Sojiro sat up straight.
"Why? Why would they fight?"
Gai sat back.
"Dominence. That has to be it. They must have a thing goin' on with the 'control of the earth' if ya get my drift. The elementals can't win, because whats the universe without gods? And the Gods can't win, because What's the earth without the Elements?"
Sojiro nodded.
"We have to prevent the war. It can't happen. Whichever side wins, we lose."
Gai nodded back.
"Exactly."

Upon seeing that she was no further of need at the ninja village, she decided to go for the walk she had intended on going on earlier. She took a deep breath and walked out of the building and toward the same direction she had came from. Thoughts of her stepfather crossed her mind as she looked down at her hands that were once blood soaked from her act of revenge upon him.
She cleared her troubled thoughts of that matter only to be faced with another; would she actually stay at the ninja village or travel out on her own? This she did not know. She couldn't trust anyone and this was extended even more greatly to that of the opposite sex. She took another deep breath as she continued to walk to no particular location in mind.

Sojiro stood up and started to head out.
"I have to warn the others!"
Gai pulled on his arm.
"Hold up, Sojiro."
Gai said.
"You need to listen. The war is going to be on the old battlefield. Right smack dab in the middle of Nippon."
Sojiro nods.
"And this scroll master Gai?"
Gai looked into Sojiro's soul with his piercing eyes.
"Use it as a last resort."
A chill went through Sojiro.
"Hai, Sensei."
Sojiro started to walk out but turned.
"What about You-?"
Sojiro stopped.
Gai-Sensei was gone.

Selysia continued to walk until she found that she had been walking for hours without realizing it. She decided to take a small break and meditate as she stopped and found a tree that she could climb. Upon reaching the third branch from the top, she laid back against the trunk and closed her eyes to meditate, satisfied with the fact that she was well hidden from any impending danger that might be lurking about.
"Where do I go from here?" she asked herself in a low voice, but the only reply she recieved was the sound of the wind rustling through the leaves of the forest.

Sojiro rushes out of the shrine and tugs the scroll away in his yukata.
He heads for the dragon clan to warn them!!

After a peaceful and much needed nap, Selysia jumped down from the branch of the tree and started walking again; not really knowing where she was headed.
"There has got to be somewhere I can go, but where?" she asked herself.
