*kaiori spun around on her heels, her hair whipped behind her, her eyes narrowed in anger, her red lips pulled up in a snarl showing her fangs, she looked like a wild cat ready to pounce and shred her prey*

Irvine smirked. This was exactly what he had hoped for.
"So...what are you waiting for?"
His crimson on black eyes twinkled though they only masked what Irvine really had planned. He was hoping it would work.

*kaiori shot forwards, she slashed her red claws at his chest and neck trying to rip him into scraps, her eyes had a dangerous haze to them, her fangs snapped at his collar bone trying to sink into his skin*

Irvine didn't even try to defend himself. Kaiori's claws hit their marks dead on. Blood spewed forth from his chest and even more blood trickled downwards from his neck. As Kaiori sank her teeth into Irvine's skin, Irvine just smirked. He fell backwards with her on top. He slowly caressed her cheek with the back of his hand in a loving way.
"Ah...Kaiori...once again you have unwittingly helped me...you've already drained some of me...now all I must do is wait for this blood to leave me and it will all end..."

*kaiori growled and sat up, she held a clawed hand just above his face, her eyes narrowed and she spat out* what the hell do you mean !*her growl rumbling each word*

He took a deep, raspy breath of air. Life was already starting to fade away. He looked up into her eyes, his eyes now their normal baby blues.
"I've grown tired of this life of blood shed...I did not, however, want to die in combat nor commit suicide. With you, I saw my ticket...and took it...Once again you've helped me...heh...I never thought I'd say 'I'm sorry', but...I am...I am sorry..."

*kaiori's eyes soften and her clawed hand lowers, her heart throbbed slightly, her mask of cold and emotionless fell away* w-what ! *her voice returned to kaiori's normal sweet tone, this pushing her over the edge for the moment* what are you crazy ! *her hands flew up in the air to make her point, she started to ruffle through her pack like mad for healing potions*

Irvine smiled up at Kai. She was her usual self again. This, he hadn't planned for, though was happy it happened. He raised a hand.
"Leave it be...it's better this way..."
He smiled up at her again. He lifted his hand to her cheek and brushed it once more.
"Your skin is so soft...just like your soul...never change Kaiori...never change like me..."

*kaiori looked at him* stop it this is silly ! *she pulled out a potion which was a warm orange color, she splashed a few drops on each wound, it would burn at first and if all went well it would heal the wound closed before you could snap your fingers, she then put a pinkish potion to his lips* drink it helps with blood loss..*her eyes sadden.. it would be his choice to drink*

*Than had flown in some time ago, quietly seeking a place to be for a while. He'd come to enid cause that was where he'd first met 9. He cautiously walks through the streets*

Looking at her and watching her eyes sadden made Irvine have second thoughts. With a sigh, he opened his mouth and began drinking the potion. The liquid seared the back of his throat however, as soon as it had left his throat it went into his blood stream. He could feel himself regain strength. Strength enough to regnerate his wounds which he did without second thought. He took the glass away from his mouth and set it down beside Kai. He averted his gaze from her.
"Perhaps what I did was wrong...I'm sorry for how I acted..."

..it's okay..but you can't just give up..*she almost laughed at herself..she had no right to talk..after giving up on herself without a thought..but then again ..who really cared that she had ?..she shook her head and gave him a soft smile*... just rest for now

Irvine slowly sat up. He looked Kaiori straight in the eyes. His baby blue eyes held a sad, sorrowful look. He brushed her cheek again. He didn't smile. He didn't smirk. He didn't frown. Infact, he showed no expression except for what his eyes told her. He stopped brushing his hand across her cheek and just held it there.
"Never change Kaiori. Promise me. Promise me to never change. But before you can do that, promise yourself. Do not allow yourself to become what I have become....I despise myself for it and you will too. I don't want to see that happen...not to you...and I'm sure so many others don't want it either...You have to promise yourself and then me that you'll never change as long as you know who you really are."

*kaiori put her hand over his and let the first tears she had cried after so long flow down her cheeks*...I-I can't *she moves back*..you don't understand...no one really cares *she said with a sad smile* I love them all very much..but I know they don't care..not anymore..they all gave up..... *she stands and sobs softly into her hands as she started down the street, her heart shattered by friends who gave up or died*
