Chronicler

Chronicler's gaze drifted over to another tree when she heard a laugh. There, on the branches of the tree, perched an eevee...a blue...glowing...eevee.

There weren't very many standard appearances for Pokemon around here, but glowing is definitely special. She quickly scribbled something into her notebook, put it away again and made her way over to the eevee, curiosity driving her.

Chronicler didn't notice Zori until it was too late -her colouring helped her blend into the shadow of the tree- and the Cherrim was left staring up at the two of them from the bottom of the tree.

Well, there was no way around it. She would come off as rude if she didn't greet them, or it might look like she was eavesdropping.

"Hello Zori! And hello eevee!" She called out just after the blue eevee spoke.

Zori

Zori felt her face heat up. She looked away shyly. "Th-thank you..." After a few moments, she glanced back up, glad that Legacy couldn't see her blush through her charcoal and silver fur. "You... You left it behind for me, didn't you?" She asked him softly, her golden eyes warm and bright. A familiar voice from below drew her attention to the Chronicler. "Hi!" She called back, still blushing furiously from Legacy's compliment. It wasn't fair! How come every little thing had to make her blush as red as a Cheri berry?! "How are you, Chronicler?"

Legacy

Legacy blinked those bright red eyes slowly. Oh? Interesting coloring on a Cherrim.
"Greetings, Cherrim." The glowing Pokemon replied before leaping to his feet and proceeding to pretend and groom his paws for a moment.
At Zori's question he merely smiled, a mischievous glint in those eyes.
"Maybe~Maybe I thought you could help me with something. Or more specifically, help my master."

Zori

Zori narrowed her eyes suspiciously. He just knew how to push every button, didn't he? He wanted help with 'something', but he hadn't said what. Now she couldn't rest until she knew what 'something' was. Her curiousity wouldn't let her. She tilted her head. "And what exactly would helping you involve, Legacy?" She was careful to keep her voice smooth and silky, trying not to give away the fact that she'd probably agree to help, whatever it was.

Chronicler

"I'm fine!" Chronicler lied, and for her, it wasn't hard to imitate her usual cheery self. No need to concern anyone else with her team's problems, and it probably helps if she stopped thinking about it.

Chronicler watched the blue eevee groom itself, fascinated. He gave off some sort of...aura. It's hard to explain, but Chronicler probably would have understood much better if she knew she was in the presence of a Legendary.

Since the two eevees seemed to be having some sort of conversation, Chronicler didn't speak further. Part of her wondered if she was intruding on something, but then again they didn't seem to mind talking within earshot of her, so it's probably ok.

Legacy

The blue Eevee chuckled.
"I'm not asking for too much, Zori. Just your help in saving this kingdom. All you have to do is alert me if there's ever any serious danger."
He lifted a paw to poke lightly at the necklace on her neck.
"These stones were created by my master. He has made three of them and they emit a faint psychic energy that allows some telepathic skills. Just think of me, and I'll come."
With that he gave a laugh and in one spring had leapt from the branch and to the ground. A fall that would possibly kill a Pokemon as small as the glowing Eevee, but before he hit the earth there was a flash of light and a small blue Pidgey took off into the air.

Zori

Zori felt her face heat up even more, if that was possible, as the glowing, blue Eevee wrapped a delicate paw around her necklace, his fur gently brushing against hers. He looked her in the eyes as he spot, and she swore she was about to melt off the branch. She nodded, dazed. Of course she'd help him... Her eyes clouded dreamily, she watched Legacy leap from the branch, diving gracefully through the air, and morphing into a shining, blue Pidgey. She felt a shy smile trace it's way across her face as she watched Legacy fly away, his glowing, blue form disappearing in a small flash of blue light. He'd probably Teleported off. She glanced down at the Chronicler, hearing her soft reply. Her voice sounded a little off, but Zori let it slide. She wouldn't ask if the Cherrim wouldn't ask her about how SHE was feeling. She carefully made her way down to the ground, wagging her tail at the Cherrim. "I'm glad to hear that you're okay!" She told the Pokemon sincerely.

Ruana & Demetri

Noticing the shuppet's gaze fall on him almost immediately, the young growlithe returned Cadarl's stare, although it took some courage to actually do so; after all, he wasn't going to let some ghost-type intimidate him, stronger fighter or not. Eventually, though, the shuppet relented, and actually complimented him. He nodded, one of his smaller grins slipping through. "Thanks," Demetri replied, watching Cadarl. "Exploration teams are something of a tradition in our family, so I've had a little bit of training." The last statement contained a touch of pride; he felt that he was allowed it, as he didn't say much about them otherwise.

Chronicler

Chronicler yelped when the blue eevee hopped off the branch. It wasn't safe to jump from so high up for such a small pokemon! And then the Cherrim watched with wide eyes as it turned into a Pidgey in mid-air and flew off. Whoa...

She tore her eyes away from the spectacle of the blue Pidgey disappearing in a flash of light to watch Zori making her way down the tree.

"Was that a ditto?" She asked, trying to make sense of the blue eevee in her mind. She thought it was a good guess, their own team had a ditto and what else could turn into a different Pokemon like that?

Zori

Zori shook her head. She had to be careful with the way that put this... "Legacy, that's the Pokemon you just met, is... special. He's not a Ditto, but a very powerful Psychic type. Transformations are one of his strong-points." The Eevee replied, calmly, licking her forepaw clean of bark. Bark was very irritating to walk on if you didn't get the little bits cleaned off your paws.

Chronicler

Chronicler looked back over at where the blue Pokemon had disappeared.

"Ah, so he's like that Gardevoir from the Moon Guild." Chronicler thought outloud, itching to taking out her notebook and begin writing. She has met Pokemon at the guild who did things she never thought possible for their species before she came, and they all made for such wonderful stories! Of course, it would be rude to start writing while talking with someone, so she didn't.

Chronicler wanted to say something further, but she couldn't think of anything that wouldn't ultimately sound insensitive about what had happened the day before. Legacy had been an interesting distraction, but now that he was gone, the harsh realities came back.

"I'm...I'm sorry about-" She started saying, but was interupted as a rather flustered looking larvitar ran across the field yelling her name.

"Chronicler! Acer's crying and won't shut up. What the hell do I do?"

She should have expect nothing more from Incultyr. He wasn't exactly a very parental pokemon. Looking up at the sun, Chronicler knew that it was about half an hour after Acer's feeding time. Incultyr must have tried to hold out that entire time before finally giving up and looking for Chronicler.

"Ah, I guess I should go then. It's nice to see you again Zori." The Cherrim then turned to get over to her panicky team leader, glad of the interruption. Chronicler had nearly mentioned Aisu, and she berated herself for it. At a time like this she had no right to bring up something that must be painful for the eevee.

Zori

Zori winced at the Chronicler's words. It wasn't exactly difficult to tell what she'd been about to say. Zori swallowed, turning her head away slightly. She nodded in farewell to the Cherrim. The moment that the Chronicler had left, so did Zori, disappearing through an archway, and out of the Courtyard.

User Image~Morgan

Morgan efficiently teleported out into the gardens in her first try; this accomplishment probably being her first sign of luck all night. Her business here was to search for Tito, whom she felt like she needed to talk to immediately as possible. Over anywhere else this was the best place for her to look; the two always having came here when problems arose.

Tito

Tito was sitting behind some bushes when he heard the familiar sound of a Pokemon Teleporting.
He quickly curled up, hoping Morgan wouldn't find him.
He was in a bad mood and totally embarrassed.
Unfortunately, blue and red didn't blend in well with a green bush.

"Tito?!" Morgan repeated and called about for a moment; positive the Weavile was nearby at this point. Soon enough, as expected, she spotted a familiar set of colors curled up in the nearby brush. Rushing over she kept her head down in self pity, apologizing when she was close enough to speak."I'm sorry...This was all my fault." She obviously felt responsible for all of the recent happenings. After all she was kinda' leading him on.
