YOU HAVE MY SWORD/DAGGER - IN YOUR FACE. With the cloud of dirt rapidly setting, Canon risked trying her previous tactic one more time. This time the mannequin was ready for her. As she slipped past it, it whirled and whacked her with the back of its hand. Thankfully the blow sent her stumbling well out of its range, giving Canon enough time to regain her feet. She moved to keep the collapsed pit of her fort between them, as she measured the mannequin up. That blow had hurt! Canon grinned. She really was going to need fight really well to defeat this opponent! Again, no movement and the arrows were starting to splinter in the body of the doll as she hit them over and over again.

YOU HAVE MY SWORD/DAGGER - IN YOUR FACE. Well, using the trees to her advantage had really helped last time. Canon decided to try it again. She beamed at the mannequin, then bolted away into the forest. The mannequin came hot on her heels, slowly gaining ground with its longer strides. Trees whipped past to the left and right. As she passed one, Canon hooked her tail around the tree, causing her to swing around the trunk. Like a striking snake, the dagger bit into the mannequin as it tried to slow to follow her. The weight of her body was enough to knock the mannequin off balance, allowing Canon to regain her own and dash away again. She notched her last arrow. Make it count Amphi, Make it count as she took a deep breath.
"Its the end."
She let the arrow fly, knocking the Mannequin out, watching it crumple 50 feet from her. Wiping her brow and grinning.
Not a damage to her fort at all either.

The chase continued, Canon using her smaller stature to easily weave her way through the tangle of tree limbs that the mannequin had to bodily shove its way through. She managed to slash it shallowly while it was preoccupied. YOU HAVE MY SWORD/DAGGER - IN YOUR FACE. The mannequin was fighting the entangling branches more than it was fighting Canon! She was whittling it down much like she had the last one, but she could definitely see that it was growing more and more ragged. Its reaction time was slowing, too. Canon actually managed to knock the thing off balance by whipping a particularly bendy branch into its featureless face. She took the opportunity to get in a few quick cuts before dancing out of range once more. As Canon was attempting to dart under its guard again while it was busy struggling with branches, it lashed out at her with a leg. A tree trunk ended her impromptu flight, forcing the air from her lungs. Gasping for breath, Canon inwardly chided herself for getting too clever with the mannequin. It might be low on health, but it could still hit strong! It seemed unusually alert, as it rapidly countered every attempt she made to get in its defenses. She was too quick to let it catch her, though. They were at an impasse. Last day. So close to going home and resting. Just one more thing to get through, one more face off with the mannequins that looked a little too much like the children of her species. One more day to be incredibly uncomfortable with attacking it, and one more day of fighting for her life. The moment they were dismissed to make their defenses she was planning out what to use, and the spot she chose thankfully supplied everything she wanted.
The vines from earlier that helped her so much with trapping the mannequin, and the sticks that she had used to fend it off the first time. Alas there was no beehive, but...at least she had a decent fort built in the end.

It narrowly missed hitting her, and she had to dodge and weave to avoid being caught. The short impasse had allowed her to regain her breath from being slammed into the tree. As she resumed circling, she wondered if she should try leading it on another chase. YOU HAVE MY SWORD/DAGGER - IN YOUR FACE.Her choice was interrupted by the mannequin charging her! Taken by surprise, Canon couldn't dodge quickly enough to avoid being slammed into. She didn't loose her wits completely, though. She managed to get a counter-slash into its torso, leaving a nice straight gouge. She landed flat on her back in the dirt, with the mannequin looming above her!
