "voglio tutto il gelato", "grazie, davvero", "andiamo!", "comenciamo!", and "giuro su Dio"...etc... Then all of a sudden my mom turns an says to me, "stop with you and your foreign-ness! You just want to hear yourself talk!"
xd
I'm like, yeah Ma! Right on the money! rofl

Right on the money! rofl My mother often asks me, "Do you speak English? o.O" She'll ask a question and then I'll say 'ouais', and then elaborate in Japanese when asked to do so, then, when asked to please SPEAK ENGLISH, I'll often say "No ja ne govorju po-anglijskij! Dx". It's really funny, because my parents now understand most of what I say. xD HOWEVER, my little brother is a different case. He's decided that, since I'm so good with languages, he's going to rebel against his sister and flunk Spanish all through high school. mad Мой брат раздражающ.

...when you mutter to yourself at church "I'm gonna go home and plan murder..." in German, and the one other person in the church who knows German gives you a horrified look.

Sometimes she scares me though...I must have told her what "grazie davvero" means 10 times! surprised ... reminds me ... my mother uses to talk with the cats, in Spanish and English, and I picked that up ... Like, in the middle of a German conversation she saw the cat entering the stove and snarled 'Zora! Behave yourself!'. Or whenever she called for the cat it went like 'Guapa! Venga qué! Gatita!' (And yes, I'm not sure if I spelled that correctly and I still haven't found a source for the keyboard commands to type foreign letters on a German keyboard)) Anyhow, I picked up that habit, and whenever talking to cats, I switch languages. I'll cuss mostly in English, and some random Spanish remarks have been reported as well. ninja

Eccentric Iconoclast HOWEVER, my little brother is a different case. He's decided that, since I'm so good with languages, he's going to rebel against his sister and flunk Spanish all through high school. mad Grrr... mad Ask him if he really wants to be a vengence-seeking Spanish nerd's worst enemy. wink Also, sometimes I fear I don't understand English. When someone asks me a question, I'm not too quick to answer. gonk ( because I don't pay attention, probably)
