I have an option for both. well, it all depends. gimme the full scoop of the situation, and a little detail of the girl in mind. also, i just feel the need to make the reminder, are you absolutely sure this is the one you want to marry? living with a person for at least a year first is usually a good indicator.

you still havn't given me the info i would need to determine whether flashy is better than low-key for your proposal. sweatdrop
are you financially able to support a showy display? is she going through any stressful times? does she need cheering up, or just some compassion/sympathy? does she express any attitude of or desires for flamboyancy, or is she more of a simple girl? these are the kinds of things to consider when deciding how to propose.

Her words were "I don't care, so long as I am with you" I could do showy without literally being all flamboyant, I am in DC afterall. But I can also just be hanging with her and a few friends.
She is a simpler girl, very intelligent, beautiful. But she isnt a flashy person herself.
Though by showy I mean I mean do it so a huge commotion would be liek lots of people to see.
ya understand what I mean?

ugh, i hate the cold. *offers a blanket.* xp i feel your pain buddy. i was in freaking ohio, it snows there (but i was only there during summer xd ).
anywho, i would suggest doing something special for her, but not nessisarilly showy for other people. unless she realy likes that. then go ahead.
