I found the light gif through Google - I connected them and threw together the post format (with the Firefox toolbar that does tekformats).
I'm doing good - heading to bed in the next few minutes because it's late. I'm exhausted!

Wanna know what's horrible? Reading the Harry Potter books in Norwegian! gonk They even translate the names! ..I think Harry's about the only one that has his original names. Some have their proper given name, but pretty much everyone has a different surname. Here's some examples: Ron Weasley = Ronny Wiltersen
Remus Lupin = Remus Lupus
Moony = Luna
Padfoot = Tasselabb
Prongs = Horn
Wormtail = Ormsvans
Luna Lovegood = Lulla Lunekjær
Severus Snape = Severus Slur Horrible, yes?

It sounds kind of unusual, but they make sense in their own way. I should commend you to even being able to read norweigian and knowing english, I only know spanish and I can't read it completely...I mean I can but some of the words are too advanced and complicated to me. I guess that's what happends when you live in the States and go through the schools system here. Anyways....how are all of you this lovely Monday morning?

So, Lupin has lupus - and he becomes dreamy and slightly 'odd' every time he turns into a werewolf. And Severus' last name is an insult.
Too funny, but crappy when you're attempting to correlate the book with other information.

Argus Filch = Argus Nask (Naske, is to steal something from a store)

Helga Hufflepuff = Helga Håsblås
Salazar Slytherin = Salazar Smygard
Hagrid = Gygrid
Gilderoy Lockheart = Gyldenprinz Gulmedal (Means something like Goldenprince Yellow medal..)
Poppy Pomfrey = Pussi Pomfrit

 Hello everyone!Merry Christmas!
It's good to see you all again-I'm sorry that I've been unable to be on here lately-but I love what you have been doing to the guild. I only have a few questions.... WHERE are all of the new Christmas Threads...am I supposed to know where they are? Please help the little first year! ^-^ LOL, just kidding. I would appreciate the help. I hope everyone is having a successful December getting all of the gifts and stuffs like that.

*sigh* Mochi is going up in price.. I'm 25K away though. Now it's about 70k instead of around 60K when I started saving up. I just hope that I get the money before it goes up again!

Ok everyone - I have an announcement from our Head of House, in case you didn't catch it in the Great Hall.
Officially, the Erised & Secret Santa threads are open.
Please visit (Holiday events in Haven, whee!) and be sure to read the first posts to get the information and learn what you need to do. If you haven't put together your "Erised" list, you'll definitely be wanting to do that soon! Also, while you're in the Events Subforums, swing by the Ravenclaw Holiday Common Room and pop back in here to tell me what you think. (So far only two Ravenclaws have told me what they think!!) The winning thread is worth 50 House points, so I want us to do great!
ALSO, please go and post your Erised list in the Erised thread - the more members of a house post, the more likely we'll get points (The house with the most users participating gets House points). Plus, it's a great way to get into the holiday spirit.

I opened my Chocolate calendar today... The fifth one. And then the realization hit me. 19 days till Christmas Eve. 19 days, till the delicious dinner. 19 days, till I get to open my Christmas Presents! biggrin
