Layna stalked into the bar, her eyes heavy and her expression hard. She had not slept in quite some time, and her whole body craved to punch someone. Though... That was only momentary. She dodged between the other people who accumulated here, and sat down in a free chair next to the bar, tossing her black hair back behind her in a gesture of annoyance.

Dorian turned to the new girl at the bar."Hello there lassy, what brings you to this fine establishment?"His accent heavy with each word.He motioned the bartender for another shot casually, downing it as soon as the glass was filled.

Layna blinked and tilted her head to the side. "Hello." Her nose breathed in the slight scent of brimstone and ash, yet she relaxed. He meant her no harm, which startled her. "To relax...away from most of the world. Though it seems to have a wicked way of following me." She said with a slight roll of her silvery grey eyes. She smiled infinitesimally at him. "And what would I indeed call you, sir?"

Dorian let out a quiet hiss as the absinthe slid down his throat. "I could ask you the same question,I'm Dorian. Dorian Alexander Cross,I to am 'ere for a little relaxation."He picked up his next shot, quickly he turned to the bartender." 'ey, Wanker! Can't you serve a cold drink!"He let out a deep sigh"Don't worry I got it."A thin layer of frost covered the glass as he brought it to his mouth for another shot.

Alexz gasped lightly as she felt Rogue's fangs sink deeper into her neck; the experience, however, was far more comforting than the last time she had been bitten this way centuries ago. Not many vampires could recall the night of their transformation, but Alexz accurately replayed it in her mind as if it had occurred just yesterday. ((To find it just read the beginning of the History section in her character bio))
She let out a delicate sigh of relief as the rate at which Rogue was drinking from her slowed. She raised her hand and placed it behind Rogue's head, her fingers stroking her hair very subtly in a gesture she hoped was comforting while reminding her that she was a friend and not a meal.
"I think the the amount you have taken should be sufficient, would you agree?"
Rogue had now taken a substantial amount of Alexz's blood; not enough for her to be severely weakened, of course, but perhaps just enough to help.

Dorian stood up suddenly and whipped around from his seat."Ladies, really."He began to clap."I'm starting to think your the clubs premiere entertainment.I haven't seen a show like this since the night the homeland was freed from the bloody English."

Beyond extremely powerful, Alexz's mind was beyond intricate. The amount of minds she had seen over the years, the amount of thoughts she had to filter through on a daily basis. Now she understood why there were so few Psychic vampires. Most were driven mad upon birth. Again, they were put down in the cleansing of the race by more trusted upper level Death Dealers.
She slowed the drinking even more, letting the blood alter her system.
Alexz's hand moving in her hair did remind her not to think of this as a meal. Her words echoed crystal clear in her mind, and Rogue shifted her stance, pulling her teeth from Alexz's mouth, fighting for control every moment to wield the monster fighting for every last drop.
She took a small step back and searched Alexz's eyes hoping she had not taken too much.

The bones in her neck crackled and popped as she straightened herself. She breathed a sigh of relief as the holes in her healed. A reassuring smile spread across her face and touched her eyes as they met Rogue's.
"So how do you feel?"
A growing rumbling in her belly reminded her once again that she was hungry. It hadn't been too long since her last feeding so this was a bit of a concern; but when taking the sudden strain on her psyche since she had been introduced to the Void it made sense that her hunger had grown substantially.

Alexz's mind was very open to Rogue. Feeding upon anyone usually had that effect. Rogue could feel Alexz's hunger, let alone, hear the thought of hunger...
As a vampire, all the senses were already hyper aware of most things, and aware of things that no human could see or ever feel. At this moment, Rogue felt hyper aware as a vampire, whatever that meant. She felt hyper aware of the psychic standing not two feet from her.
She felt a splitting headache come on, and felt the monster within her scream somewhere deep inside to be released. She felt as if she shut the door on the screaming, and heard the dullness of her inner monstrosity as if in the basement of a house....a well sound proofed house. "I suppose you could say there are no words." Rogue thought loudly. She could not tell if she spoke the words verbally or not.
Her hand raised slowly to touch the closing wounds on her neck. "How do you feel."

((Please bear with me sweatdrop , 'tis been awhile!))
Lily sauntered into Las Noches, something she thought would never happen again. It had been awhile since she had stepped foot on the East coast. After her very explosive (to say the least) argument with Veroen that ended in technical arson, she left.
Though everything that she stood for screamed at her to leave this place in her past, as she had done so many other times, there was a strange comfort in being in "the city that never sleeps" when you in fact, do not. People dreamed of this place and did whatever they had to in order to reside here but there was a better purpose for her here. She was growing tiresome of causing chaos just for pure entertainment. A low key, yet respectable existence was something that she was ready to try for.
"Can I get an ashtray, love?" Lily smiled at the bartender and shook a cigarette out of her pack and let it loosely sit between her lips while she sparked her Zippo and ignited it before taking a long drag and ordering something to drink. Booze was the only option to try and remotely calm her nerves and figure out the next steps to actually accomplishing something for the first time in a long time and in a city that she wasn't particularly well liked, or at least that's what she thought.

Alexz took a moment to examine her state of being. She knew how others felt so easily, yet knew little of how she felt so often. The only feelings which she could easily distinguish were intense hunger and loneliness, though both were more like terrible side effects of being a vampire than actual feelings.
"I feel...human." she smirked, her eyes twinkling.
It was so easy to forget what it was like to be vulnerable; moments like these reminded her of how fragile life was, both mortal and immortal. Being reckless was easy for them, but a good bite to the neck was enough to bring any of their kind back to reality.
She could sense the immediate change her blood had made in Rogue, "Well it certainly feels like I've helped some, so that's good."

"Yes...It would seem you have made all the difference." Rogue wiped the blood around the closing wounds with her thumb, keeping her eyes locked onto Alexz's. She felt like her mind was humming.
She put her now bloodied thumb up to her mouth slowly, licking off the remainder of blood, not loosing eye contact with Alexz, her eyes glowing the green they so often did. "How deeply powerful...yet controlled. My mind wonders who brought you into this world. I cannot imagine what you were like as a human...Perhaps even clairvoyant in your youth before you were turned. And yes, I am curious as to who turned you...as most of us are b*****d vampire children, turned on a whim of accidents or pity, you were no accident, and whoever turned you was no rogue...pardon the pun."
Rogue lifted her eyebrow and smirked, flipping through images in Alexz's mind like a book. Most things were incoherent as they were accompanied with other's thoughts and feelings as well.

Lily glanced around the bar, not much excitement but she did see a familiar face...Rogue. She made a mental note that she wasn't quite sure what side of the fence she was on judging by the seemingly romantic scene between her and a girl that she did not recognize.
She downed the rest of her Jack on the rocks, stubbed out her cigarette, and hopped off the bar stool before heading to the door. Just because she wanted a more civil and meaningful relationship with her own kind didn't mean she had to go soft on her diet.
A few buildings were gone within the few blocks that Las Noches was settled into...that went unnoticed... she thought to herself before focusing her attention on a couple of club rats walking down the opposite side of the street. No doubt on their way back from a rave or some other sort of Ecstasy or acid den but she couldn't recall one on this side of town before.
Thought for food... she chuckled to herself Ah, well in any case...
Lily pulled her hair to the side and gave her neck a little crack before heading toward the two. A male and a female, whom she assumed to be "together" by the holding of the hands and the matching colored clip in extensions that they incorporated into their "cyber kid" dreadlocks.
Lily looked both ways before crossing the street, in a flash she stood before them and they looked at each other to gauge the amount of panic they should display to either a hallucination from the night of drug over-indulgence or the world's fastest woman in 6 inch heels.
Lily locked eyes with the man and gave him a sultry "half-cocked" eyes look and reached out for one of his ratty electric green extensions and twirled it between her fingers while she leaned in and whispered something sweetly into the girl's ear. The thrill of the chase and the complication of getting what you wanted was no where near as hard as people thought. True, enchantment, gentle mind control, and suggestion were tools of the trade but even with the living...very few say no to the beautiful. People trust the "pretty" a little bit too much, you never know who or what is behind the pearly whites, glittering eyes, and flawless porcelain skin.
She gave them both a kiss on the neck and lead her two dazed and confused victims by the hand to the bouncer at Las Noches. She gave him a coy smile and very quietly explained her need for a room on the upper floor to eat with a soft whisper in his ear before he waved her in.
She briefly scanned the crowd before charging upstairs to take care of her "friends". The smell of their pumping blood drove her to near insanity, it had been so long since she ate a good meal. Her eyes started to roll back and her lips curved, she couldn't wait any longer. She threw open the door to a small janitorial closet upstairs and shoved them both inside.
The door slammed shut with nothing but pitch darkness to comfort them. With a small gasp and his girlfriend's hand jerking away from him, the man flipped on the light. He started to get up the oxygen to scream at the sight of Lily latched on to her neck and watching the light drain out of her eyes. He didn't even have a second to get the first note out before she whipped around, slammed a forearm against his windpipe and sunk into his shoulder. He wiggled and clawed at her for a minute but went limp and she tossed him against the wall behind her, next to his girlfriend.
There was a faucet with a hose and a drain to fill up mop buckets and rinse out mop heads. She let the cold water trickle on and cleaned off her face before walking back out into the crowd. Lily heard the most annoying wheezing sound and listened to the man try to pull the normal post-trauma questions...Who are you? What do you want? Is she okay?
God, is whining all they do? she thought to herself with a sigh and delivered her answer to him...a spiked heel to the throat and right through the spinal cord...Clean enough right? She smiled, flipped off the light, shut the door behind her and winked at a bouncer walking down the hall before heading back downstairs to settle back into her bar stool for a much needed smoke break after her binge dieting of the night.

A light laugh lit up her face in response to Rogue's play on words. Her thoughts drifted to her human life, memories which were often inaccessible to other vampires. Memories of nights spent roaming far from her home most frequently crossed her mind, occasionally interrupted by a glimpse of her mother's worried face, which very closely resembled her own.
"Just cuz ye have a knack fer avoidin trouble dun mean ye should be gallivantin about!" her mother's angry voice, crystal clear to her so many centuries later.
For a young girl of her time, she had been extraordinarily courageous; no respectable young lady would've put her life at stake for that of a stranger as she did so long ago.
Her fingers absentmindedly traced over two neatly made fang marks on the inside of her left wrist, scars from her turning. That fateful night began to replay in her mind and her brows pulled together slightly at several details that she had not previously noticed.
The woman she had risked her life to save hadn't really struggled with the male vampire Alexz assumed had been attacking her. She had also moved at an unusual speed, and had stopped for what seemed to be several minutes, patiently waiting to toss a dagger at the male vampire. The careful and calculated manner in which she had been bitten was peculiar in hindsight. She had also awoken within a barn several days later, carefully concealed; meals were never treated in this manner, her transformation had indeed been intended.
Glimpses of her terrifying first nights as a vampire began to flash across her mind. Her life-threatening battle for control over her mind and body. She shut her eyes tightly and shook them from her mind.
She smiled, "All this time I figured I had been some rogue vampire's midnight snack...I had never examined the matter further...thank you for inspiring me now to do so."
