Rayne turned her head at the last moment, so he kissed her cheek as she turned bright red. She didn't want her first real kiss with a guy to be so fleeting and a goodbye one, at that, thus the reason she did it, but she also didn't want to say that... What 16 year old hadn't been kissed yet? "See ya!" She calls out falteringly after a moment when she'd gotten her nerves back and when he was almost gone. Rayne then takes a deep breath and takes their trays over to the kitchens before leaving.

Rachel strode merrily into the dining hall alongside Nobara. She'd spent a lot of time sitting out in the courtyard reading, and had managed to forget about how hungry she actually was. Moving quickly to the line, she waved Nobara over behind her and grabbed a tray.
"Man... I really lost track of time back there," she said, smiling a little. "I'm totally starved!" She started putting things on her tray, deciding she was in the mood for a nice big salad and a bowl of vegetable soup. She'd pigged out on pizza the night before, so this would sort of balance things out... not that it really mattered anyway, with her powers and all.

"Heh, me too... I haven't eaten in forever! I'll warn you, though, I always did have like... four stomachs. It's crazy how much I can eat. I'm a regular pig." Nobara grabbed a tray, but some other guy grabbed one before her, and slid it next to Rachel's. "Hey, you. Mind if I stick with my friend?" He looked at her strangely, and Nobara smirked. THE NERVE! With that, she smiled at Rachel and then grabbed a cup of jello, "accidentally" spilling it all over his shirt. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" she said almost too sweetly, trying to resist the urge to laugh. "To think that that would have NEVER happened if I was in front of you!"
Apparently he was the silent type, because his mouth hung open in disgust and he gave her a glare before walking off to clean his striped shirt. Nobara just shrugged. "Hey. I'm mean." With that, she set her tray down next to Rachels and began to pick out a variety of foods... tons of watermelon, some eggrolls... something that was a nasty pink color, and a bunch of other things which included noodles and vegetables. It practically piled up on her plate.
When she reached the cashier, Nobara pointed first at herself and then at Rachel. "The Touka account. Credit." She didn't even give a look of concern or thought as she mentioned these words, but the cashiers seemed to know exactly what she was talking about. With that, Nobara motioned her head away, as if to tell Rachel where to go. "I'm in the mood... for a window." she said, nodding to herself. She then slipped her food onto a random table, and slid into her chair effortlessly. "And there's lunch!"

Rachel snickered silently at Nobara's treatment of the guy who'd jumped in line between them. This girl elevated humiliating men to an art form; it was very impressive to watch. She gave Nobara an approving grin as she moved her tray next to hers and began picking out her food.
And here I was, concerned about how much I was going to be eating in front of her... Rachel mused to herself, looking at all the stuff that ended up on her friend's tray by the time they reached the end of the line.
When she got to the cashier, Rachel took out her student ID card and was about to pay when Nobara interrupted and charged it to her family's account instead. She glanced back and forth between her friend and the cashier - apparently her family must have been pretty rich, because the cashier didn't even flinch when she announced the name of the account.
"So, your family's pretty loaded, huh?" she asked as the two of them walked over toward the window seat to eat their meals. "Nice, not to have to worry about money that much, isn't it?"

"Bah." She said, wiffing her hand back and forth in the air, like a paper fan. "It's really no major deal. In fact, we used to be totally poor until my grandmother passed away. Turns out she had a ton of cash... it all went to my mother, since my Uncle, as my grandma said in her will, had stolen enough cash in her wallet over time to fill an entire pool. So my family got it all. We went from having beans every night to caviar and lobster." As Nobara stated her story, a few people looked over at her, but she just raised her eyebrows at them; so many people were greedy.
"Being rich is no major deal. We give most of it to charity anyway." She said, sighing lightly and leaning back in her chair, a plastic fork in her mouth. "All it means is that there's more money to spend..."

Alexi walked into the dining room with his usual casual, cocky stride. Today he had taken out his lip ring and replaced it with a retainer. Today he had a small black strip on his lip in place of his lip ring and his eye's were still outlined the same way with the strip down the left eye. His clothes today were a simple tight purple sleeveless shirt and tight black jeans like the jeans he wore yesterday. Because he wore a sleevelss shirt today you could easily see the steel armguards taking up the space from just above his wrist to just below his elbow. He took made his way accross the dining hall heading for the line up for food.

Ayame walked into the dining hall, in a frantic search for Hikari or Sora. Neither of them were there, though. She could just see the girl from yesterday and a few other people. Being only four, Ayame was ready to burst into tears, not being able to find her sister or Sora anywhere on campus.
Ayame walked slowly and took a seat across from Nobara, tears already running down her face. She was so heart-broken, wondering if her sister and Sora ditched her. Oh, that would be horrible. Her grey eyes looked up at the lady across from her, silently saying to herself, "She's very pretty..." But then just sighed, taking her black ribbon out of her hair and reached out for an apple in a small bowl of fruit.

Startled by the sudden appearance of the young girl, Nobara stood up quickly, firsts forming. "Are you okay!? You look lost!" She said, staring at the girl. Something like this had happened to Nobara before...
"Mommy, where are you?!" The young girl cried, tears pouring down her pale pink face. "I... can't find you! Mommy, come out!" The young girl without her glasses, curls bouncing up and down, ran through the aisles of the small supermarket that they both used to go to together, hand in hand. First she passed the apples, then the bananas, then the cereal... tears in her eyes as she ran by in her ratted old sandals.
It was then that she noticed a tall young woman with the same curls as her running past the aisles as well, twice the speed at which she was going. It took all she courage she could to muster up enough to scream "MOMMY, I'M RIGHT HERE!" The young woman stopped in her tracks, and changed her direction, coming clearly for the little girl. Tackling her in a warm hug, one could clearly see she was sobbing. "Nobara, Nobara... please don't run off again..."
Nobara shook her head, the sudden memory fading away, and looked at Rachel before walking over to the little girl. "Tell me... where did you last see the people you were traveling with...?" Out of the corner of her eye, she also noticed Alexi wandering around... what a fool. He couldn't even keep up a fight.

Ayame looked up at the pretty lady and answered in a small voice, "We were in Mommy's dorm room. I was with my sister in the southern courtyard, but then I wandered off. When I came back, she was gone, and Mommy wasn't in her room." She wiped her eyes, trying not to feel sad or lost.
It seemed hopeless for Ayame not to feel lost. She then saw the man in purple, and couldnt help but laughing. "He looks like... a clown!" she said giggling and crying at the same time. She then got the hiccups from her little combination of laughter and sadness. They never did mix too well.

Alexi sat in line a minute impatiently waiting his turn. He peered around the line and noticed that it was a girl running the cashier. He smiled and bought himself a piece of pizza when he got to the end of the line. It was clear from the way he was leaning against the counter and hte way he was standing that he was flirting wth the cashier. After a while he passed her a piece of paper and with a smile left without having to pay for his food. He looked around for a place to sit and saw Nobara. With a mischeivous smile he walked over and set his tray down on the table she was sitting at. He was about to say hi before he notived hte little girl acrros from her. She looked upset and it made Alexi feel sad for her

Nobara absolutely bust out in laughter after hearing that comment about Alexi, and she couldn't stop, trying to choke down a piece of an apple she was currently chewing. "Well... some clowns can't help it if they look like that, little one." She said, grinning widely at her, and then smirking at Alexi, pushing her chair in. "Oh my God, that was great..." she said, still chuckling. With that, she nodded at Rachel and then at the little girl.
"Well... I can always help you, little one. I'm just lucky like that!" She said, stars in her eyes, curls bouncing. She could help this little girl! It would give her a chance to get away from Alexi... but she would also leave him with Rachel... not a good idea. "How about we grab a bite to eat first, and then look for your mom?"

Alexi had been stuck staring at the poor little girl, his eyes filled with pity. Her comment snapped him out of his trance and he couldn't help but laugh at it, but then he stopped and shivered. " Clowns... those are scary people, but i'll take that as a compliment " He finished his comment punctuated with a laugh. He turned his head to face Nobara " What happened did she get lost, she looks rather sad ? "

"Okay, then." Ayame smiled. The pretty lady was very nice, and it made Ayame feel safe. She grabbed the apple that she was reaching for and tok a big bite out of it. She chewed a little, then swallowed it. "Ah! By the way, I'm Ayame!" She said, realizing that she hadn't introduced herself.
Ayame happily took another bite out of the apple, figuring that mabey she should describe her mom. After swallowing another bite of apple, she said, "Um, my Mommy, She has... has black hair and....and green eyes... and she's um, um, sixteen." She think she got the age right.
