(Exp gained: 57))
The battle would finally reach it's conclusion, and it was one that seemed to come across only with Jasmine's help as the Tympole was lay out flat on his back. His eyes were closed ....as he simply lay on his back. It was hard to think that he went from winning the fight to be laid out on his back ...as his eyes spin with his own confusion as he faints.

The Sunkern's eyes seemed to blaze with that look on their faces. They had written him off as an easy win ....as something that they didn't even have to think about once. Anger sparked through the pokemon's body as he started to glow .....with a dark white light. Though this wasn't evolution as the light started to form on the leaves above his head.
He wasn't going to be written off, and he wasn't going to simply lay down and be walked upon. His eyes glaring daggers as he would hop once to send the ball of light flying forward as he counter-attack with absorb.
"Sunkern ...kern ..sun."
((Bite this))
He declares loudly.

The earth suddenly rumbled as the Onix began to growl. Like an explosion Genn's body flew free from it's coiled position. Bellowing like a maniac the Onix flung himself at the Skarmory in a very direct Tackle. He hadn't gone crazy, nor was he angry about losing, he was just getting impatient. This battle was starting to become boring, the Skarmory needed to add some sort of twist!

((A 1? Ouch, meet Mr.Worse-Case-Scenario...well, worse case without a remake of "Night of the Living Dead "...but with Aerodactyl))
As the prehistoric terrors foot came down upon the amber, it released a sudden bright glow. At first the glow was the same shade as the Amber itself, a shinning light amidst the darkness beneath their opponents claws. Soon however, it joined the darkness. The Amber light became twisted, smokey, turning a blackish purple which began to fill in the missing pieces of the skeleton.
Smoke wrapped around the skeleton, solidifying to form taunt, rocky skin. A tongue formed into the creatures mouth, hanging loose as thick green saliva poured out from it's mouth. Yes, there was something wrong about this Aerodactyl even with flesh upon it's bones. The Pokemon's eyes still glowed yellow, it's saliva too seemed to hold a radiance, and it's skin was a dark, misty purple. At the center of it's chest was a blackened chunk of Amber.
This was an Aerodactyle like no other, and Victoria was right in it's sights. Fear certainly wasn't enough anymore though. It not only had teeth now, but the muscles and organs necessary to make use of them!
In the next instant Victoria would find the Aerodactyl charging straight at them, maw open wide with the intent of snapping down on anything in it's path with a powerful BITE!

( 6 - 3 ) + ( 5 - 7 ) = 1 / 2 = .5
So...0DMG? Or shall we go with .5?
Impromptu would take that quite literally, as he bit down on the orb with a smirk. His teeth came together like a bear trap, and maybe the Sunkern was lucky he wasn't in-between his jaws. Or maybe the pup was just showing off, either worked.
He growled once more as he opened his mouth, just like the Sunkern had gone and countered he decided to run the risk too, gearing up for another vicious Bite attack.

">You will pass no other way!<" The Chikorita called back, hopping back as two of the pearl like buds encircling her neck lengthened into powerful vines. Though she had begun the battle much in the way of a swordsmen, she fully understood the use behind keeping ones enemy at a distance.
The first of the whips snapped in the air, a warning crack as the second one went forward to strike out at the Nidoran. The first Vine Whip would soon follow suit, the two working in tandem in an effort to catch the poison-type in at least one strike.

((Yes, you do.))The boy would soon be forced to realize there were far too many for the Snover to glare at all at once; and even those that did fall beneath the trees gaze didn't flinch. Rather they seemed to all be casting the child a look which read 'Is he serious?'

To say the least, that this battle was getting boring had been the Skarmory's complaint from the beginning. They were just too evenly matched as he missed his attack ...his body would catch the Onix, but it was pointless as the pokemon's rocky hide would stop him from getting any further with that attack. A chirp of frustration would come from him as he pushes himself higher into the air. To be honest, he had had enough of this grounded fight ....as he took one claw and hook it in the pokemon's neck as he would push himself upwards further opening his wings as he caught the breeze. It was always hard to think how a metallic bird like a Skarmory had managed to get himself airborne, but as he caught the winds and rose higher he spiraled upwards.
((have you finally had enough?))
The Skarmory crowed from above.
This would give him the distances he needed for his next attack ...Brave bird was all that worked, and through he hated every moment he had to use it ...he knew it was for his own advantage to continue upon this path.
Though he was starting to get tired of it himself. He couldn't break through his defensive simply with that move anymore, and there was a risk that he would actually do more damage towards himself than his opponent as he eyes narrowed. The sun at his back as he intensified the sun rays themselves.
He was going to drill that pokemon into the earth and end this once and for all ...as he gave a full leer. His objective was quite clearly ...he was going to make that stupid pokemon understand, in such a battle, he was the victor. No matter what they decided.
((You can't beat me))
He counter attacked.

As desert gave way to broad green leaves, both students would find that the sand hadn't full disappeared, much of it lingering around Riku's feet. The wind abruptly howled, the sand scattered around the grass whipping up into the air. The groan of an ancient oak came next as it cracked and fell forward into another. From the forest emerged a swirling Whirlwind which sucked up all the sand...and Riku with it.
The girl would be carried off with the wind as it continued it's destructive venture through the forest. Lucien would be left alone in the forest. It would seem he was on his own now.
Riku would soon find herself in the desert, the moon showing high over head. Rather then the blazing hot of the day, it was below freezing. The Whirlwind had carried the girl to the desert...and for the moment, there she would remain.

">Who said I ever intended to?<" The Onix rumbled, again his eyes containing the hint of a smile. Mood swings, they weren't particularly uncommon for him. The bird was in the air now, and that made things different...interesting even.
Genn was an Onix of course, and thus naturally quite tall, but even he could only reach so far into the air. Rather then his hasty, heavy handed attacks, he'd need to be patient...careful with his strikes...or not. He was never very good at patience anyway.
Thrusting his tail into the ground to anchor himself like he had several times earlier that day, the Onix began to swing his head and body about much like a flail. Round and round he went, producing an odd form of a Tackle attack. He simply had to hit the Skarmory with his body to succeed; but it was a hit he'd never be able to make....
IT came then, at last Raven saw his chance and threw the PokeBall he'd been caressing. He'd been watching the Skarmory closely from the beginning. It's actions, the tone of it's voice, the look in those eyes...this was the type of Pokemon he wanted at his side!

Victoria saw as flesh and blood seemed to materialize on the bones as the smoke wrapped around it. She had been scared before, but she was terrified now as she tries to rapidly think of what could cause such a change. What could do that ...nothing that she knew of ...no psychic type move, no ghost type, ....this was the real deal as she felt her skin crawl. But this was no longer moving bones, it was something solid something that could be hit and something that could give pain ....as Aella launches herself even as the pokemon came them both with bite.
The flying squirrel would aim her attack even as she flips in the air .....sending the air slash for that open mouth as she counter attacks. Her cry as she made the attack ...and allowed the wind to try and push her upwards and over that mouth even as she struck it.
"Emo...emolga....ga...emolga." ((There is nothing to fear ...if it's flesh and bone we will destroy it, and if it's not ...we shall make it bow to us))
This was her pledge to the girl. She would make her understand her actions and better than that, she would make it clear that they can overcome anything ...it was fear that made bullies, and it is hatred that create murders. She would teach her love, bravery, and in the end ...she would break down everything that Victoria was trying to build up to turn into that monster of a girl.
She would show her the way.
This was the pokemon's conviction as Victoria watches it all with wide open eyes.

(14 - 2) + ( 8 - 8 ) = 12 DMG, Chikorita is at 2 HP
Phoebe carefully timed her leap- she flew between the pair of whips gracefully, each one just barely missing her body. She landed, claws outstretched, and swung several deep gashed marks across the Chikorita's chest. The damage done, she rolled to the left side of the grass-type.
A bubble of pride rose in her chest as she saw the power of Phoebe's attack. Her Pokemon was getting better. Still, they couldn't get cocky. "Phoebe, pull back! Get out of reach!" called Vanni stubbornly. Gesturing with her parasol, she pointed out the route the poison rabbit need to take. She had an idea, but it would require her Nidoran to get out of the way.
The Nidoran balked a bit at the order- she was close, why should she retreat? But she obeyed, skittering back. Her feet were light- even if she couldn't attack, she need to keep from being hit as she ran.
