Wow, I did a dumb thing with my oboe, my cloth got stuck when I was cleaning it and so I stuck a raido intenna in it to get it out... sadly the intenna got stuck too... Blah luckily my teacher got it out!

True thing:
I own the trumpet and then I have a reflection in it. I looked at it and had a staring contest. I lost cause my eyes got teary and blinked.

Some times, I put my flute on my middle finger and show my friends. They get totally offended <.<

pretending a flute is a guard flag and twirl it (my section leader does that)

I used my sax to reach for things out of my reach and I also like to put a ball inside the bell. One time I put beanie babies in the sax in jr. high.

I was used my Flute as many things:
I pretended it was a gun
I pretended I was in the military and held it like so
I spun it like a baton (despite the teacher warning us saying not to)
Once there was a student. the teacher said to play. they were late in o they lifted up their instrument and it slamed against his/her teeth. it lost a couple of teeth or chipped them.
MY band teacher got angry and broke his baton. He slowly chips away at his baton and then he gets a knew one once it gets to short every year. THis year its already pretty short.
Oh, me and my sister start saying what we're going to do with each others instrument. I say I'm going to burn her sticks and use them as kindling, she says she's going to stick my Flute in the middle of the road and get it run over by a car. Its just tradition ^-^

oh god.
I feel so stupid saying this, but i used my flute as a light saber and it flew half way across the room. DX
i used my bass for guitar hero when i wasnt looking.
i used my tenor sax as a sheild from a trombone and it got a huge dent in the bell :C

Two other bass clarinets and I pretended that our basses weree guns and start marching like the German soldiers did, and then we started firing our basses at each other and we got the saxophones to join in the battle. This all happened at band camp..No wonder..
And my section leader and I use our basses for just about anything possible. We used them as canes, head rest, weapons, and of course, pictures. xd

Well... I don't know if this is silly... but it was creative I believe.

My senior year of high school, I played the bari sax in the marching band. When it came time to do the local Halloween parade... we had to dress up in costumes. Now, this was hard for just about anyone because you have to create an outfit with the mouth area free and still be able to hold/play. I had to be alittle more creative b/c of the size of my bari and the fact that it lays on my side/chest when playing it.
So, what I did was create a Black Widow Spider costume. I wore all black with the red hour-glass on my back with the arms on the side. The creative part was that I decorated my bari sax too. I put fake cobwebs coming out of the bell of the sax with fake spiders attacted to it and the sax. It was an awesome outfit.. just with I had taken a picture of it.

my band director walks around and throws mallets, markers, or anything he can find at the trombone players. they talk ALL of the time biggrin

During pep band on Thursday one of the alto sax's put a Rockstar drink in his bell and it fit so perfectly that it stayed there. So while some people were watching the game, a good majority were watching our BD shake the sax like crazy. And the sax player was so mad when it fell out and got dented lol. Lesson learned: none.

Me and my friend had a sword fight (me with my flute and my friend with her clarinet) over which instrument was better sweatdrop

One of my friends put his tuba on his head like a hat but didn't really work cause it hurt his neck apprently.
My other friend got her oboe reed and put it in a trumpet. sounded quite good actually!
Also when we were in france my friend was trying to get above the D abouve middle C on a tuba, she wasn't a tuba player but the tuba player said it wasn't possible.

I'm a very good speech-giver, so when my teacher announced we would have show-an-tell, I thought 'Hey, why not show-off my awesome bassoon?' Well, I named my bassoon 'Potato Luancher,' so I got my class so confused that they didn't believe it was a bassoon, they thought it was really a potato launcher.
Then a girl piped up and said, 'Hey, isn't that an oboe?'
I keeled over and died at that moment.
