He smiled slightly and picked her up, laying on the couch with her on his stomach, petting her head lightly. "I know it's frustrating baby, believe me. But you'll get it soon enough, and it'll just come naturally." Resting his hand on her back he turned on the tv, keeping the volume down so not to wake Moya or to hurt Shilo's ears. Lugaru ears were better than a human's while in that form, and extremely sensitive in wolf form. It helped for hunting.

Shilo placed her head on his chest and whined a little longer before being calm enough to shift back to her human form. She lay there, listening to her daddy's heart beat and feel him breathe. That was soothing enough to her to make her sleepy, but she didn't want to sleep just yet. She faught off the want to sleep.

He knew she was growing tired, sensing it when she shifted back. Rubbing her back softly he kissed her head, watching her while the tv remained background noise. "It's ok to fall asleep, Shilo. I'm not going anywhere, I'll be here when you wake up." To be honest he was a little tired still as well.

Shilo slowly started to give up the fight and then allowed sleep to take over. She stayed in one place while she slept, turning into pretty much a space heater.

He smiled and kept his hand on her back, rubbing lightly before he closed his eyes. It felt peaceful in the house, Shilo on his chest a comfortable weight. It was enough that he fell asleep as well while he held her.

Moya woke up a few hours later and got up, a little surprised that Nik wasn't still with her. She got out of bed and went into Shilo's room. She saw claw marks in the wood but they were too close together for something big. She then saw the tugging rope and couldn't help but laugh. She wondered downstairs and saw the two sleeping on the couch. She smiled and went into the kitchen, making herself some breakfast and leaned on the counter. She looked at it a moment before putting her bowl down and jumping up on it. God if felt great to be up there again. She picked up her bowl again and munched on the cereal as she watched her whole world sleep on the couch.

Hearing Moya in the kitchen Nik opened his eyes slowly, his hand tensing on Shilo slightly before relaxing. He knew nothing would happen, but he still felt the need to make sure she was there. Wrapping an arm around her carefully he sat up, holding her with both arms as he stood and went to the kitchen, kissing Moya softly. "Morning."

Moya smiled and kissed him back, looking down at Shilo. "Looks like you two had fun upstairs earlier. Too bad I passed out good or that would have been a fun sight to see." She kissed him again and gently kissed Shilo's head. "She is so much like you Nik."

He smiled and nodded as he grabbed an apple out of the bowl, setting Shilo in one of the little baby beds that bounced as he rinsed it off, taking a bite and standing by Moya. "She looks like you though. That's already plain to see."

She nodded a little and finished her cereal, putting the bowl aside. "So how does it feel to you to have your own family Nik?" She smiled and ran her fingers through his hair a little as he ate his apple.

He couldn't answer her just yet, he was too busy purring at the feel of her hand in his hair. Giving a growl of approval he turned setting the apple core done and wrapping his arms around her waist, nuzzling her neck affectionately as he continued to growl.

Moya sighed and smiled, keeping her hand in his hair and wrapping her legs around him. She winced and shook her head, gently pulling him away and kissing him passionately. "I'm still sore from having the baby Nik, it will take a while for me to be able to have our time again." She kissed him again and hugged him.

He groaned softly and kissed her back, his arms around her hips still as he rested his chin on her head. That wasn't what he wanted, but just wasn't able to keep his lips off of her. It didn't help that he was pouting slightly, but that was his problem. He didn't necessarily need that. He just wanted to touch her.

Moya smiled and closed her eyes for a moment, absorbing his warmth. "I love you Nik."
Shilo in her sleep got annoyed with the bouncing and woke up, starting to cry a little to get her parents attention so they could get her out of the bouncing bed.

He smiled at the sound of Shilo's crying, kissing Moya's head before going over to Shilo and lifting her up gently. "Easy pup, easy." He held her so her head was against his shoulder, returning to Moya and kissed her gently. "I love you too."
