It's nice to dream and speculate, but why go all RAWR on the author's a** when he or she sinks your ship?
The author's telling the story the way he or she sees it, not the way anyone else wants to see it.

My close friend is a 'hard-core' naughty lemon fanfiction writer, but she knows none of works/fantasies will come to fruition.
Of course, the creator of Naruto is pretty much screwed over since he drew that Sai/Sasuke fanservice picture in one of the chapters around March. xd

I haven't read the specific chapter you mentioned, but I've seen the pic in someone's sig 3nodding And now that you've confirmed my suspicion that it's real, I can only agree with you; Kishimoto's probably gonna be quite screwed over by yaoi fans sweatdrop xd

Fav Ship for naruto for me is a tie between NaruHina/KibaHina. ninja I saw the chapter the morning of when I was going to an anime con. That was the one thing I kept hearing about from EVERYBODY. My friend, she was cosplaying as Sai and she kind o freaked out in the fan girl kind of way. xd
