Keilantra nodded."So....did people not like your wings?"People always hated her wings...except her parents.They didn't care if she had them, her dad always told her not to care what other people think.But she couldn't stand the teasing, so....she hid them.

The others of her kind already didn't like me since the day I was born and it would have only made things worse if they saw I had wings. So my mother cut them off while I slept." she said, a hint of saddness in her voice.

"Uh....can I show you something?"She asked Eri.She figured since Eri had wings she wouldn't care that she had them too.But hers looked...different.She wasn't quite sure how big hers were since she had been hidding them for years.But one night...some one did something...

She blinked. "Show me what?" Eri asked. Her curiousity was getting the best of her. "I wanna see! Show me, Show me!" she said almost like a chant.

Keilantra chuckled hearing Eri's chant."Down dog down!"She patted Eri's head, just to mess with her.She put her hand over her locket and a light seeped through her fingers.Suddenly green feather like wings appeared.They were only to her shoulder and were small for wings.'I guess since my dad was only one sixth.....'She looked over her shoulder at them and touched them with her fingers lightly.

She gave an annoyed look. "Not a dog." she said. Then she noticed the odd glow come from Keila's locket. Her eyes grew wide as two green wings appeared on her friend's back. "Wow..." was all she could say.

"Hah...didn't even think it would work..."She started turning in the water trying to look at her wings untill she reliezed she looked like a dog chasing its tail.She then looked at your wings."How big do they get?"

"Not sure. They were alittle bit bigger than this before they were cut off. I get them from my father. I'm not sure how big his are." Eri grew silent after mentioning her father. Truth be told she had never met her father. All she knew was what her mother had told her about him, which wasn't much.

"I get them from my father too...."Trying to change the subject she turned the music back up.And ran over to the rock climbing up them and started dancing again.

Eri smiled. "We have alot in common. Its kind of like we're twins." She climbed up on the rocks and started dancing next to you.

Ryuu shot one final shot at the stones and looked around as he sat down. Ryuu was pretty sure he just saw a girl with wings but he shook it out of his mind. He remained silent as he watched. (oh tommarrow i'm going to palm springs soo i'll be back in 2 days and this will be my last posting for a few days.)

Keilantra laughed."Twins? We don't exactly look like it, but I guess your right."She continued dancing next to you and the song changed.It was still upbeat but wasn't as fast.

Eri's ears twitched. she looked around but saw nothing.Only water, sand and a few rocks greeted her eyes. "Did you hear something?" she asked Keila.

Keilantra moved her ears around."Yea...."She didn't see anything but went to investigate.She jumped down from the rocks and into the water.She looked around and found a bunch of rocks.She grabbed one and just stared at it."Huh...."

Eri stopped dancing and sat down on the edge of the rocks. She looked out at the ocean and sighed. She remembered how she use to look out at the ocean from her window back at home. Oh how she longed to feel the crisp ocean air blow through her hair, to be able to swim in the deep blue waters.Eri had done many things here she wouldn't normally have done back at home. She wanted freedom so bad and now that she had it, Eri felt empty.
