Obsidian looked over at the man. He was new to her as well. She grinned and suddenly appeared in front of him, "What's your name, cutie?" She asked, batting her eyelashes up at him.

Lina turned slightly and smiled as she saw Quinn, she was about to answer him when Obsidian popped up infront of him, making her laugh in amusement. Many who weren't used to that found it unnerving, "He is Quinn, a new member of the Lotus. Quinn, this is Obsidian, a friend of mine who has chosen to help us in our quest."

Obsidian gave a sly smile, "Quinn. What a distinguised name you have." She purred, she made little circles on his chest with her finger, "So, you're new around here or returning?" She asked softly.

"I'm new around, Obsidian." Quinn bowed in her direction, taking note of the way she was acting. He also took note of Lina, and guessed that this behavior was common, "It's a pleasure to meet you."
He turned back to Lina, playing back what all he had seen in his head, "You were messing with a dangerous force, m'lady. Something to open the next tomb? Seine is going to be a difficult release, by the sound of it. Anything I can do to help?"

Obsidian not used to being rebuffed, blew a cloud of of dust towards Quinn. It settled around his head and would give him a fit of sneezes and probably make him itch. Obsidian herself disappeared with a soft popping noise.

"That I know Quinn.." Lina said, getting back to the seriousness of the occasion, "Light and Darkness must be used in conjuction with the element we need in the spell I found earlier. It's the only way to substitute the orb that was broken, but as always, dealing with such power comes at a price. All of the Lotus and now the Blyadon will have to be used in Awakening all four elements so when the time comes, I will need your help..or maybe you and Kanna when it is needed." she folded her arms before saying, "You are fully rested am I correct? I may just have something fo ryou know infact..."

Quinn waved off the dust absentmindedly. Using his slight control over wind he sent it in another direction, not really sure what he had done to deserve it. He figured it was probably something to do with the formalities, but he didn't mind it. When the pop occured and Obsidian was gone, Quinn simply chuckled to himself.
When Lina spoke his name, Quinn turned to her and listened intently. He then said, "Light and Darkness are deadly in themselves, forces that even the Sages of Manjit rarely dabbled in. I became an outcast of sorts, choosing to do more with the two then any one, whether it be by spellbook or by my own personal practice. Why must we use all the Blaydons and Lotus, though? Could we not use the other Elemental Leaders in awakening the next?"
Quinn felt terrible for shooting back questions when his superior addressed him, so he solomnly answered hers with a simple, "Yes, I'm fully rested. I've been curious as to where Kiran was located. I wanted to test her ability."

After four failed attempts, Remus had finally managed a small edible batch of cookies. He decided it probably wouldn't become a hobby of his anytime soon. He left and headed for the training area to see how they'd progressed. He arrived just as Obsidian left. "Hopefully everything went well?"

"If it was that easy, I would still call for all of us to help," Lina said, raising an eyebrow slightly at the questions, but continued either way, "The sheer power that will be released when Seine is released is reason enough to be cautious. That is why every able bodied person with the ability of the wind and earth must be used." she said, correcting her words from before, "As for the other Leaders, it was explained to me why that must not happen. Powers such as the four tend to gravitate towards each other such as they do in nature, and the elements that are directly opposite like fire and water tend to become negavtive and end up fighting because of it. A battle between Leaders could cause even more damage the the power released from before."
She turned to see Remus carrying the cookies and sighed, "I am surprised you actually did it. Everything went as well as it can be, although I wish there was a way for us to use the same amount of power that the spell demands without nearly losing consciousness.."

"Well you did as well as you could under the circumstances. That's about all you can do." He offered the plate to Quinn and Lina. "As for these," He indicated the plate, "this is the fifth batch. When we get married, if you make me the cook, you do so at your own risk."

((Just a quick note, Enfuri would like to have both Remus and Lina around when the training match ensues. She's off to dinner right now, and will be back shortly.))
"I see." Quinn reflected thoughtfully, "It seems I still have much to learn about the Politics of magic in this place. Please forgive me for my questions while I learn. But, you said you might have something for me?"
Quinn, not one for cookies, smiled to Remus in acknowledgement, but refrained from taking any cookies.

Lina nodded before saying, "You don't have to worry about cooking Remus...although I'll train you if you like." she smiled at that and took a cookie.
"It is alright to ask, a leader should be able to answer," Lina said, waving the apology away, "You said you kneow something of elemental magic am I correct? How well do you know how to control the wind?"

Remus set the cookies by a wall where they were accessible and out of the way. "I think I'll pass on that offer for a least a little while." Remus grinned. "Besides, the last time you and I were training, I had 6 daggers flying at my back."
