I start school tomorrow.

Blah. and I have a library fee to pay that's in excess of ten dollars.

Actually... you're not technically on my friendslist. But eh, whatever. I decided to send anyway.

*sigh* So, you all might remember that I was supermucho excited about getting a new computer at some point over the summer, and the ensuing failures of the motherboard and RAM when said computer finally came together. If not, thats what happened, what happened next is proof that Im not meant to have a new computer.

I returned the parts, and a lot of people apparently did a lot of work to try to get those parts back to me as fast as possible. And then Hurricaine Katrina struck. It so happened that the parts were being shipped from New Orleans, and we're sitting snug in a box when everyone evacuated and then the city basically got leveled.

Please do not mistake this as insensitivity. If I could make it such that Katrina struck my computer a million times over rather than disrupting even a single life it is a trade I would gladly make, I am not so delusional as to think 700 dollars worth of computer parts could ever hope to be weighed against countless lives.

...The fact remains however, that since I have just squared away thousands of dollars in college costs, that neither I, nor my parents have anywhere near the kind of money necessary to order the parts from elsewhere and complete my computer. So, I will not have a computer of my own for the next three months at least, and since Im usually working in the computer lab, my visits here will be sparse. I'll try to come twice a week at least, but I don't promise anything.

....I've always had terrible luck with things that needed to be shipped to me >.>

Two of the places where I tried to apply for a job today told me that I wasn't attractive enough to work there.

They are dicks.

And by d**k, I mean Private Detective.

And by Private Detective, I mean dripping, wet, pulsating, bear p***s.

If people didn't see it before, I put up a whole bunch of stuff in the Guild War thread with a possible theme for us to use, esp. since we are now late and had bettah Get Busy if we want to get anything done.
