IndignantSchizophrenia280 #1: Raito, if your friend doesn't have the proper equipment and all, teaching someone else is dangerous. Or, that's what my fencing instructor taught me. Yeah, never raise your blade without a good fencing mask on. *Puts on fencing mask* I AM THE MASKED SWORDS MAN...WOMAN!

Or, that's what my fencing instructor taught me. #2: I have a wooden sword from Medieval Times that I'm STILL shaping into an uber blade of crappy doom. >w< #3: Yeah, and the sabers themselves compared to foils (depends how ornate) are huge, from what I've seen. I meant he tries to teach me all the terms and such. Verbally.

Gah, I leave for a while and you guys start talking about Fencing?! Well, not like I have much to say anyway. xp
Let's see...in the class I first started with on Guam, the teacher only taught Foil because she was trying to squeeze so much into one semester. I found it quite fun and wanted to continue. So when I got to school here in the Philippines, I was soooooo glad to find a team. The coach has a strict regimen though...to practice footwork 'til he thinks you're ready to train with a weapon. And I've been lagging behind because I'm choked on the workload. gonk Damn overexpectant teachers. stressed
But I get to watch the more seasoned members fight. Sabre looks AWESOME. eek

Wow! Fencing converstion! ^_^ I can contribute!
I'm a three-weapon fencer at my place. Mostly sabre and foil, though. Don't have as much time for epee. So I guess I'm really a two weapon fencer....
Sabre is, in my opinion, the most fun, but it's also the most diffucult to learn. So it gets really frusterationg, but it's so worth it! ^_^

Anyway, I was actually born and raised on Guam. *waits for the collective "What's Guam?" xd * So I didn't learn the language very much. sweatdrop
