Kiera looked to him a little seriously although still had a smile. "I know it's selfish of me to be saying this, because I know how much you value being part of a team effort. But it's true, I just want to live my life making you happy. If you're happy, then I am. So it all works out fine that way. I no longer want it to be about me most of the time. I never liked that." She brushed back his hair gently and kissed his forehead. "I'm so glad that you came into my life."

He nodded, "It makes everything in the past worth it. Well... before the three year skip thing, i really did not like to see you in that prizen." he chukkled, "But you know what i mean." He looked to her Warmly, "I think the battles almost done... asher will be showing back up soon..." He closed his eyes in his little world again, "you are everything for me too love." he whispered as if he didn't say that already.

Kiera rested her head against his and they just stayed like that for a few minutes. Kiera would have stayed like that the whole night if she could have. But soon enough, Asher appeared in the room, predicting that this was the place they would have come back to. She did enter with caution of course, but as she finally entered she just saw Kiera and Shortstraw curled into each other like that and really couldn't help but smile. She then wondered if they had fallen asleep like that. She got a different angle and just saw that they were just bathing in each others company. She then got impatient and eventually cleared her throat. "I seriously don't know how you two can stay like that for so long."

*Shortstraw spoke, "it's called being comforatable. Try it sometime, go hug Mai or somthing." He chukkled but didn't move, " How did it go anyways? All is good?"

Asher nodded. "It all went fine. I didn't really need to be there, I just watched them take it out. Dante showed off in front of Crescent although that didn't seem to do much but make her spite him more. Although it was pretty funny, I guess. And I had an all right meal." Asher looked to Kiera's contented face then looked to Mai. "But the dog stinks." She whined. "I wouldn't associate myself with such a vulgar breed."

*Shortstraw smerked holding backa chukkle, "Well you could always go with donte. Go ahead, teliport to him and give him a big ol hug. I'm srue he will be freaked out." He chukkled and mumbled, "you can join if you wish Asher, i don't think you take much room." He teased.

Asher shuddered a little. "Ew. No. I don't like to be embraced. OR hugged for that matter. Just general touching is a no-no for me." Mai was dead asleep on the floor anyway. She then grinned. "I mean really you could have used a more subtle way of telling me to go away." She chuckled and moved over to the window.

*Shortstraw chukkled, "Actully i really did need you to go with them. But it was usful." He then smerked, "no touchy rule huh... funny i touch you all the time..." he pulsed, "okay that sounded alittle wrong... oh well. So tell me would you hug me?" He held back a laugh.

Asher grumbled a little and licked her paw. "About as reluctantly as a person would hug a bear." She chuckled at her answer. "I thought Asher was supposed to be the pervert here." Kiera said tiredly. Asher pulled a face. "I'm a pervert? Since when?"

*Shortstraw chukkled, "oh come on, i was just wanted a hug asher. Bear or no bear, you love me and you know it." he chukkled and moved lightly, "i know your getting tired Keria. Go ahead and sleep, i'm here." He nuzzled her and gave another chukkled, "i didn't know you where a pervert either untill now." He chukkled.

Asher rolled her eyes and dipped her head lower. "And why exactly am I a pervert? Do you two talk about me when I'm not around?" Kiera moved slowly to lie down in Shortstraw's lap, yawning. "You were telling me to do underwear modelling." Asher started coughing and looked out of the window. "I did not." "Did so." Asher's eyes thinned. "You said you wouldn't tell anyone." "I can't keep something like that from Shortstraw." "It was for the benefit of the public!" She sighed. "It doesn't matter now anyway because he probably told you not to do that." "Pretty much." Kiera yawned again and shut her eyes.

*Shortstraw smiled, "No hard feelings Asher." he looked to her and patted the side of the bed, "sure you dont wanna come alittle closer though?" He chukkled, "it's not like i can hurt you mis almighty. Let loose alittle. Since you have to be up all the time anywyas." he loked how she was going to fall asleep in his arms, he felt spechal now, and warm.*

Asher looked over to Shortstraw with a skeptical smiled before she sighed. "I'll just move again when you've fallen asleep." She jumped off the windowsill, hopped onto the end of the bed and stretched. Asher looked to Kiera who was almost clutched to Shortstraws leg. "I think she's already asleep." When no response came, Asher was sure of it. She looked at her for a minute or two, before she snapped out of it and stretched again.

*Shortstraw smiled as asher laid down and he used his free hand to lightly pet her, meanwhile he closed his eyes, "I have a feeling theres going to be alot of change soon, and by that i think maybe it will be good change. And as me and keria go on and on i relized, you will be there thick and thin with us." he looked to her witha smile, "so i figured instead of ruling you out, since you can't sleep, i could at least confert you for a little while untill i pass out." He smiled.

Asher sighed and fluffed up her fur a little. "I hope you're right about all that, Shortstraw. I really hope you're right. And yes, you're correct. I will be here all the time for you two. Even if I get alone better with you than I do with her." She purred a little. "Thank you, Shortstraw."
