When Syori heard Loda's voice she looked up. Her face looked a lot more like a little innocent girl then the fighter that she was. It still held traces of fear from the crowded place. She was unconsciously still clinging to desert, for some odd reason to her this felt normal, like it used to happen a lot. Her head started to hurt again, the more she tried to find out about her past the more she felt sick.

"Yeah about the jewel, Arc grabbed it and is now looking for the other one. Apparently this one is moving so it might take a bit of time." He looked at syori and how she clung to him. He smiled as her and took her onto the ship. "I am going to have her lay down for awhile and collect her thoughts." He brought her to a cabin and laid her on the bed. "There now rest for a bit ok." He smiled again and sat down at the end of the bed.

Loda followed Desert back onto the ship with Pearl on his heels. "Umm Syori, are you all right? I think you and Desert have tried really hard to help me but you both are now ordered to stop, in fact you should spend some time in the town and enjoy yourselves...It's an order."

Syori cringed at the mention of towns and orders. Her eyes snapped for a second. Orders were what killed her mother, orders were what made her dad die, orders made her lose her 'brother'. Orders were a way of controlling people, Syori did not like to be controlled. She turned around "I can never have fun in a town." She said simply as she played with the necklace that lead to Ishtar sword.

Taken a little aback by Syori's retort Loda withdrew. "I'm sorry. I'll just go clear my head then." He turned, closing the door behind him, pausing to think for moment. Once his mind was made up he went and ran off, Pearl following after him since someone needed to be their to help him. She knew that he had some kind of condition and he did take her off the streets, besides she found a pile of coiled ropes that would make a good bed for her soon to come puppies, it just needed something soft to line it. Loda continued until he found a tall clock tower with a spiraling staircase up the inside which he saw through a window, breaking in he noticed Pearl followed him and helped her in. Running up the staircase he found the unlocked door to a hidden room behind a shattered mirror, after removing the shards he entered and found a rather new room in the dusty old tower, it looked like a child's playroom. Many porcelain dolls lined the floor and sat upon shelves on the walls, teddy bears, nut crackers and one large beautifully decorated Carousel horse for decoration also brightened the room. "Wow Pearl, all this stuff. I know this, even though they are all toys these are some of the rarest treasures made, though easy to mistake as nothing it's the materials these are made from and the amount of detail on the horse. Amazing!"
Arc searched for the Queen's palace, maybe the Queen would be there and she probably would have the jewel and she is a moving target.

Syori felt bad and was about to say something when the door shut. She pulled the covers over her head, "Damn it." she muttered as she held her head in her hands. She screwed up again, she always screwed up. Loda was already in pain and she had to go and be such a brat.

Desert suddenly felt like a third wheel and sat next to Syori. He placed his arm around her. "Don't worry, good things are bound to happen." He smiled at her as he kissed the top of her head. "Besides I am here to make good luck for you." He remembered how his master said this to him a lot. "So come on, even if you don't want to go to a town, how about a palace?"

Syori remembered a line her father used to say, "Weapon masters don't have good luck, they make heir own." She muttered as she turned to face Desert. "Ok, a Palace sounds nice, it should be nice and empty too." She said smiling. She started coughing again as she clutched the necklace. After the fit was over she took a quick swig of her medication

"Alright then, up we go." He picked her up again and flew out the door. His feet landed on top of a building as his chains grabbed from building to building. "Hold on tight ok?" He smiled as he continued to jump the rooftops towards the palace. 'I just hope Ayane is there making peace.'
Ayane was sitting with the queen having some tea. "Lovely tea you have your highness."

Arc had been searching quite a bit but it was getting dark, not the best time to go searching for some things so he decided to head back, as he climbed the ship and entered the was locked captain's cabin of The Blue Pearl which he pick locked with one claw. He picked up the scabbard of Samhain and unsheathed the sword, making sure to hold it with a cloth instead of directly or he would get the curse himself. Placing the opal orb in the correct slot on the hilt he paused to admire it, so far there was the diamond heart, opal crescent, sapphire star and Ruby tear. All that was left was a pearl. "Seems like things are falling into place, in fact I have a feeling eventually Loda will get his curse released no matter what. So I'm just going to- Huh? Nani?" He was interrupted when a note fell from seemingly the ceiling, taking a look at the note it read "Poseidon is watching." A slight shiver ran down the legendary pirate's back for the first time and he tore up the note. "This is bad. Poseidon is not the one causing this I know it. As vague as this letter is and at the time it would seem to be referring to Loda's destiny it would be sent to Loda, not me. Have I upset the god's somehow?"

Syori relaxed a little more as they ran along the roof tops. She felt bad about snapping at Loda. "I think he hates me now." she muttered she hated the thought of Loda thinking ill of her. for some reason Loda had been occupying a lot of her mind lately, Arc was also occupying a little of her mind, but she knew that arc was more of an older brother, while loda, when ever he looked at a girl Syori felt like hurting the girl. These were new emotions to the girl and she did not know what to do with them.

Desert stopped on a roof and looked at Syori. "No, he doesn't hate you. Truth be told he is probably more worried that you hate him." Watching her, he smiled as he used a chain to pat her head gently. "Syori, you are a brave and cute girl, I doubt he could hate you. Honestly, you remind me of my master's daughter. She worried over the smallest things. Whether her clothes where in order, if I was clean or was healed and ready for training." Laughing, the man started to jump from the roof tops again. "Just remember, the guys on this ship, especially me, are looking out for you and we could never hate you."

Arc returned to the deck and noticed Syori and Desert in the distance and followed out of curiosity leaving his second in command to make sure both The Blue Pearl and Black Lion were safe. He caught up to the two, hiding in the shadows before appearing behind Syori suddenly and gave her a hug, placing his head on top of hers. "Hello my little bird." He teased before taking her hand and swinging her around like ballroom dancing. He glanced at Des before grinning like the chesire cat.
Loda picked up one of the porcelain dolls, it looked so real and was kind of soft to the touch but a light tap on the arm of the doll gave a porcelain chime. "The quality is so good it's creepy. I'm pretty sure this stuff would be impossible to sell because they're so priceless Pearl." He shuffled through the toys until he saw a porcelain doll that look almost exactly like Syori. A sorrowful frown slowly appeared on Loda's face like the light of the moon disappearing in an eclipse. "Syori." He looked away from the doll and walked over to the window, looking up at the moon, a tear began to roll down his face, then another and another, he didn't sob, didn't wipe away the tears but stood silently and let the tears roll down his face. "Sometimes life can play such cruel tricks." He muttered before turning away from the window and walked over to the balcony, climbing up the railing that kept the cleaner from falling when he had to clean the clock on the clock tower, in the next room. Pearl ran after him and let out a whine, which Loda ignored and jumped but his necklace got caught on the hour hand of the clock face and he began to choke as a certain hissing voice spoke. "You cannot die yet, You shall die when your curse comes and brings you a horrid painful death."

Syori had went to talk back to Des but suddenly she was spinning like she was dancing. She smiled a little but she had a small smileish frown.
