"He's very weak," Alex said, "I think I need to give him a little transfusion. My blood is highly regenerative, so it could give him a bit of a energy until we can get him some food. Which, by the way," Alex said as he motioned to Terry, who cracked her knuckles and turned around, heading into the forest before Alex finished.

Alex pulled out one of his small kodachi's on his lower back and cut first a small slit in the man's wrist and then his own, placing the cuts against each other so that his blood would flow into the man's cut. Alex's blood was one of the things that let him regenerate and keep his energy up for long periods. Once it was in the man's blood system, it would allow his body to recooperated for a small time and give him enough energy to get up and eat and drink.

It didn't take long for both Alex's cut and the man's to heal, Alex's blood doing it's work well. He lifted the man's head up and tried to wake him again by cracking off a small crystal of smelling salts and holding beneath his nose.

Several minutes passed before he stirred again. His eyes blinked open, finally, and focused on the man who had helped him. Those silver orbs shown dully, as if his mind where empty. They shifted to the sky for a few seconds and he released a small sigh, closing his eyes. He opened them again and looked back to his benefactor, this time his eyes a little brighter. Z hoped his gratitude shown through strong enough that the man could see it, because he couldn't talk. He hadn't spoken a single word since the Final Battle. It wasn't that he'd taken a vow, or that his vocal cords where damaged. He just felt that nothing he might say was important enough to articulate.

Alex was abou to say something when Terry burst through the trees, wreslting with a bear. She had it pinned in a a few moments, sitting on top the snarling beast. "Playing with your food?" Kira said with a smirk as she wrapped and unwrapped her fingers around her sword hilt.

"Oh cut the cat jokes," Terry said, her enlarged canines and slit pupils flashing. "This animal thought he would try and take my kill from me. Too bad for him I'm not in the mood for play." Terry brought her elbow down on the bear's neck, snapping, causing the bear to stop struggling. She then walked back into the forest and came out with a large deer over her shoulder, which she threw on top of the bear. "Light'em up," Terry said to Trevian as she went to the lake to wash the blood off her hands, her claws becoming nails again as he canines also shrunk and her pupils rounded out.

Trevian nodded and inhaled, breathing out fire that cooked the two beast quickly, stopping before he burned them. Kira walked over to the cooked meat and sliced off a chunk in a flash, jabbing her blade into the chunk before it hit the ground. She walked over to Alex and he slide the meat off her sword.

"Here," he said to the man aa he handed him the meat, "Eat some of this, it will help you get some nutrients in you, then you can rest while we take you to a place where you can recooperate."

"Meh. I'll be fine. Just need to rest a bit. Used a lot of magic, so a little rest will do me good." Derrek said, smiling slightly. Closing his eyes and leaning back in his chair, he said "I'm not sure there's much here to wander across unwittingly. All the occupied rooms are pretty clearly indicated and usually Wizard Locked if something's happening in it. Though, at the moment, I highly doubt Draeken's in any shape to do anything one would rather not see."
Sparkei inclined his head only slightly after hearing what the man said. That would explain the sudden drop of magical energy...he thought to himself as he surveyed the room, then something came to his mind, "I forgot to introduce myself! My name's Sparkei, and I'm pretty much a new member around here...but I'm going stir-crazy, so I'm gonna go look around." He said with a fanged smile. And with a wag of his tail he turned and walked to the door, his feline ears twitched as he scratched one of them, then he opened the door and left, looking for some other people. Upon closing the door he found that the vastness of the mansion would quickly lead to Sparkei getting lost, but with such a powerful owner and members of the house...he was sure he'd be found again....of course he was banking on the fact that they would want to go searching for him if he got lost. He grinned nervously and began to head deaper into the mansion, not intent on getting lost, but tossing the idea around in his head just for kicks.

He started when the woman tumbled out of the trees, wrestling the bear. He lept to his feet, his right hand going to his left hip, where there used to be a sword. His eyes widened more when he remembered he had had to sell it for food about a month ago. He looked wildly about him, confused, unsure of what was going on.

When the bear was finally dead he seemed to relax, but only slightly. He was still very tense and his guard high. He settled there on his haunches, a small distance from the others. He glanced to his horse, thankful the beast was still alive. It had been a gift from a friend a long time ago. He was loath to loose it.

Z's stomache rumbled loudly as the food cooked. He tried to remember the last time he had had warm meal. And failed miserably. He could hardly remember the last three days, much less when he'd last eaten. He looked up to the man who had revived him, accepting the meat with some hesitation. He took a small, tentative bite, tasting it for poisons. He knew it was clean, though. He'd been watching them intently as they prepared the meal, they hadn't had a chance to poison the meat. He devoured it quickly, his hunger ravenous.

Once the food was gone he examined the others in more detail, his mind now almost fully aware. He studied the catwoman the most, though. He had seen some strange things, more bizarre than one could imagine even in ones wildest dreams. So it wasn't strange that she should be part cat, part woman. He was just trying to figure out her strangths, weaknesses, studying her as a potential threat. They all where, in fact, but he had seen her in action, and one had been kind enough to help him.

He blinked and looked to the forest, then lowered his eyes to the ground just before him with a small sigh. He pulled his feet out from under him and sat, crossing his legs in front him. His eyes shifted about nervously, his fingers fidgeting with a nearby twig. He wondered who these people where, where they came from, and why they where here.

Here? Where was "here", exactling? He had no idea where he was. He looked up to Alex, his exression curious and confused.

The four all picked up on Z's nervousness in their own way, Kira the first to act on it. "I suppose you proably want to know who we are right?" She said as she sat down cross-legged in front of Z. "Well my name is Kira Theois, the young man who helped you is Alexander Tolari, the fiesty woman who got you your food it Tara Jacobs, and the man who cooked your meal is Trevian of Shiv. We've talen to calling ourselves the Rising Suns, no real reason i guess, we just like the sound," Kira mused as she fiddled with her hair, untying the thread that held it in a long ponytail, letting it loose.

"We've come here to see if any members of the Black company are here, seeing as the dojo is, quite literally, dust, I thought Dreaken's manshion might be a good place to check. You see, I was a member of the Black company in my youth, up until shortly after I became an adult actually. Then I took a leave to go see and do things I did not have time for while in the BC's service. Have you seen anyone in the forest besides us? I know we are rather close to the castle, at least by our travel time, so I would imagen at least a few people wander out this far."

Aethi-Naeh
Aethi looked at Ari without concern. "He wont hurt me. I'm sure of it. Even if he did, I am confidant that I could defend myself. You can have yourself and everyone else in the mansion accompany me just in case if you like, but I would go in alone and speak with him. He is my father after all." It still felt awkward admitting that outloud to Ari and Draeken, given the families history with Truinthil.

Aria nodded and got outta bed and took her hand. "I'd rather come with you." She smiled. She didnt care who was Aethi's father she loved him all the same.

He looked up when Kira approached. His expression remained a perfect blank while she spoke, never blinking. He kept those silver orbs locked on her eyes, starring with such intensity that it was almsot as if he where trying to read her very soul. After she had stopped talking, he looked to the others, studying them with a similar intensity.

A moment later he looked back to Kira and shook his head gently in responce to her question. He hadn't seen anyone else out here. He hadn't had the chance. He passed out before he saw anyone.

He examined his surroundings once more, wondering where this Dreaken's masion was. He had idea what the dojo she referred to was, either. He wasn't really a Company member, but he was searching them out to join.

He soon picked up that twig he'd been playing with, getting an idea. He began to stratch in the mood between him and Kira. When he pulled his hand away, he had scratched a "Z" in the ground. He looked back to Kira and nodded toward the letter, indicating that was what he should be called.

"I'll go too, but I'll let you talk to him, Aethi." Without waiting, he stepped into the shadows and was gone. Likely he was already waiting just outside Truinthil's room.

Nodding, Aethi turned to step into the shadows as well. "Alright then. Let's get this over with." She took a deep breath and steadied herself for her first encounter with her father in almost a year. Likely he would be upset with her for her choice of allegience. She wouldnt care, however. She stepped into the shadows.

Aria vanished and reappeared in the shadows outside of Truinthil's door, she looked to Aethi and Her father to see what they would do.

Draeken remained still and silent leaning against the wall opposite the door to the room. His eye was closed and he looked ready to burst into the room to kill Truinthil if needed.

Aethi only glanced at Draeken before opening the door while at the same time, nullifying the spell around the room that Phia had put there. She walked inside and looked around a bit. "Truinthil?...Father?"

Aria stayed outside with her father, she had a feeling that she might need to try and restrain him at least. She stood in front of him and smiled.

Truinthil walked from the inner part of the bedroom, a smile on his face. "Aethi-Naeh! I have been wondering if you were still around here at all. Oh and is that Aria outside? You know, you two do make a cute couple, though I'm sure you would rather not hear that from me. Heh. And Draeken's outside too I see. Well, he doesnt have to come in if he doesnt want to." Still smiling, and being unusually cheerful, Truinthil sat at the goodly sized table in the middle of the room and waved his hand, summoning a bottle of wine that had likely been in the inner bedroom just a moment before. "Come! Sit and drink with me. It's been a while and we should catch up a bit. Either that or just talk. How bout it?" With another wave he summoned up two wine glasses and began filling them.

Aethi blinked and looked at the wine in confusion. He was being so...Nice. Not cold and indifferent, but truly nice. This was unlike him completely. "Father? Are you alright? You're acting a bit...different." She was feeling a bit uneasy. Was he setting her up for an attack? Trying to soften her up so that he could strike when she least expected and begin tearing apart the mansion from the inside out? Nervously, she sat down and took a glass of wine, smelling it breifly as if she knew a lot about the various types and years of wine. She could smell nothing, however, other than wine. No poison at all. She carefully took a small sip to taste, then in surprise swallowed. Unless he had somehow had the ability to create an odorless, tasteless poison from thin air, it was clean wine. What is he up to? she though uncertainly to herself.
