Savvy had read her mind. "Trust me Sav, if they can't cook and expect me to eat slop, that's exactly what I plan on doing. My mother has spoiled me with good cooking for far too long to eat anything even remotely like what Daddy used to make. He has gotten better though. Zykariel told me he burned spaghetti one time. I didn't even know that was possible." But she picked a few things out for herself, careful not to spend too much money. "So I never got to ask you, what do you think of this place? Kind of strange al the natural disasters that have occurred...definitely not natural."

His beauty was almost ready. sweet freedom of the sandseas was beckoning loud and clear to his ears. but here he was at the rpow of his ship, letting his medical officer handle the aftermath of punishment, and looking over a personal list. He'd probably have to make a visit to him during this. and he really didn't like that. have to up the payment if he did.
So lets see. supplies were good. crew was adequate. this 'team' was a pain in the a**. two elves, one of questionable skill, the other hindered by physical blindness. probably would be more so without her bird. the little lady, the dragon-kin, one smartass magic toy user, and maybe that one from the guard with Lycear.
soon enough though, they'd be in his home. then they'd understand what life was really like.

"Good to know, now I won't have to fear eating things. But yes it is possible, Dhairiss did it once. Sticks to the bottom of the pot apparently, burns that way." Shrugging somewhat and then reachign a hand back to pet at Chylithair. "I think that despite the awkwardness and such, that it is a very intriguing place. We came here to find something new and something exciting and we got pulled in very very deep into something. What better way to see a plane?" A little nod however, folding her robe over her arm...really not too much of a point to wear it constantly now since they all knew. "No, not naturally made, but natural in look. I applaud whom or whatever can do that. You going to be okay to take on this little adventure?" Noting that Chylithair left her shoulder, most likely to return to the ship and scope it out again.

Well it seemed like Caden didn't get to even say one word during the whole argument, everyone was concentrating on the other and it seemed his question went unheard, but by listening he kind of understood what happened. So once everyone headed off to do thier own thing Raynes just picked up his bags and went in search for a room, after all he needed a place to sleep, and three hours was more than enough time to find one.
So in and around the ship he went, checking places out and not trying to get in the way of the crew that was busy going to work, last thing he needed was for a fight to break out and he was the one in it. So room after room he searched until he came across a fairly sized room, a little smaller that the one in his place, that would suit his needs just fine. So quickly he set his stuff down on the bed and began to unpack, he really didn't need to head back to shore he had no family waiting for him anyway so he was all set to go now.

"No worries at all." She listened for a moment and nodded, made sense to her. "We sure did. I'm not sure if I'm altogether thrilled about it but at the same time it's an adventure the likes of which I've never been able to actually have. All my brothers and sisters have done something thrilling during their lives. This is my chance so yes, I can do this. I can!" She blinked as something knocked against her knee and looked down at Sundance. Kneeling down she patted her head then started following after Savvy but Sundance continued to follow.

"Glad to see you have enthusiasm for this. That's the best thing to have for any endeavour. You have to resolve to commit to the journey and see it all the way through to the end. That is unless it becomes a fool's quest that would solve only to end your life." She had her little profound moments but gave a look behind her at the sound of paws. "Your dog seems to want to come along." Reaching the boat once more and knocking her boot toe against the gangplank, finding out where it started and such. "And we can always ride our horses if we want to get off the ship as I said. It will be good for them anyway."

Enthusiasm but not the abilities...or so they all thought. She shook her head and nearly sighed then leaned down and pet at Sundance's head gently. "I have enthusiasm and a dog that won't stay behind. I hope Captain Hawk wont' mind..." She stepped onboard, the dog right behind her, standing obediently at her side. "I'll probably do that every once in a while anyway. I love my horse so much more than this boat. At least with her I know what she can do."

glancing over at sundance, or so the dark skinned elf named it.
"For it's own safety. some people in places we'll be going to eat dogs. Tried it myself once. not too bad if you don't know what your actually eating."
looking over the two elves.
"If you've gotten everything taken care of, go below and grab a bunk or a room if you can find one. most are used for storage here."
That left the two dragon-kin that we're back yet.

"I just like the ability to feel what's going on around me, when on this boat, it's kind of diminsihed and such. Not too pleasant...though at the same time, that's the show of a sound ship ready to sail." Though her attention turned to Hunter's general direction. "That's gross. And where pray tell are these people you're talking about? This seems like the only habitable place in this whole plane that's a vast sandy wasteland." Crossing her arms lightly, fingers playing with the links of her chains some. "We grabbed ours already, we're ahead of the game."

She blinked at Hunter for a moment and shook her head. "Why would you try to eat a dog?" The dog at her side stood, hackles raised and growled menacingly. Sundance, stand down." Snapping her fingers she pointed and the dog obediently plopped. That was rather sweet of him to be concerned about her safety. "I appreciate the concern but she refuses to leave my side. And I'm sure she'll be perfectly fine. She's well behaved." Turning back to Savvy she nodded. "Everything is taken care of so we're ready to go at anytime you wish to set sail Captain. And I'm sorry about earlier. I just don't take very well to anyone manhandling my family."

"the city is the most hospitable, but not the only place that is inhabited in these lands. and I know the dog is well trained. we trained them. you really didn't think that many strays around the area were just a coincidence, did you?"
walking over to Sundance...or so she'd been named, and put his hand around her neck, finding the little container that held the notes passed along.
"They respond to other commands. and they are quite useful for information."
glancing at the dark skinned elf.
"As soon as the rest of this team is here, we're leaving. and your apologizing to the wrong person. the past is past, and while things are remembered, you don't apologize. if you really feel the need, try it with the lookout. he's the one that suffered most for it."

A look to Shyrae. "If you were starving and it was the only food would you eat it? That's the only reason I can think of." Though it was still kinda an icky thought for her. Let's be honest, she was spoiled. Plopping an elbow on her friend's shoulder. Was nice to know someone had your back, even if you gave off the impression that you didn't want them to have it. "One dog on board isn't going to be any harm. Besides, Shyrae is a Trainer by profession and an elf...bet she could turn and of your 'well trained dogs' into ones that exceed such thing."
And then a roll of her eyes."Pfft no apology for him, he drenched me. Maybe he's learned his lesson. And also maybe he'll learn to see me not as merely a woman and what that entails when women are upon ships." Yup, still bitter.

"Mmm, no that would be like eating you if I had nothing else to eat. I would rather starve." Sundance glared at him and growled immediately then opend her jaws to snap. Shyrae lifted one finger and pointed and the dog quieted and dropped her head. "Good girl." Shyrae reached down and ruffled her ears then shook her head. "I didn't think it was a coincidence but it doesn't surprise me you'd only use her for your own ends. She's quite the leader of her own pack. If you trained her to be so you should be quite proud. Of course dogs choose their own masters."
She frowned for a moment then threw back her head and laughed. "That's the first time I've ever had an apology not taken. I usually don't get one but when I give it, it's taken. But I learn rather quickly so you'll not get one out of me again. Your mate however, will not. His actions brought his own punishment on himself. The only one who deserves an apology in that situation is Savryn." She smirked, "Aye captain?"

A smirk adn he left them alone, to do what they would and to assist with his crew on getting the ship completely ready for sail...and taking a pocketwatch out of his pants and marking the time.

Brows furrowing, he crossed his arms unconsciously and turned back to the strategist. The housing issue had arose, but it wasn't like he didn't expect it. "Master Koto, don't you think that is a bit petty? It's one thing to be generous enough to provide a place to sleep for your apprentice, but an entirely different issue to be threatening her with it when you're dissatisfied."
He gave a nod to his father, accepting his approval. "There will be plenty of opportunities for that. I do insist that she comes but if you stand your ground, Koto, then she will just have to sleep with me when we return." After all, the bedroom linked to his had been empty for so long anyways. He didn't like seeing things gone to waste like that. "One concern left to deal with, the most important one I think." Turning to the dragonness beside him. "Jae, do you want to go?"
