TvIaMsOqTuHeYz Laxus's eyes grew wide when the sand wrapped around his mouth halting him mid explanation. ' This indignant runt. ' Laxus thought to himself, his anger welling up. Even though he wasn't the teams leader, Kensei didn't have the serious side to function properly in such a situation as far as Laxus had seen. " As you wish. " Laxus said, his anger quite obvious as Kensei told him to leave. " I'll be outside the gates when you all feel like showing up. " Laxus said turning curtly on the spot much the way a militant would have. He walked briskly out the door and down the stairs. ' That insufferable child might be stronger than me now, but should I ever achieve my full power I will not hesitate to decimate this village. ' Laxus thought his dog tags shifting around his neck. As Laxus would hit the bottom of the stairs, his bead necklace thatthe dog tags were on would break, the beads and dog tags orbiting around his body. He wasn't seemingly on the offensive, so the ANBU would have to be complete idiots to attack him. The more he thought about it, he sighed as he held out his hand, all of the beads and the dog tags falling into his hand. He placed the beads in his pocket and placed the dog tags on his shirt holding them there with his jiton. Laxus would then exit the building, his anger no longer showing, but still very much there. ( Edit: Sorry, I didn't see that you all had posted... sweatdrop ) Okay, I'm going to call you on that one. Imagine if you would, that you are a young child, standing in front of a bear. Said bear puts your head between his teeth and begins to squeeze. Is your automatic reaction to insult said bear in your mind, or to piss your pants and cry for mommy? Think carefully on that one. Remember from the actual Naruto story how Sasuke reacted to Orochimaru's killing intent? Or Zabuza's for that matter? David, fueled by the Ichibi's infinite desire for blood and violence, is above and beyond either of those when he wants to be, and his intentions in that moment were to teach your RPC that you do NOT step out of line. If Sasuke wanted to commit suicide when faced with Zabuza's killing intent, just think on how a newly minted genin who has never even faced an enemy before reacts to something above and beyond that.

My own personal one would be to thank it, but that's because I'm just coasting through life waiting for death. sweatdrop Sasuke had a history of being weak against killing intent, much when Itachi showed him the death of their parents. So when coming into contact with Zabuza's ( And Kakashi's ) pure killing intent, he wanted to end it most likely because he was connecting the dots with Itachi. Then with Orochimaru due to the fact that Orochimaru was literally hunting him, so it was the same as a small bird being hunted by a snake. You answered it yourself though, you said his intentions were to make a point, not to kill him. Not to mention you worded it so that you didn't come off as blood thirsty, or willing to kill Laxus. You said he could have, but that would be auto killing, seeing as you're still only a Chuunin. So yes Laxus, who killed his parents for merely ruining his inheritance, would be capable of telling if David had the intent to kill. Like I said before, Laxus has actually killed before, so he would be desensitized to David merely trying to teach him a lesson, NOT trying to kill him, or giving off that vibe aside from glaring at him. I'm not trying to argue, just state my point. You never included anything about killing intent, so I responded as if you were just glaring angrily and auto hitting.

The description of the raw fury of the Ichibi was meant to be part of that point. But that's fine. If that didn't work, this last post should make his point. Also, David isn't a chuunin. He's a special jounin. Even if he was a chuunin though, he could certainly generate a strong enough mental force in that way to put a genin down. But, well, that's a moot point now. Sorry about the autohitting by the way, but really, would you dare try to avoid it? XD

HadoKennie I'm not sure if I should post or wait until tim posts Probably wait. He's effectively the center of events right now, so anything you did could potentially be partially invalidated by his response. Or you could do like Kagetsu did, and give a summary of how you reacted up to the point where he has to respond, and give him a bit more to start off with, since you were highly included as well. I wouldn't post beyond where he's likely to respond though, since that'd begin to tread in areas that might not even happen depending on his own reaction.

How? Just assume how his rpc would react and rp it out as such without his permission? It would be awkward to continue the meeting while Laxus is right in between David and the Kumo shinobi.
Oh, and three cheers for the new Kumo rpc 4laugh . Sora shall offer your new rpc sweets, Hinote, as soon as she meets him blaugh ! Actually, she might offer sweets to David as well despite everything that's happened emotion_awesome .

Considering it's been 48 hours, I get the weird feeling he might not be posting. But, ethical conundrums over how to proceed may soon be rectified, as Luo is blowing up the tower...
@Kagetsu: David would probably just look at you funny, but Shikaku would probably accept. I don't really know his personality yet, but I think he'll be a bit more open than David. XD
Also, I noticed you used a spoiler on your profile. Did you do that before or after I did it to all the Suna ones? Just curious.

Oh, right, forgot about the post Luo made in the Marketplace sweatdrop .
On that note, I find it somewhat--not sure what the exact term is, but I suppose weird will do--weird that Luo of all people is making this attack while I'm controlling a zombie army against Zane with another rpc. It feels strange rping against the two people who rped my first Naruto rpc's first teachers burning_eyes .
David looking at Sora funny? Perfect. I've actually been wondering when someone will finally act like that xd .
I did the spoiler after seeing the Suna profiles. I liked the idea so I copied it whee .

Nah, it wouldn't have worked with the way things were. I did have time though to see it differently, since the jutsu was cast in a different location and everything we actually could have done two more rounds before making any escape. Also, the Ichibi barrier wouldn't actually have stood up against that attack at all. Really, S ranked attack vs A ranked barrier weak to heat based jutsu... Nope. I used a more, built in, method of escape.
