Faust suddenly looked up and flailed around.
"Oh, my word! It's a Speckled Brizzle-Bak! I hope you'll pardon the inconvenience, but I really must chase it! It's no invisible pink unicorn by ANY standard, but a speckled brizzle-bak will make quite the specimen, yes indeed!"
He launched off towards the brizzle-bak, which an uninformed outsider might mistake for a dandelion flying by in the breeze.
((This is just my way of writing Faust out for now. It was bugging me that he was here, but not messing anything up. It simply didn't make sense. I may join up with Lenore later, assuming I can come up with a decent reason why she'd join up. Maybe with Walpurgis. I don't know why there, either.))

Felix smiled at the Eevee. 'Well that means yo have a trainer now. She seems like a nice person, so I'm sure she'll take good care of you.' He purred and nuzzled the Eevee in a comforting way.

The scent of the human's food wafted through the area tickling the sensitive nose of the Raikou. Lifting his head the legendary took a deep breath. What ever they were having smelled good to the thunder pokemon. Human food always seemed better then what he could find, maybe it was because he always stole it. Paws pushing one in front of the other, the pokemon moved from his current location, it was time to steal himself a meal, and possible play some shocking pranks upon the owners of it.
Pleased with himself the Raikou's tail gave a flick, causing a bolt of lighting jumping from him to a near by tree. Even if there were no clouds in the sky a storm was rolling in for these unexpecting trainers. His legs moved faster, however as he approached the group he slowed his pace. It was time to formulate a plan. Perhaps this time he'll try to get close to them, shock them then steal their food.
Yes, that is what he'd do. Taking a step out of his hiding spot the thunder pokemon approached the edge of the lake. Quite a bit aways away from the group he reached the lake and took a long drink of water from it his ears drawn back as he did so. Mouth dry he was in need of a good drink from the lake. The Raikou's tail gave another flick causing yet another bolt of lighting to fly from it.

Oki's ears perked up at the unexpected sound of lightning. It was not at all the right weather for it, so the Zoruark expected that meant a pokemon was producing the electricity. Sure enough, lightning stuck again, except it appeared to be shooting up instead of down. Only a pokemon could do that. And the bolt was fairly big, too. He trotted over to his trainer, hovering near her protectively as he watched for the source of the lightning. When a Raikou stepped into view, Oki's ears went back, but he didn't budge. He watched the legendary intently to figure out if it meant them harm.

'Well, she did have nice food, and she seemed very calm. I'm sure it will be fine,' Eevee said. She leaned into Felix, cuddling back.
Shina put her bowl with the dishes to be washed and thought for a minute. "Rei. Yes, I think that will work. Hey little one, how does that sound for a name?" Shina fished out another bit of food. "Re~ei!"
The newly named Rei was distracted from her new friend by the offer of food. She quickly took it an ate it, allowing the human to pet her. Rei. It would work as a name. Finishing her treat, she squirmed away and turned back to her new friend. 'I have a new name now! Did you hear?'

Chiyo looked happy. So do I, she thought. A new name, a new life... Then she too looked toward the horizon. She felt the electricity in the air that wasn't her own. What WAS that?

'Yes, I heard!' Felix said enthusiastically to the newly named Eevee. 'Rei is a nice name. It's nice to meet you, Rei! My trainer named me Felix.'
Anise herad Felix meowing and looked around to find her pokemon. She smiled when she saw him making friends with the newly-caught Eevee. The pokemon didn't seem worried about being caught, but if she was, maybe Felix could set her mind at ease.

The thundering of hooves announced the re-entry of a certain blue-haired trainer. Although both trainer and pokemon looked to be tired, neither of them appeared to be injured. At the edge of the party, Koorie pulled sharply on Ares' horn and turned him from the group before pulling once more to bring him to a halt.
With a snort and the stamping of his hooved feet, Ares pulled up to a stop while his tails whipped around. The large pokemon respected his trainer and they had a mutual understanding that he did not do well in large groups. His ice blue eyes locked with the deep red ones of his trainer.
"You deserve a rest, Ares." A ghost of a smile came over Koorie's lips as she pulled a pokeball out and withdrew her tauros. Running a hand through her hair, she walked into the camp realizing she missed out on dinner; well, splendid. Oh well, her own damn fault.
It didn't take her long to locate Shina and she walked up over to the other trainer. "Do you need some help with the clean up...."

Shina looked up from giving the pot of berries intended for dessert a stir. "Oh, hello Koorie. And thank you, but no. We have a rotating schedule of duties, and already have several people assigned to clean-up. Have you eaten? Most of tonight's entree has been eaten already, but I do have a stash of non-perishables you could nibble from. And the berries here will be ready soon, if you want some," Shina offered.
Rei was distracted from her new friend Felix by the sudden appearance of the Tauros. A bit spooked, she darted back to Shina's side, since the human had been calm and safe last time things got loud.

"Thank you for the offer, but it was my own fault for missing dinner. I should have some crackers in my bag for just the occasion though." The crackers were a lie, but she had no intention of taking the non-perishable foods. If an emergency came up, those would need to be used and she would feel quite guilty if she was the cause behind a shortage.
The sudden pokemon darting behind Shina caught Koorie's attention and she watched the pokemon with a silent, calm stare. She didn't say anything and made no movement towards the pokemon, already recognizing the fear and knowing she didn't need to add to it.
Turning her attention back to Shina, Koorie gave a very faint smile. "The berries sound like they're going to be quite nice."

"Well, if you are sure," Shina conceded. "It's still plenty light to go fishing if you like, and the fires will burn most of the night, so feel free to go catch yourself some dinner if you change your mind."
Shina dropped a hand down and stroked a soothing hand over the pale Eevee. "This is Rei. I just caught her not fifteen minutes ago," Shina told Koorie.
Rei cringed at the hand coming towards her, then started pushing up into it as she realized how nice the stroking felt.

"Rei, hm?" Koorie felt a very small smile tug at her lips. "She seems to have already started to trust you. Impressive for one that was caught so soon." Her mind wandered to her only other pokemon, Miu, who had as many trust issues as her own trainer. What had brought them together was their mutual distrust of other people and the fact that Koorie hadn't pushed herself on the small vulpix.

"She seems a trusting sort. She came right up to me when I offered food. Perhaps she hasn't seen many humans," Shina mused as she petted the pokemon. She smiled wryly. "I suppose her trusting nature is proof that she wasn't part of the Eevee swarm a while back. Those ones were all at least a little odd, from what I heard through the grapevine."

"An eevee swarm?" Koorie glanced at Rie ones more before fixing her cool gaze on Shina. "I hadn't heard anything about that incident. What do you mean by 'odd'?"

"Oh, it was a Team Rocket plot a while back. They were experimenting on Eevee, and word got out that there was an Eevee swarm. People flocked to Motterossa to see the swarm, only to find out it was a trap. The assembled trainers fought back, and Team Rocket eventually was defeated. I think only about four Eevee or Eevelutions were actually captured," Shina said, recalling the details from her memory. "And the Espeon comes to mind, it was a little soldier, who was very crisp and military."
