The platform crumbled with a large crash. Silver rebounded and summersualted off before it fell apart into the abyss below. His feet landing on the tree horizontally, he used it as leverage to push off in persuit of Julio. He spear at hand, he would impale him if he got close.

Julio made a turn seeing ihs opponent come after him and then his paw takes up his sword, it's entire form engulphed in energy as it splits open to reveal a shot gun inside that glows heavily with energy. then he took aim as his opponent got clsoer and closer, his gun blazing with power till he pulls the triger, the sound of a lightning strike echoes with the following of a thunderous explosion that propells him higher as his strike took aim at his opponent for a ko attack.

Silver was knocked out of the sky from the blast of lightning, and fell onto a platform below. He was hurt, but not out. He looked into the sky to find a way to immobilize them, and then he remembered; his moonblade was still up there gathering energy.
Silver took the energy he could muster and jumped over a thousand feet into the air for his blade.

Julio's form span from the quickness and his wings flap quicker and quicker to keep hovering. Carbie just looks up at their opponent getting the moon blade and julio got his guitar in arms and then tuned up the music on it, then made a strum as a great blast of sonic energy explodes into a pillar of beam to the silver blade and their opponent.

Well. Reiko didn't have much reason to be fatigued and slow, I mean he was FR0Z3N after all. But y'know, being frozen so quickly does leave you conscious for a period of time. Rather than the suffering of wading helplessly in ice cold water in the arctic.
I'll have to remember to weave with my punches.
It would be all up to Lazenca now. Then again... he did just receive a meat check and the results came back positive.

~Bzzt~
::The sound wasnt loud but, the buzzing filled Jacks ears, and made his stomach churn like ice cream in a blender. He froze for a minute, exactly in place, trying to figure out why all of a sudden, the streets of downtown Durem had just become a grassy field around the base of the largest tree he'd ever seen before.
He had been taken right out of everyday life. He still had a newspaper folded in his right arm, and a cup of coffee half raised to his lips in his left hand. The sun was bright outside today, and so his fedora had been pulled down just enough to cast a shadow over his eyes.
Obviously, this is not the sort of thing that happens while cruising the streets of NY, and Jack would have probably been pretty freaked out if it wasnt for the fact that this type of thing wasnt becoming everyday routine here on Gaia. His lips persed as he let out a...::
Tch...
::And finished sipping his coffee, as he began to lower his arm he let out a sigh and muttered to himself...::
..A guy cant even finish his friggin coffee in peace....
::With his rough fingertips he loosely gripped the lid of the coffee cup and let his arm swing as he started on a walk toward the base of the giant tree. In this windy place his black trentcoat blew freely in the wind, as did his black pants and the black tie which offset his white office shirt.
Once at the tree, he slowly sat down, letting out a few moans as his old back cracked with the motion. He set his coffee cup down beside him, flipped open the newspaper, and began reading. His old eyes scanned from page to page and his gruff and barely shaven old face carried that same old flat look as it traced the pages.::

It was truly a beautiful day.
The sun was out, barely any clouds in the sky, and the wind was blowing throughout the land. This kind of scenery was easily enjoyed by many, appreciated by few, let alone inspiring to one.
Except this place wasn't home.
Not by a long shot.
Booted footfalls sounded out, nothing concealing, or stealthy about it. Soil and stone crunched underneath these feet, and they grew closer as they approached the tree. They came to a stop, sounding as if someone was directly behind and to the side of the man and his tree.
"Got a light?"
Standing behind him, with a rockskin poncho thrown over his left shoulder, a young man appearing to be in his mid twenties at best, and late twenties at most, stood staring down. His yellowed eyes held a intensity that matched the vibrant color in his hair, cut close to his head, and spiked with flair.
A single gorget was upon his neck, upon which two lengths of chain connected; in turn holding the scabbard to a horizontally held sword placed against his back. The only other ornaments adorned on him were that of small shaped stone, fahsioned into a charm around his neck, and a plain looking wristlet on his right wrist.

::There wasnt an immediate answer, Jacks right hand let go of the newspaper page and patted around the chest of coat, and then slipped into the side pocket where it pulled out a black box of cigarettes. With a flick of the index finger Jack opened the box and inside the lid was a metal zippo, just resting there. He tapped it with his finger to make sure it was there.::
Yep.
::His voice wasnt mean or cruel, or even violent or uncaring. It was just a standard gruff voice. Gruff meaning it sounded a it like someone trying to talk over the sound of sandpaper rubbing on concrete. But I guess thats what habitually smoking since the age of 7 will do to you.
He reached carefully worked the lighter out of the cigarette box and reached back up and over his shoulder offering it to the man behind him silently, as his eyes read over the newspaper. There was a moment of silence, as Jack turned the page and said.::
'You from around here?

Yeah... he did. Damn annoying stupid CHEAP meat check.
"Reiko... so this is your style? Cheap? Or is it, 'by any means neccesary?' I'll have to remember that." Yeah... was Lazenca confined to a style? He didn't think so- he made choices based on a certain moveset he had. He could deviate, but one needed guidelines. Even boxers and street fighters had them. Even if everything was custom... a certain stance, a certain way of fighting. It just happened that Lazenca's didn't include low blows.
The time of instant shock and awe had passed, and down on his right knee, Lazenca entered the time of throbbing pain. A great, noticable, red kinda throbbing that would have action lines and shine lines in cartoons. This... hurt. But he could manage; he'd have to. Looking up and groaning, he put his right arm down before him. His eyes were now able to lock onto the block of ice encasing Reiko. At the surface, then just under it- his vision went slightly fuzzy as his eyes locked on some theoretical sub-layer between the ice... a bubble, a crystalline formation.
"..."
Lazenca clenched his hand, and all the ice around Reiko erupted violently... loudly. He could have just let Reiko sit there and freeze, but Reiko was a tricky one. He wouldn't allow him the time to use Pupu and break out. It was the same concept as the midair crystal formation, except Laz didn't need to "make" the ice- it was already there, surrounding Reiko. All Lazenca had to do make it erupt, sending chunks and shards all around an exploded, but very alive, Reiko.
And Lazenca went back to lamenting the pain between his legs, curling up more yet keeping visual contact on his opponent.

"Define here."
The flick of the lighter, as his thumb snapped it open, and the low spark that ignited the small flame was heard, snuffing out just as quickly as it had come. The sound of someone inhaling, and the low sizzle of a cigarette, was lost just as the wind picked up again.
The lighter was tossed back, landing in the man's lap, just as a shadow drooped over him, and then a soft sigh as someone sat down.
Plumes of thin smoke wrapped and drifted upwards, as the red-head took solace on the other side of the tree trunk, staring up at the sky lazily.

Heh. ::Good Question, the kid sort of reminded Jack of himself. The stunted laugh was heard just under his breath, barely over the wind. And then an answered with a better question.:: You just "poof" here like me? Or'd you walk? ::The lighter was out, why waste it. He was trying to quit...but what the hell. Something about this place just bled the feeling that "nothing matters". Despite that, he turned the page and kept reading. With a flick of the fingers he opened the cigarette box and pulled a single smoke with his lips. Like all his smokes this one had writing in black sharpee on the side of it which read "What the hell?". And it was half beat up like it had been in the box as the box went through a war. With a flick of the thumb, the smoke was lit, and the sound of a newspaper page turning could be heard.:: 'Its a bad habit...you should quit. ::Funny thing to say from someone with a smoke in his mouth. But he said it.::

"..." REIKO EXPLODED! What, that's new! Well Reiko himself didn't explode, but he did force all of the energy out and off of his body, which blew off the rest of his clothes except his bandana, because that was trademark and it had to stay. He sent the ice every which way and slowly started towards Lazenca. Now, Lazenca wasn't but a yard or two away. But Reiko was exhausted from the punishment and he didnt know if he could make it there before Lazenca did that thing again. He got into his peek-a-boo defensive position once more as he slowly stepped towards his opponent to end the battle. He started weaving as well, however it was a bit sloppy due to the lack of focus. Well how would you end it?

He bloody KNEW Reiko was able to do something like that. Both happened at the same time, and Reiko was free. And this was bad. Lazenca switched focus again- this time, much closer- just outside of Lazenca's arm length.
Wait, was Reiko naked?
Lazenca wasn't hurting for energy- at all. It's just that Reiko had pummeled him in the first half of the fight, and the soreness was seeping in with the small downtime. When Reiko moved into stance and advanced, Lazenca all but sprung up and back, quickly setting into a stance, one he wasn't usually seen in. He rested on the balls of his feet, arms were at his sides and close to his body but raised, palms open. If he had the time to do so, he'd bounce just a little on his feet, hands idly swatting at the air. In this, he was suited for offense and defense, though he looked more than ready to pounce. Time to take a chance. Being a trained fighter, he would be able to ignore the pain, and he was already adjusting to it. Make no mistake... there was a nice deal of discomfort to deal with, but he'd deal.
These things took a second to form in air, and a quarter of that time to erupt. Lazenca was no advocate of getting close to someone who seemed to have a hell of a lot of skill in CQC- more so than himself, it seemed. This shot was aimed at Reiko's right side, as their close proximity meant that "shooting" straight left a chance that he'd erupt one in Reiko, and he didn't hate the man like that. Hit or improbable miss, Lazenca ensured his readiness by dropping his shoulders just a bit. Reiko was fast, and if this did miss he was expecting a very quick counter... one that Laz should be ready for.

"Ohh?"
Grinning as he stared upwards, the few clouds that did dot the sky, twisted themselves into imaginary shapes he thought were there-- this place was just one huge mind trip after all.
"Doesn't really matter does it? In the long run I mean."
The breeze flowed on through, rustling clothing and disturbing the smaller branches in the tree. Leaves rustled, a few detaching and floating to the floor. Blades of grass swayed, and on the ground, a dirt mound with ants toiling in and out constantly.
Yea....peaceful.

::Jack let a sigh, and folded and placed down his newspaper. He was stuffed full of bad news from black ink and white paper, he didnt feel like daydreaming. He felt like going to work. He had a job, to stop bad news like that. Even if you cant stop the bad anymore than you can stop the night, after 40 years, Jack was still trying.
His back cracked, and he let out a bit of a groan as he stood on his feet and dusted off his clothes with a few smacks to his arms and legs. There was a bit of a sigh of relief as he started stretching. Tossing a few shadow punches at the air, just to get his arms limber.::
Whaddya people do for fun around here?
::He said, getting a bit bored, and flicking away the but of his cigarrette.::
