satans-plaything Self nomination should not be allowed... This is for the guild. If the members think he should be captain he should have towait for a nomination like everyone else :/ otherwise anyone could nominate themselves...

You nominated yourself last Election DG. This time around, everyone is only allowed one nomination. If they wish to spend it on themselves, so be it.

Had nobody else nominated me I did not expect to be put on the docket.

Last election DG was nominated before he nominated himself I believe... though I may be wrong since I cant see the old thread any more... Please correct me if I am wrong. Or that ^ haha

I'm not stupid Jackie. It will still hinder any editing, altering, and any crew room related things. As well as other things I'm overlooking at the moment.

As is stated in the Request, this wouldn't even take affect until Firday of this week. In that time, all Crew nominees have ample ability to copy any and all work they are pursuing in Crew Home to a text document or other medium, and continue to work on whatever projects they have. PM contact will be held between remaining crew and the Nominees that step down as well. I've had plenty of experience working to contribute towards a guild without Crew status. All you have to do is PM Me, May, Wulf or even YoDae once he's been promoted with the thread you want changes or edits made in, the corresponding edits, and we will take care of it. Crew contributions will slow only slightly if you are willing to work with us. This election should be the Guild's 1st priority as it is, since with a new Captain appointed we will be able to kick things back into high gear and really start making considerable progress.

If i was refusing to step down I'd say so. I just don't want to do it if it's not needed. I'd rather not have to wait around to do most of my work.
Like I said though, if the majority does it. (Primarily meaning you, urban, and snuff) Then I'll gladly do it. I just don't feel too lightly about a position I had to work for being removed.
