 The fire was out, blessedly out and no one had gotten hurt but she didn't doubt that it would be horrible to sleep here tonight. Smoke hung heavily in the air and she coughing shaking her head as she pulled a hand up to cover her nose. Through the haze she could hear more coughing, both human and pokemon...and then she saw it the soot covered meowth.Click the picture for full size  POKEBALL GO!!

 Lucine had stood silent and frozen at the sight of fire; she hated fire, nothing scared her more than a fire gone out of control. She ha simply watched as it flared, smoldered and then died under the administering of the trainers and the bucket brigade.
She sat down, a little shaky and swallowed. After a moment she pulled out a notebook and wrote down, Water pokemon invaluable.

 Lumina breathed a sigh of relief, edging towards the trees to check for any live embers or to see if anything else had been harmed. Blue eyes gazed back to their campsite, all their things drenched from the various sources of water and the fire dwindled, "Aahh, even my food.." She sighed, rubbing her forehead.

 The fire was out now, thank goodness. And there was the last of the Meowth, safe and sound. But hadn't there been another Pokemon? Robin peered into the charred ruins of the tree as the other trainers pelted the fourth Meowth with Pokeballs.

 CORN!
Donut wasn't at all put off by Emily's unwilling participation. He said, extending a giant ghostly tongue to attempt to slobberlick the Eevee, except his tongue passed through completely.
The clap of thunder and accompanying flash made the ghost completely fade from sight for a split second. "GEN-GARR!" The pokemon grabbed Corn by the sleeve and made to pull her forwards, out of the cover of the trees. He had to find Lamen! ...And people stuck in forest fires were no fun.

Jay didn't receive any serious injuries before the fire was extinguished and luckily there wasn't any pokemon in the tree during the fire. But Jay didn't let out a sigh of relief. He spotted a meowth that was obviously suffering from the effects of the fire. Jay threw his ball.

Pen cheered as the fire went out and then turned around. Oh no... everything was all wet, and it was sprinkling again...
She took the snowball and nibbled on it.

Tinnunculus "What?" Alex was momentarily transfixed by the sight of towering flames.. not to mention the sudden onslaught of water pokemon, including- was that a Lugia? Holy.. "Oh. Oh yeah, sure-"
He opted for shoving things back, starting with picking up the nearest objects - a pack a trainer had dropped on the ground before moving on to the extra pile of firewood.

The fire died down, and once again Liam found himself soaked thanks to the water pokemon who had made it rain, his shoulders sagging with a very unamused look.
"..."
Nitro shook out his fur, giving his trainer a droll look before turning around thwaking Liam's side with one of his tails as he heads back towards where Ridley and Soulcrusher stood, the healer following not a few seconds later. "Jesus sh..." he muttered, wringing out his shirt again, the other hanging limply from his hand, "Arceus really does not want me to stay dry today." Reaching out a hand to rest on Ridley's shoulder, he used him for support as he shook out his dirty shirt, mumbling something about wondering if there was a lake nearby.
