Kairi nodded."Rei is the one that is cute through and through.she really likes fighting and allwas acts Childsh and crazy at the same time when she's fighting." kairi laughed.

She could do nothing but stare ahead for the longest time. "A monster," she whispered, more thoughtfully than anything. Her arms felt weak, and it was only Orochi's strength that kept her latched to his back. It was a lot to take in. What if I do somehow connect to this other personality? What...will happen to me?" And furthermore, why had Melodie felt in necessary to lie? Did she think Penelope's feelings would be hurt if she found out she really was a danger to others? The mermaid was finding it difficult to decide whether she was upset or grateful.
Suddenly Penelope felt a dull, warm pain begin to spread throughout her body like a gentle fever. She was drying out, slowly but surely. Shifting her weight a little, she felt her tail crinkle as dry human skin might. "I...I appreciate this," she said matter-of-factly, as though she were trying to appeal to Orochi's personality.  Orochi sighed and shifted her weight on his back better as he felt her go limp. "no not a monster......just powerful" he said in a reassuring tone. "I know what its like to be a monster, trust me, and your not one. Even if something else was controlling you, you still fought to help everyone. The reason they consider you a monster isn't because you do bad things. Its because they don't understand you, and with that ignorance comes fear and loathing...the only thing you can do is prove that your not a monster." He didn't really know why he was trying to make the girl feel better. Something inside him just compelled him to do it. He rarely felt this odd sense of compassion, and he didn't like it. It made him feel weak. Thankfully the girls blank show of appreciation allowed him to return to his own emotionless state. "whatever...like I said I just needed to stretch my legs is all" They got to the lake and orochi gently let her down near the water "now hurry up and return to your normal form before we get left behind" he said sounding annoyed

not satisified with the cool down time for a level 4 attack Utsuho was looking over The Third Leg and making changes
"Ugh this is so frustrating I did everything I could think of but the cool down time is too long, this can't be it, this can't be the third legs limit" Utsuho stated out of frustration as she moved some of the wiring around and checked over all the circuits. she was being careful as the device was still rather hot

(Woo, im back guys, I missed the entire mission but ill just pretend cielle was there and doing whatever.)  Cielle circled the skies around the lake, she managed to spot two figures heading towards the water. She identified them as Orochi and Penelope. Cielle landed a few meters away from the duo and toddled to them. She obviously didn't have the same grace with her wings on land as she did in the air. She walked a circle around them before hopping into the branches of a lakeside willow tree. "Hello" she said and nodded towards both Orochi and Penelope. "Nice fight we had back there, especially you Pen." She grinned at her general direction, Her smile disguised her concern for Penelope after seeing what she had turned into. Cielle frowned as she examined Penelope. "What's the matter Pen? You feeling okay? You look a bit sick." She eyed Orochi. "You didn't do anything to her did you?" She inquired, remembering all to well his remark about virgins. She didn't want to admit it but it kinda creeped her out. She was after all, also a virgin.

"Well it seems like the mission is about to start.. Ron's coming back." He said staring at Rons walking back to the training field.

"Ok." kairi said.she was a bit Anchises.she had never been on a mishen befor and was afrade that she might fail it miserably and that no one would want to be her friend anymoor.
"Did I hear Mission?" Rei piped up near Kairi and Chris."So were going to go on it soon! Yey!" she said happly.Rei,bring a robot,barley ever felt afrade because of thatwas the one emotion not in her wiring and she was still lirning what fear was.she wasent afrade in the least just exited.

Orochi eyed her back, his glowing eyes portraying his near ravenous hunger. "funny you would say that considering I'm the only one who actually helped her out" he said mater of factly. He didn't mind getting accused for things he did. In fact in some ways he actually took pride in it. but when he actually betrayed his own instincts and showed compassion for someone, being accused of doing something wrong annoyed him to no end. Orochi suddenly shut his eyes and saw from Grenga's eyes, who he had left back at the training field, and he could see that Ron was approaching. "hurry up, we don't have much time left" he said to Penelope .

Chris turned to Kairi. "Dont worry i havent been on a mission either but this should be easy knowing Ron said it was." Then Rei popped up. "Hey Rei." He laughed. "Yep were about to go on the mission now. Depending on what Ron says." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ron came to the training field. "Everyone.. are you ready to start." He said smiling. "You need to be alert and ready.. well wait because a few students arent here yet but if they dont show up.. they know the consequences."

Orochi's tone softened as he spoke of ignorance. It seemed like he understood her better than she did, which was sort of eerie, but also comforting. She almost felt...safer. His annoyance only made her chuckle gently, "This is my normal form," she informed him, diving under and resurfacing a few feet away.
The quick dive made her a little homesick, but the feeling wasn't as bad as usual. Penelope returned to the shore and sat with her tail just in the water. She was about to pull it onto the dry land when she remembered something. I don't have any clothes. She slapped her forehead in frustration. Damn human conventions! I'll have to improvise with my sash... Focusing carefully, she allowed her tail to come out of the water, and as she did so the small cloth strained and stretched until it was a one-piece outfit. That's lucky, the mermaid thought with a silent chuckle, I should do this more often.
As she stood on the bank listening to this girl's accussation her face turned bright red in embarrassment, "I'm fine!" She turned and headed back to the field without another word, glancing at Orochi as she passed him. Despite his irritated exterior, he had helped her. Now her next problems at hand: confronting Melodie, and figuring out how to harness the energy her "other self" possessed. As dangerous as Orochi had made it sound, she didn't care. Orochi watched as the mermaid changed, but didn't seem all that interested, he was still 10 after all. He felt her glance at him but he didn't bother to return it. As far as he was concern he was far to emotionally invested as it was, the sooner he shut himself back off the better. He sighed and headed back to the training field as well not bothering to give Cielle a second glance. When he made it back to the field Grenga slithered up to him and disappeared back into his robe once more. Orochi stood patiently awaiting the teacher's orders.

Cielle sighed at Orochi as he turned his back on her. I swear ill never understand that guy.
A few leaves were blown off the tree as she took off and flew towards where Ron was. The wind from her wings sent dust clouds billowing as Cielle landed in the training grounds. She stood inbetween Ron and Chris. "Hi" She said shortly.
