Issildia was soon separated from her former ally Azrielle, but she did not realize this as she soon fell into rhythm with the movment of her blades. The scimitar's lashing out, tearing apart her foes.
As the numerous Larovian warriors crowded in around her, to cut off any chance of escape. Issildia raised her left hand above her head, her scimitar raised high, as if in defiance of the hoard, "You shall all burn..." she hissed as there was suddenly a flare of silver light and flame at her raised hand.
Issildia then used her other scimitar to gain momentum for her move. She circled the blade in a quarter clockwise position parallel to the ground. And she turned, her feet moving in sync with the circular sweep of the blade. The glowing spark at her raised hand suddenly fanned outwards as Issildia whipped around, her raised hand lowering as she turned, the spark flaring out towards her enemies, in a combination of pale fire and shadow, the energy swept forth to consume those that surrounded her. Some of the larovian soldiers being consumed by the pale flames, and others beging choked by the tendrils of shadow that lashed out at them.
Finally Issildia's onslaught ended and she came to stand camly in the myst of the carnage that she had wrought, at least fifteen soldiers lay dead at her feet, their bodies either burned, or drained of their life force, their forms nothing more than dry husks. The Issildia that had walked upon the battle field at Anier had returned, and she would have her vengeance...

Kuchane saw the wave of people fall as Issildia owned them, his eyes filling with greed/ HE stepped forward, Boaz scaveging blood from the fallen corpses "Reinsen Nevars daughter. You are truly kill-worthy!" He twisted Boaz, blood dripping from the blade. "But I would much rather have your father!" His sword grew, the blade twisting at the end. "Face me after this war, and I will have your blood." He actually said this all to himself, and turned away from her, heading straight for her father. He slashed through the army to get to him, having no problem in doing so. His blade grew another six inches by the time he reached Reinsen "Reinsan Nevar!" He yelled over the roars.

As Kuchane shouted at Reinsen, the Lord of Larovia paid no heed to him. He simply made a small motion with his left hand and suddenly four of the warriors from theTel'Domeduathea assassins unit leapt out of the fray to stand before Kuchane, they were the most talented of larovia's warriors and would surely be worth Kuchane's time.

Kuchane held his left arm out to his side. A shadow spread from his palm upwards and downwards, until a thin shgadow roughly four feet in bothe directions, in a pole like shape appeared. Last, the blade of his scythe materialized on the end above his head. It shone with an unearthly pale, and the glare from it was intense. "Step aside warriors of the night." Kuchane said slowly, lowering his arm into a defensive pose. He slashed with boaz, missing, but ran forward, and slashed from down and left, upwards and to the right at the assassins in the middle.
Archer, seeing his brother, stopped, the ice making a spiky circle around him. He yelled, fire coming forth, and melting ring in the ice as he flew through the ring, and slashed with El, concerning himself with the soldiers again. El, soaked in so much blood began to change, his metal becoming blacker. He grew in size, but changed shape as well. The crystal moved farther up the blade, to the nemding point in the middle. He now hungered for blood.

Issildia stepped calmly out of the circle of bodies, her gaze dark and emotionless, as she came to notice the assassins that barred the way to her father. As the assassins were attacked by Archer's brother, the fourth assassin to the very left focused on Issildia , his cloaked form suddenly lurching forward at her, his scythe like weapon lowered to come flying upwards at Issildia, to tear her torso in half. Issildia side stepped the attack, in response the assassin reversed the direction of the blade to come at her from an angle. Again Issildia side stepped the attack, dropping to the ground to avoid the blade. Though she was nicked on the cheek by the weapon, leaving a shallow cut across the left of her face. As blood slowly trickled down her face Issildia brought the hilt of her left handed scimitar heavily down upon the base of her attacker's skull. The assassin collapsed to the ground knocked out cold. Normally Issilda would have simply left the warrior alone and moved on to her next opponent, but the Issildia standing over her enemy at that moment, did not care to much for things such as mercy. She brought her right handed scimitar across the throat of the assassin, staining the parched desert earth with his blood.

Kuchane had missed the assassins, and one had landed on him. He roared with anger, as fire blew from him in all directions, burning the assassin on top of him's legs. He got to his knees, and sent a wall of sand barrelling at the assassin he hadn't focused on. The second, proud of evading the attack, plunged his sword into Kuchane's back. He was quite surprised to see no blood, but Kuchane's surprise was that he had been hurt. He spun the scythe in his left hand, gashing the assassin's shoulder. He let go of the sword, and Kuchane stood, the katana stuck through him. "Time to die!" He yelled. annoyed at his wound. He rushed forward, slashing the assassin with burned legs, left arm, leaving it disabled. He had hate in his eyes, as blood from the assassin sent Boaz on a growth spurt. He know was thicker than El, his eye bigger than Kuchane's head, and was bent in a huge question mark.
Archer slipped on the glass formed from his brother's fire, but recovered quickly, and sent firebreath into a group of soldiers. He stood, clutching his chest, his breath shortening. "I-I wont last too long like this." He turned, runnning towards his brother. He grabbed the sword stuck through him, one in both hands now, and kept running. He stabbed the katana through a Larovians head, and withdrew it in a spiral slash that took out two more Soldiers on either side of him. He flapped his wings, small balls of sand shooting in every direction from his power, like a buckshot, killing more soldiers. El laughed in an ancient manner, his crystal becoming an actual eye. He saw the world differently now, and was growing with every kill.

As Archer pulled the blade from his brother's back and dove back into the battle Issildia glanced at him, the bloodlust leaving her for a moment as she was herself again. She felt the need to protect her comrades, for in Anier she had sorely failed in that aspect...she would not allow it to happen again.
But before Issildia could decide her next course of action a cold gloved hand suddenly grabbed her neck from behind, nearly choking the breath from her. "And this time your pitiful lover will not be here to save you..." breathed a chilling voice in Issildia's ear. As Reinsen spoke, Issildia felt as his frost covered sword came to rest against her throat, his grip tightening around her neck. Issildia's eyes seemed to cloud over, remembering an all to similar moment when her father had done the same thing to her in Anier, she remembered the cold bite of his sword against her neck, and how Demitri Zarian had given his own life to save her own...
Issildia closed her eyes as these images filled her mind, tears coming unbidden, to slowly stream down her face.
"Do not mourn daughter, I will send you to be with your precious Demitri soon enough." hissed Reinsen as he tightened his grip on the blade at her neck, preparing to tear it across her throat...

Archer saw Reinsen grab Issildia, and his pent up anger burst out. Electricity shot from his ashen blazing wings. Time slowed for him, as he walked toward Reinsen. He dismissed all else, and ran at Reinsen full speed, lowering his shoulder to knock Reinsen off his feet. He screamed at the top of his lungs "HOW DARE YOU!!!" and went hirtling at his lower body, his flaming wimgs wrapped his body, making him a missile to be reckoned with.
Kuchane twitched his ears as his brother yelled, distracting him slightly. All three remaining assassins took advantage of this, and dug into him. He was stabbed in the chest back and side, and he screamed with the pain. His wings flared, and he screamed, the assassins flying off of him, leaving their swords in him "I've been to hell, and fought more fearsome creatures than this! You all will die right now!" He used his shadows power to send out chains that turned to claws, and wrapped around their necks out of nowhere. He stared one down as he strangled him, the hate in his eyes sending the assassin into truw terror

Archer collided with Reinsen's own shoulder throwing the Larovian emperor back, as he fell back, his icy blade seemed to slide away from Issildia's throat, but in mid fall the blade caught her at the side of the neck, cutting a gash at an angle from Issildia's collarbone to just below her left ear. She cried out in pain as the wound began to bleed profusely as her father released her, as he fell backwards.
Issildia's hand instantly went to the wound to try and stop the bleeding, she tried to concentrate to heal the gash with her Anierian powers, but she could not focus, her years of training suddenly leaving her to contend with things on her own.
Reinsen Nevar caught himself before he hit the ground. He came to his feet in an amazing show of speed. Ebony lightening crackling in the air around his form as he centered in on Archer. "Foolish Child" he hissed as he brandished his sword with rage.

Archer, his wings outstretched, Sand coming into them, weighing him down dramatically. "You think I am foolish?" A sand clone appeared to his right, as he said it. Another appared behind him, and another to his left, making one on each side. Archers eyes were full of fury, as he yelled "You are the fool!" He backed away a step or two from Reinsen as he drew his bow, with an arrow inside already. He held it with one hand, and El in the other. The sand clones looked exatly like him, except they were soilid sand. He smiled, licking his I-teeth.
Kuchane breathed heavy, as the assassins lay in piles on the floor. He fell to his knees, and used Boaz for a cane. His scythe dissapeared, dissapointed at its lack of use. He breathed heavy, doubting if he could use his powers again for awhile. Those assassins were tough.

Reinsen's own shadow then seemed to take on a life of it's own and suddenly lurched away from it's solitary post at Reinsen's feet ,to wrap it's dark hands around archer's ankle. Before the azerian could even begin to counter this , Reinsen lunged forward his blade racing towards Archers neck, as to sever his head from his shoulders.
Issildia watched in horror as this transpired, she struggled to her feet, blood running in-between her fingers where she held her hand over the wound in her neck. "Your fight is not with him!" she pleaded, with Reinsen, for she knew all to well the feeling of when a comrade was in danger of being slain.

Archer grabbed Reinsen by the neck, as his sword dug into Archer's/ He grimaced, but simply squeezed Reinsen's with a fierce grip "You will die here Reinsen Nevar, advocate of Satan." Archer's voice twanged and was deeper than normal. Blood ran down the front of his throat and clothes, as he raised El to Reinsens elbow, and cut down quickly, hopefully cutting off his forearm.

Reinsen only smirked at this, "Did you really think that such a feeble attempt would be able to defeat me" Reinsen hissed, as his form suddenly faded into the darkness, leaving Archer with nothing but empty air, where Reinsen had been standing. Though before he escaped El managed to make a shallow cut in Reinsen's arm, the blade stained with the emperor's crimson blood.
Reinsen appeared behind Archer with his blade raised, as to slice him in half. But suddenly a voice that was all to familiar to Reinsen ruined his assumed glory. "No father, it is you that shall be defeated." said Issildia from behind Reinsen, her scimitar lashing out at him. Reinsen began to fade back into the shadows, but the blade sunk deep into his half visible shoulder, there was a terrible roar of anger ridden pain before Reinsen Nevar disappeared.
Issildia stood with her scimitar Sable hanging limp at her side, dark crimson blood soaking the blade. She then fell to her knees , the scimitar falling from her grip.
It was then that the sound of a war horn bellowed in the distance. All around the sounds of the Ryera soldiers shouting excitedly in victory was heard, the Larovian forces retreating back to their camp a mile or so back in the desert. The battle was not over for they would return soon enough, but it seemed as though their king had been shaken by his latest duel.

"You rest Issildia." Archer said in a gravelly tone. "I will continue." His voice was greatly affected by the cut, but his four clones followed him side by side, as he walked away from her. He looked back "Whatever your father wants will be taken from him." He said in a prophetic manner. He tuirned again., and walked away. His wings were heavy with sand, and they emptied out, they shone with a light that was dd for Azerian wings.
Kuchane roared with anger as he saw his brother walk away, apparently this woman was also important to him. He stood, and stalked toward Issildia, his sword raised. "I want your blood." He whispered, craven and desperate.

As Kuchane approached Issildia, shadows began to stir around her slowly taking almost humanlike forms. There were seven of these creatures total and they were the same shadow beings that had been sent by Luin Ryera to watch over Issildia and Archer on their journey to the Tower of Vestain.
One of the creatures moved forward slightly and spoke, it's voice dry and snakelike in tone. "Master Luin, has given us orders to keep the woman and the azerian alive...should you conflict with...our orders then...you will be dealt with Kuchane." The last part of the statement seemed to be the voice of Luin Ryera, as though the powerful necromancer was controlling the shadow wraiths from the tower.
Issildia looked up at Kuchane and glared at him coldly her right hand, unlike the left, which was not dealing with the wound at her neck was gripping the hilt of her scimitar Sable. For once in her life she was thankful of Luin Ryera's existence.
