Jaden ran after the beast, calling his lightsaber back to his sides as he chased the Licker. He used minimal energey to riase his speed, he needed enough to survive the battle when he got there. As he began to catch up, he noticed the beast chaing the witch....he had to stop him, or he would turn her into acidic toast. Jaden quickly lifted his left arm up, and called to the power of the dark side, focusing his energy into a fist around the lickers throat. "Take this..," he said as he clenched his fist, releasing the famous: Force Choke.

Link was not surprised by the first opponent drawn to do battle with him in the preliminary matchups.
After all, battle was a Gamorian's whole life.

The big hulk he was pitted against was a veteran to be sure. He had an inordinate number of parrasitic Morrts attacked to his flesh and one of his tusks was broken off.
Nonetheless, his physique and massive vibro axe dwarfed Link's own stature and weapons.
Fighters on the sidelines waiting for their own matches were already set up to watch Link get cleaved in two, jeering the smaller human and placing wages on the winner.
The Gamorrian eyed up his next victim and gave a cnfident chortle. He twirled his hefty double bladed vibro-axe about likeit was a weapon a quarter its size and then pointed the weapon at Link.
The boar ran the thumb of his free hand across his own throat, an unmistakable signal of what would become of Link.

Link drew his daito, his face a mask of focused calm.
He raised the weapon high over his head, as though to strike.

The Gamorrian, seeing this, chuckled again and motioned Link forward, daring him to strike.
Link obliged.
Before the Gamorrian even realized what had happened he was struck in the skull with the force of a pneumatic hammer, a direct hit by Link.
The blow staggered the Gamorrian who shrugged it off quick enough to recieve a secound resounding blow to his chest followed in a heartbeat by another hammer blow to the head. The chest blow knocked the air from his lungs. The second head hit knocked him out completely.

He didnt even get in a single blow before the big boar was eating canvas.
The favorite was out and the crowd was stunned, Link among them.
His speed and striking power were noticibly different. He hadn't even tapped into the Force for this bout.
Was he just that much stronger? In so little time?
Or was his opponent just that much his inferior?
Either way, confidence had to be avoided. This was his first bout and he had a long way to go.
And he was certain the fights were just going to get harder.

A few days prior...

" We found your next target, but this might be the hardest to do yet. A flawless plan and it'll be a cinch, but there's no room for error. He's entering some fighting tournament on Nar Shaddaa. It seems to be on a personal interest, so I doubt it'll involve any other AA members, but this is a prime chance to get this guy. He's apparently been hanging around impossible-to-infiltrate places, and this is the best time to eliminate him without having to take down any authorties in the process. " Angel looked at the information. " I see. Well, let's see if we can come up with a plan. "

Present...

" Agh. Damn that nerf herder. Got a lucky hit on me. " a man said, walking into the nearby fresher, examining the bruise on his shoulder. As the door started to close, there was a brief change in the light, as though something behind him shot across the corridor. Looking back, he saw nothing. After a few moments in the privacy of the fresher, he came out, his wound no longer visible. Suddenly he got a call. Answering his commlink, the image of a winged sword with a halo above it appeared, and a distorted voice began to speak. " Guess what happens now? " was all that was said. Having heard about the deaths of his AA companions, the man realized what was about to happen. As soon as the message stopped, he made a run for it.

Dashing into the large crowd of combatants, he decided to attempt hiding among them. Looking around, he noticed several of them giving him odd looks. Whether it was merely noticing his squeezing past several others, or just because they thought he was one of the next combatants up, there was no way to tell. Realizing that any of them could actually be the assassin out for him, he made his way through them all again and headed out of the area.

The man had made his way away from where any of the fighters would be. There were guards on either side of him that were making sure only combatants were allowed entry beyond that point. " Something wrong, sir? " one asked. " ... No. Just needed to get away for a moment. "

At the far end of the corridor, an older man appeared near the door to one of the storage rooms. " What's that sound... OH MY GOD! " he yelled, shortly before an explosion was heard from the other side of the door. The guards took notice and ran over. Thinking that was the assassin trying to get to him, the man started to run the other way while the older man was talking to the guards.

Entering a room at the opposite end, the man suddenly felt himself being pulled up with tremendous force. He looked up, seeing a young woman with a device keeping her above the door where the wall and ceiling meet. She was staring him right in the eyes as he struggled with the cord around his neck. He knew what she wanted... his death. After a few seconds, it was over. His attempt to struggle futile, his life had ended.

Bending over so she could see beyond the door, Angel saw her Mandalorian friend still keeping the guards' attention to the bomb decoy that went off that they had managed to smuggle in. Making sure to not make any loud noise, she detattched her device and came down to the floor, putting the body against the corner and out of sight. She gave a thumbs up and closed the door.

" Like I told you the 1st time, I was just walking by and I heard a sound coming from in there. I recognized it as the sound of an explosive I've seen used before. " " But did you see anyone? " " See anyone? The door was closed until you guys came over and forced it open. Look, I need to get going. I'm late as it is. If I'm not under arrest as a suspect for this, I'd like to leave. " " ... Alright, but we need to see some ID in case we need to find you again. " " Yeah yeah, whatever. Here. " The Mandalorian gave them his fake ID. After examining it for a few seconds, the guard handed it back. " Alright, Mr. Hopper, you may go. "

A short while later, Angel walked into the transport. " About time. Take the scenic route out? " " You try sneaking in and out of a populated area without anyone or anything spotting you. Plus, it's not like vents and service shafts go straight from A to B in a single go. Anyways, let's go. We did what we came to do. " The ship started up and was soon off the planet. " So, with the ones you got and the others that died in other ways, it seems like there's not many left to go after. Still no more leads on that Mr. Browstone though. " " Since all that's left is the higher ups in the group, one of them is bound to know where he is. We'll find him one way or another. "

No longer sensing the beast, Kathleen paniced a bit and dodged completely out of the way, and almost right into Jaden. She saw the Licker punce right onto where she would've been and swore. "Damn. He can mask his presence."

She backed away some as Jaden attenpted to choke it.

With a clank the Pride of Mantell now cloaked with a forged ID settled onto one of the hundreds of landing pads in the Nar Shaddaa space port. Down its ramp a green and rusty brown saurian descended wrapped in a brown cloak of typical Tiss'shar fashion. The creature's twin gold colored eyes flicked around the bay and it idly scratched its neck.

Revak cursed to himself, the process of changing the color of his scales hadn't been very pleasant, and now he itched all over, save of course for those few untouched scales that wouldn't possibly be exposed, around the groin. Jenel said the itching would wear off in a few hours, but by then he could well have shed his skin from the constant desire to scratch at it.

Down the ramp came Calra, and while she too had been affronted with the itching blaze it certainly wasn't nearly as severe, or at least thats what Revak guess from her steady movement. But then again she was hidden beneath her newly repainted armor. The matte-black and red decorations made it a much more frightening look for her, one that Revak wouldn't be surprised if she'd decide to keep after this escapade. Behind her Jenel Olo walked down the ramp, her hair had been died a red-gold and she wore a pair of contact lenses that turned her eyes a near red in coloration, coupled with the splotches of blue along her neck and arms from some die she looked to be near-human but not completely human.

The group walked past the hangar doors as a squad of pirates descended the ramp and took up guarding positions, you never could be too careful at Nar Shaddaa.

As they came up to the registration booth for the tournament Revak wearily eyed the other contestants, there were Trandoshans, Gamorreans, Twi'lek, Rodians, Humans, and even a pair of Sulonian Tuskens. But as he scanned the group he stopped as he saw a woman at the front of the line wearing blue-grey robes spoke to the registration droid, "Para Pistola, of Domar. My weapon is a modified vibroblade."

Revak instantly recognized her from the blue arrow tattoos on her hands and the crisp nature of her speech, Darth Bellum, the Sith that they had encountered several times before, and beaten each time.

Calra hissed in her helmet as she too recognized the woman, "This might be easy if thats the best these fools can wield."

The droid sized up the human, it's photoreceptors recording her appearance for the list of competitors, "Your vibroblade, how has it been modified?"

Bellum drew her blade and set it on the counter before her, it's blade had been radically modified to lighten weight, instead of a solid center there was a triangular lattice work of light weight metal. It wasn't as strong as a normal blade, but much lighter enabling it to be used for much swifter attacks. The droid studied the weapon and nodded, "That is acceptable... Your preliminary match will begin within the hour."

It took fifteen minutes for the Rapora to make their way to the front. Finally Calra stood before the droid, a slight smile hidden behind her helmet, "I am Durak of Kronos."

The droid's photoreceptors studied Calra, "Are you Tiss'shar?"

"I am." Calra lied with a tight smile on her lips. Seeing the droid glancing downward at the killing claw she added, "People of my clan surgically modify the toe as a weapon." Calra grimaced remembering the painful process of creating the fake surgical scars.

"This is not your only weapon?" The droid asked.

Calra drew a the two blades from her side and placed them upon the counter before the droid, "These are my weapons."

The droid studied them for a moment, "Very well, it is unusual to see such a form of construction and an electricified blade, but they are within the rules of the tournament. Glancing back up it added, "Your preliminary begins two hours from now."

Revak breathed a sigh of relief as Calra sheathed her swords. He smiled at her as she stepped toward the door, "Good luck."

"Who needs luck when they have skill?" Calra answered as she stepped into the gladiatorial barracks to wait for the preliminaries to begin.

It would be a while before the Heaven's Fury had a specific destination again. The intelligence officers were still cracking down on more details about the few remaining AA members. Angel was taking advantage of the quiet time and resting comfortably in her cabin. In the training room, the Mandalorian was practicing with a vibrosword. He was going in and out of stances and performing techniques that looked as though he had been perfecting them for several years.

About 40 years ago, on an unknown planet...

" Harder! Swing harder! Battles aren't won by holding back. Show your enemies that Mandalorian might! " came the voice of the training instructor. A few meters in front of him, a teenage boy was attacking a target dummy. Though designed to fall apart after receiving a vicious enough beating, the dummy was still in one peice. The boy was tired, having been attacking relentlessly to no avail. The instructor was losing patience. " Bah... You're a disgrace to the Mandalore clans. No son of mine is a weakling, now give it everything you got! "

Some time later...

The boy fell over, collapsed from exhaustion. " Pathetic. I've seen gizka put up more of a fight than you. If you want to be leader of clan Ooka one day, you'll have to prove your mettle. You will not disgrace me or our family, understand? " The instructor walked off, displeased with the reults of the day's training. The boy struggled to get up, not finding success, as his body was too worn out from exhaustion. At barely a whisper, he said, " Someday... I will surpass you, Father. I will surpass you all, and become the next Mandalore. "

"Come on, Come on-Settle down inside my loooove, ahah! COME ON COME ON, JUMP A LITTLE HIGHER, COME ON COME ON, IF YA FEEL A LITTLE LIGHTER-"

"What the heck's gotten into you," Vincent asked his friend as they sat outside, both having a glass of ale in their hands-Vincent on the roof, Alex on the stoop.

Alex looked up at his friend with a smirk, "Heh, it's a song I had in the back of my head-Think it's got any merit?"

Vincent shook his head with a smirk, "Yeah, if you're looking to woo the hearts of all the girls on Tatooine, Mr. Coruscant Idol."

Alex just laughed, "Touche. But yeah, I saw this girl a while ago, can't remember where-She had sandy-brown hair, green eyes-Just BEAUTIFUL...It just popped into my head on the journey to Tat when I started thinkin' 'bout her."

"Oh really," Vincent said in an emotionless tone as he took a sip of his ale, both of them watching the suns of Tatooine set in the distance, his voice distant.

Alex looked up to his friend, throwing him a scoff, "You know, that's your problem Vince-You don't put much stock in anything but your 'all-powerful force'. I mean, you REALLY need to get off this rock and go out there, find a girl, settle down, have a couple of rugrats-"

"No thanks," Vincent replied calmly, never taking his eye's of the sun, "That sort of thing just doesn't interest me. Love leads to-"

"What-The Dark Side? Jeesh, you put too much stock into the crap the Jedi teach-Love is a natural thing, I mean, hell, even the Jedi were allowed to marry and have children."

"Yeah, well I'm not that kind of guy," Vincent replied calmly, "I just want to live out my existence in peace-Be it here, or some other planet-It doesn't matter."

"But only after you get your 'revenge', am I right?" Alex looked up to his friend again, "That isn't part of the Jedi Code, Vince-" Vincent didn't respond, and Alex sighed, looking back to the Sunset, "And here I was just starting to believe that you weren't even human..." The two continued watching the sunset-Airia sleeping on the dunes behind his home...

[Okay. I'm not waiting for Tantis anymore. Yell at me if you REALLY want to.]

Fina decided she'd rather not wait, and so she stood up and left the room. After a moment more of thought about what was on the Datacube, she looked over to Svens office, and then headed toward it. Approaching it and opening the door with a slight wave of her hand, using the force to activate the mechanism and cause the door to slide up for her, she walked into the room, letting the door close behind her. She walked in just in time for Sven to ask what he was watching, then comment about some kind of sith. "The sith are our enemies as well as the Jedi's, Sir." She started. "He has basically set up a trap for the sith, I believe, and if we can possibly capture this sith, then we could get information about their next moves, or perhaps their bases. Also, if possible, we could recruit this Jedi to our cause. It might just be worth our time..."

The commander looked over and nodded. "Sound advice. You of course know that if we capture this Sith, we can not set him free. Ever. He will return to his Masters, and they will find us. And, though I trust immensely in both of you, I wouldn't quite compare you to Darth Krayt."

The licker welled up another gallon of acid in its throat, and began to spit it. Yet, it could not. A constraint upon its neck, still weak due to its lack of focus, but it was there. The licker's strength still won out, but it was annoying beyond compare. Turning to the brat, it changed its course to charge at it. Sure it still felt the tugs of the grip; it was getting extremely angry, however. The boy had to die.

Now that the girl was unbothered, she turned just in time to notice it going for Jaden. She snarled. "Pay attention to me, you great pile of Sithspit."

She sliced off a large tree with her saber, then Force-pushed it and all of its branches down onto the Licker. As soon as the tree began falling, she then focused a Force Push down onto the beast to keep it in place to be crushed.

Jaden smiled...success. He let go of the Licker, this move was a false hope. He knew he should go back to what he started not to long agon: Beast Control. But this time not truly in the act of control, but in the act of tireing th creature. Jaden went into the trees silent, and focused onto the mind of the Licker, influencing rest onto. Wispering words that it would understand, making them soothing, relaxing, yet also manipulating. He influenced his mind to think tired, think of giving it a break....starting with just trying to slow down the heart beat.

(Kinda need to edit that. The Licker is staring at you. You can't just silently walk away.)
(Well, seeing as a bunch of trees just fell on him, I think he is not staring at me right now, thats why. xd ))
