I said I didn't want to run this place. This time, I'm coming out to say I want to run this show. I'll talk more later, but for now, understand I'm serious. Just as everyone will have one vote in the election, all members may Nominate ONE player as they see fit, regardless of crew, status or length of residency in Rykros. This Nomination thread is open as of 8:43am Central Standard Time Tuesday October 11th, and will close Friday October 14th at the same time. Please fill out the code below when making your nominations. NOMINEES, PLEASE NOTE: Once you have been nominated you must either Accept or Refuse the nomination. I don't want people who are unwilling to be Captain getting dragged into the Public Forum or Polls against their will. When the time comes, you'll have all the reasons you need to make me Captain. But until then, please don't try and put me out of this race. I'm not going to fall out, give up, lie down, or walk away without a fight. I've already consented to "giving up" my crew position. I'm serious about this, and when I'm serious, I make things happen. It's just my way. Edit: What's it matter if I nominate myself anyway? I have the courage to step up to the plate and take the reigns. That should be enough.

I am saying that even if you are self nominating you should have to follow the same rules as everyone else. it doesnt matter if you sound arrogant, as long as what you say is fact, it is valid. Though given your recent hiatus post, well, it puts you in a negative light when you say things like that about the members of Rykros, as well as the guild itself.

You'll find my nomination to be further informing, while leaving me room to talk about other things later on. I will, however be reiterating that point later.
As for the statement about courage, it depends on how you view it. Your going to view it negatively, where as someone who values courage would nod their head.
Be wary, The Urban Superstition you know is not here right now. I've reverted to a much less hyper, more thoughtful state. Don't think I'm as witless as I once was, nor do I carry the same callousness I once did. I'm willing to first change, before I expect the guild itself to change.

Thank you for reading. Please, by all means, express your opinion. But it's that same don't care attitude that has a lot of people in a metaphorical hole. The current generation, for example, has that same attitude. I can't imagine you being older then 17, 18 years of age. If you are older, I congratulate you on being a trendsetter of your time. First off, I'm 20. Second off, that wasn't my "I don't give a ********" attitude. That was my "you people are acting like ******** children by persisting in this pointless arguing since it's going absolutely nowhere" attitude. You're no innovator, and you're definitely no trendsetter. Using the plight of America's youth in a miniature speech to put me down, oh yes, so original.
This is all just a repeat of everything that has happened to do with RP-...no, not even RP, to everyone everywhere, ever. Social hierarchy? Needs to be a leader, everyone bitches about it. Government hierarchy? Demand a recount in Florida, cause we don't like the way it's looking!
Oh, and just because I'm acting apathetic about things doesn't mean it's just an act. I really just don't give a single ******** about how things turn out, here. As far as I see, it could be worse, but not one of you can make it any better. Not because this is an amazing guild, but because none of you has the capacity to do so.

@Hedonist: I agree with you on a few points, but with how you are acting right now you are being a hypocrite. You complained about our pointless bickering then went on to bicker pointlessly. You are getting nothing accomplished and it should be very clear by now that your target audience isn't really going to learn that much from your words, nor their mistakes.
@Urban: Just shut up. There is no point in you responding. He will say what he wants regardless of what you say back to him. Just work on winning the election if you truly want to. Piddlefarting around with this guy isn't going to help nor win you any votes.

Your both very late as well, as this took place much earlier in the day, before school in fact. Just relax, I've got it all covered. Wood: We're at a point of waiting. And I know he'll say what he pleases, but what he says are purely his opinions. I will give him mein own, and that will be all. A friendly discussion in my book. Well, somewhat friendly on my part. Ferr: Already done it broseph. Did it about a minute after Cass brought it up. No big deal here anyway, just someone sharing their opinions with everyone. No fighting here. Ah, well when I saw it I was reading before school, but the point remains. And either way, just because he is expressing his opinions does not mean you should egg him on. That is not what a leader should do. A leader should neutralize the situation rather than allowing it to continue, let alone being a part of it himself. And we both know that that was not friendly, even if you said what you did in a polite way, it does not hide the message behind it, which was an attack on him. Just don't egg people on. There's enough s**t going around here now because everyone is ******** stupid. I'm just trying to n** as much of it in the bud as I can. Arguing with me isn't going to help. It will only make things worse.

@Cerus, I appreciate you bringing your more than blunt honesty into the guild, but right now it will only cause problems to pick fights. So lets just back down and RP and chat normally if we can?
@Urban, for someone who things they're going to win the election after a self nomination and all of that you sure egg people on and talk a lot of s**t. I expect more from you if you're going to try and run off a self nomination. Hell, I expect more from all of us nominees.
@Wood, Again, honesty and opinions are nice, but lets cut back on the fighting for the time being. The guild is in a rough patch and until a captain vote is made I'd love to see people being less argumentative, myself included.

These days, everything's an attack on everything. It's not like he held back in any way. I did nothing to him to bring all of this on. As for egging him on, I didn't want to, but he's someone who seems to be doings this for their own enjoyment, thus the name "Hedonist," which I can guess is a person with Hedonistic Beliefs, where the only thing that matters is one's own pleasure. By "griefing" us, they get their enjoyment. I am not unhappy right now, thus he has failed to complete said objective. I will not fret over this man's words any more. I sure didn't worry about them at school.

Cerus (Aka Hedonist) is a friend of mine. Any farther attacks on him will be taken personally by myself and it wont be pretty. I'm tired of new people coming in, and getting chewed out for opinions all the time. Especially when I get PMs from people saying they can't stay in the guild because it appears that most of the crew either doesn't care, or other words I refuse to repeat.
So lets end it here. Discuss something less hostile and stop targeting people. I have no more patience for this stupidity.
