I'm not a fan of the starters myself...I mean, they all have the same stupid abilities! crying

Maybe if they had different abilities.

lol but it's also exclusive to them xD

It's nice to see a grass type that doesn't rely on the sun, y'know.

lol It's just opinions anyway. I say the starters are great additions to any team. You say you'd rather not use them.

lol I just had an Icy battle with Candice. She's not so god with her type. And I know she has to be limited so people can acually pass the game but.. I wish they had like.. a difficulty setting for advanced trainers.. where the gym leaders actually perform well..

wishes, thed freakin make it to where the wild pokemon would be over 60................i mean sheesh.....i dont like finishing a game and the bulk of my party is level 50....XD

I didnt think he'd be that easy man. xd
I ran with skarmory in the lead, and set up some traps. then did some U-turning/switching to kingdra on cresselia, worked great.
Regigas....biggest problem here. gonk
Hit em with willowhisp, then threw out flygon for some earthquake and I gotta critical on em! mrgreen
Then heatran...I guess he knew flygon was gonna earthquake his a**, so he exploded. xd

I have that lower electric damage berry on my skarmory, I noticed eletricity kills it WAY more than anything else. 3nodding
Electric types are pretty common in battle tower from what I noticed. Also ALOT of birds too, I've been pummeled with Brave bird for a while now, thank god Skarmory eats them for lunch. xd

Arc: I think it would annoy people that the new starters have better abilities than the old ones.. D:

Hoshi: And I think they stay with those types for the newbie players.. Grass, Water, and Fire are simple types to comprehend with weakness and resistence. Whereas, I still have some veteran players asking me what Dark type pokemon's weakness' are. D:

Some people STILL throw Poison attacks at steel types. ETC.

Grass is burned by fire. Fire is doused by water, plants need water to survive. A six year old will figure that out. D:

but...............if you put the hard stuff at the getgo, then people would know....the game should be education on pokemons.....by the time you beat it you should know a lotta imporant stuff.....XD

Not really xD

Newbies would just be like, "How the hell is fighting strong against dark? Shouldn't it be light?"

They wouldn't be able to really get it. I guess yes, in due time they'll get into the swing of things, but Grass, Water, and Fire types are just easy to understand. By the end of the game most people know most of the type's general weaknesses, resistances, and immunities anyway.

Arc: lol no. But one with common sense would think there would be a Light type to combat the dark type. I remember I though Thunderbolt would be Super effective against Umbreon. Then it wasn't and I was like, "What the hell?"

Someone told me about the whole dark type in japan meaning dark as in dirty fighting.. and when you look at the moves it is.. Sucker Punch, Biting, Pretending to cry(Fake Tears)

And Fighting Type is like, actual good fighting.. so it's he "Technical Light type" Karate Chop, Submission.. fighting styles..

The translation is always lost from any language to another..

Hoshi: Cradilly and Armaldo was a super mind ******** when I first saw them. lol I had no idea what their typing was.

lol and Mawile made me think it was Grass. I used Ice Beam and it laughed in my face.
