"Oh yes, sometimes I can never hold on to anything, oh well, bye bye book." Jack snapped his fingers on one of the books pages and it bursted into flames. "Well, if you needed it or not, its gone now and no hero is going to get it." Jack walked between the two and left.

Just as Jack would pass by, he would notice a small cut on his arm and the sensation of something entering his wound. He would only catch a glimpse of blood ooze.
"Call it a little farewell IOU."
Onijiro did not bother facing Jack.
"If you come near any of these people again... you will receive the gift."
He turned towards Yasuyama.
"Let's go."

Yasuyama watched in horror as the book burst in to flames. He hurriedly ran over and tried to save the book but it was no use he had failed. Enraged Yasuyama turned toward the man who burnt the book, but he was gone. Yasuyama then just began walking around with a blank stare wondering if there was any other way to help. He hadn't even heard Onijiro talk to him, as he walked off.

Jack just laughed. "An IOU? How generous hero!" He kept walking away, completely ignorant of his wound.

Onijiro's geranium eyes blazed.
"You think so?"
The black ooze was now coursing through every vein, artery, and blood stream within Jack's body. The ooze caused the blood vessals to violently exploded, creating massive internal bleeding. The black ooze, along with Jack's blood, hardened like steel and finally formed into spikes, piercing out of every single pore on Jack's body. There was no mess, as all of Jack's blood had been used in the process. His body would stiffen as the many spikes protruded from his body. The black ooze melted from his body, along with the rest of Jack's blood and attached itself to Onijiro's cloak.
"Perhaps, too generous."
He turned to Yasuyama.
"Come, Yasu. We should check on the princess. We need not worry about this one any longer. He is a part of my collection, now."
Onijiro set off for the castle.

Yasuyama finally heard Onijiro mention checking how the princess was, he turned around and began to walk with him to the castle afraid of what he might see, as well as praying that Onijiro had indeed saved the princess.

Onijiro turned his head to face Yasuyama as they walked.
"Don't worry, Yasu. I can regenerate dead blood cells and seal wounds. I believe Tai is watching over the princess. She'll be fine."

Yasuyama nodded as Onijiro spoke, not really paying attention to anything, it was time for him to become stronger but how, his skill with the sword has failed numerous times since he became a guardian. His goal seemed farther away than when he began.

Tai clentched his open hand into a fist and blood splashed the walls as the Blackheart Brother was crushed. Getting up from his crouching position, he drew his Dragon Katana, placing the blade's tip not an inch from Hana's throat. He glared, his red eyes trembling in sorrow.
"You'll not get that crystal until you prove that you can bring her back!" he yelled, a single tear rolling down his cheek, "For all we know you could be working for Saki!"
In one swift movement he snatched the crystal from the girl's neck, keeping the katana blade at her throat.

Onijiro and Yasuyama arrived at the castle, observing Tai from a distance. Onijiro smirked and faced Yasuyama.
"See? I told you Tai could handle it."

Yasuyama looked up and saw Tai with a blade at the young womans throat "He seems to be letting his anger get the better of him, we should stop him from harming that girl I don't think the princess would like us threatening those who show no hostility towards us."

((I'm dead now apparently, I think lol, luckily Jack's true presence is in his mask or this post wouldn't exist!))
The body of Jack fell to the ground lifeless and his mask fell off. "I liked that one too!" The body vanished in a dark red smoke, leaving only dust. The mask of Jack layed on the ground for several minutes before rising off to find a new host.

Hikari woke and sat up. She didn't know where she was and noticed all her wounds were healed. "Onijiro?", she said quietly to herself as she knew he had to of been the one to heal her. She looked around alittle, but didn't move from the spot she was at.
