"Can you talk? One click for yes, two clicks for no," Brenda said. Her gaze went to the front door of the Manor, which opened slowly and quietly, revealing d**k and Damian, with Brigade between them and toting a new Freeze Ray found in the Batcave. Brenda discreetly held a warning hand to them, telling them to stand down and not startle the thing, which hadn't seemed to notice them yet; or maybe it had and wasn't attacking so long as they didn't attack first. Nevertheless, the two Batfam members and the geth platform relaxed a bit so as to not scare the thing controlling Castle.

It was trying to suppress Castle's continued rages, and succeeding for the most part, until the new figures appeared at the door. Castle didn't even have to turn his head, but by reflex his skull-marked face whipped around to face them. "Go... AWAY! GRAAAAH!!" He grabbed his head again, with only one hand and looked to the ground before falling to a knee. The thing gave a small, pained screech and slowly turned its head back to Brenda.
It couldn't even understand how but it understood her words. A simple request. To make a noise on command. It gave a single, loud click and tried to steady its twitching body.

Brenda, d**k and Damian tensed up as Castle's consciousness resurfaced, and slowly calmed down as the thing responded to her question.
"Are you going to hurt us?" she asked, looking intently at the alien creature-- Which she supposed was what it was, as it certainly wasn't like any Earth animal she had ever encountered.

It looked around sporadically for several seconds, trying, as far as it could tell, to find a route to leave with. Looking back to Brenda, it hissed with a defeated tone and tried to convey its... thoughts? It clicked twice and waited several seconds before raising a clawed hand to the skull on its face and clicking again.

"What's he saying?" Damian asked in a hushed tone. Brenda, however, thought she knew what it was trying to say.
"It's okay, I won't hurt you..." she said, and for a moment, her tone was gentle, almost motherly. "The person you're attached to... Wants you to attack, am I right?"

It lowered itself, as if trying to appear smaller, and clicked a single time. It wasn't sure if even it understood the situation, but there was nothing threatening coming from the woman in front of it right now. It couldn't understand what Castle was trying to do, why he was so enraged. But it couldn't stop him.
Castle, from somewhere in his own head reared back and roared, his hands forming longer claws. His razor-toothed face was focused on Brenda before it grabbed it head and began to stumble around the grounds in pain. "NO!... Just... GO!!" Castle yelled. He turned to Brenda and the group and pointed with a claw. "Stay... the hell away!" He snarled.

Brenda tensed up yet again. "Castle... Calm down. I don't get why you don't like me so much, but there's no point in it." Brenda said matter-of-factly. d**k and Damian were tensed, and Brigade had the Freeze Ray aimed, but did not fire.

"SHUT UP!" Castle snarled again, his head thumping with sounds he knew weren't anywhere but in his mind, or within whatever this thing was. His head swung around the group, slowly backing up. He was getting out of there. He had to. With reflexes and speed he was still trying to figure out the limits of, Castle leapt for the stone wall which surrounded the grounds.
His body bore through the stone, leaving and massive hole, and he began running at top speed as far away as he could. Vaguely he became aware of the fact that the skin of the creature attached to him was actually changing color; blending in with the scenery around him. "What can't you do?" He muttered angrily, still confused as he could possibly be about the situation. No time for worries then, though. He descended into the city, unseen and largely unheard. The anger which was stewing inside of him for reasons he couldn't explain, now had a conduit to be released within.

Brenda, d**k, Damian, and Brigade watched Castle's exit with shock.
"Aw crap, he broke the wall..." Nightwing said, facepalming, while Brenda motioned for them to go back inside and into the Batcave. Track the guy now, worry about insurance costs later.

Artemis walked out of a shadow, still in his human form and blinked, disturbed. He had gone to visit another one of Crystal and as he jumped back over the fourth wall he got tidbits of information that he didn't like. He looks around the cave, obviously disturbed.
He went for the nearest phone and dialed the proper numbers to link with the Bat-communicators. "Guys? We might have a problem. I have a sinking feeling that we need to /leave/ Gotham for a few weeks and not tell anyone where we're going. Also get anyone you care about out of their homes and placed elsewhere. I think we might all be in danger."
He then hung the phone up, not giving anyone a chance to respond. He pulled his chalk out and started drawing the circle that turned him into a cat-boy, just the symbols slightly different.
Once he was done he stood in the middle and pressed the edge, turning back into a cat. He then moved to a strategic position to place another circle to turn him back human.

[Enter Starfire from Gotham City]  Flying across the sky in a fiery streak in the air. The redheaded Tamarian circled the grand mansion once before slowly descending in a tight spiral -- eventually touch down softly in front of the impressive gateway to the grounds. Kori could have flown directly to the manor, but thought that might be... rude to arrive practically inside the grounds unannounced. Trying to be 'discreet' was new to Starfire, but she was willing to try; because, she didn't want Nightwing to get in trouble with Mr. Wayne or the Titans for that matter. Looking on the left side of the gate, Kori found the intercomm and gently pushed the switch to open the channel, Ummmmm.... Hello in there. Could you please be telling me, if you have a d**k in there?"

Artemis' ears perked up as he fell over laughing. The way Starfire spoke was always odd, but that was the funniest thing he had heard her say in a long time.
Artemis got up and trotted towards the door, opening it up for Star and waited for her to enter.

"Thank you and.... Thank you!" Starfire first spoke toward teh intercomm and then to the cat that just let her in through the gate, "I trust all is well?"

Artemis smiled up at Starfire. "How are you, Child?" His ear twitched when she asked if all was well. "Actually... No. All is not well. During a jump between worlds I caught a smidgin of something that the heroes of Gotham and their families are in trouble. I don't know anything else about it but I felt the need to warn everyone."
The can spoke as he walked Star back to the Manor and inside.
