Hinote Tosatsu TvIaMsOqTuHeYz How hard would it be to get a hold of some Crystals in Sunagakure, excluding Yasashii and his bloodline? Not too hard. I did a tad bit of research awhile back (Can't recall what I was looking for...), and crystals do form in the desert for various reasons. Lightning flash melting the sand, really hot fires or possibly meteor strikes also melt sand into crystal and glass. (Glass is also crystalline.) Just look up "Desert Crystal" or some such on Google and Wikipedia. Okay, I was just wondering because I wanted to have crystal instead of Iron rods for a technology since I couldn't find a picture of an engraved iron rod. I like the meteorite crystal option, I wonder where in Suna I could find one of those.

What kinda story-related mission?I see... I hope all of that clears up soon. I don't like losing our Shira so much. And I'm gonna need someone to go investigate Iwagakure once I'm done interviewing the NPC. Since you're the only other member of Suna over genin, that pretty much means you. You can take a genin or two with you if you want though. You will need to update your profile soon though.

My suggestion is to have a crow bar handy. You can't go wrong with that. Also, I think that having a Sealing Master come along with you would be a good idea. >.>

Ah but conclusion jumping is so fun! ^_^ Besides, he figures that if the basis of the group is in being cut off so entirely that your own village doesn't know you exist, contact with the main group/village is probably nil during an assignment. Especially when it comes to another agent's assignment. Potentially wrong, but still a valid enough plot hole to draw his attention.

Oh it wasn't your speculation that caused me to post this, but rather the way you stated it in your post. Seemed as if you were stating it in a sort of matter-of-fact way, like it was something Jin had just said himself. Otherwise it doesn't bother me for you to speculate.
