"Sounds better than just sitting here!" Tanpopo smiled at Sasami and rose from her futon, walking over to Sasami. "What shall we do? I can't imagine there's much, but we should do something." Tanpopo smiled again.

::Flashing a fiendish smile at Popo~chan she then grabs her by the hand and runs.:: Lets go outside! : biggrin ragging Popo~chan behind her running through the maze known as the Okiya she reaches the outside where she hops into her sandals and lets go of Popo~chan's hand. Spinning around in the garden and then falling to the ground she giggles a bit and then speaks.:: Isn't it a lovely day?

Smiles and puts on her sandals as well. She runs over to Sasami and does the same as her (the spinning and all). Lies there and looks up at the sky. "It is beautiful today. You should have seen the view from my farm..It was beautiful, especially at night. The stars were so beautiful--like diamonds in the sky. I miss my home.." A single tear shed from her eyes, she wiped it away and said, "Do you miss your home?"

::without a movement not even a glance over at Popo~chan she began to speak.:: My home? Hmmm....I never really thought about it. I mean if I missed it or not. I don't think of my previous home. That is to say before the Okiya. Where I come from it is quite different. Quite different indeed. Not to say it was bad but well..just different. I did enjoy my previous home quite a bit actually. Just that well...it was time for me to move on. To make my mark on the world. ::Smiling for a moment she spoke again.:: Does that make sense? You spoke of your home, what was it like there?

Luna knowing she was alone slid the elaborit Sensu from under her bed where she'd hidden it. the desing was hand painted by her mother and a very prsiouse thing to her all she had left of her home and family. "I guess... I should get back to work." She looked over the bright red violet and silver colors of the sensu and placed it back under her bed with great care. Standing Luna looked out the window and sighed for she was hungrey but she wouldn't dare enter the kitchen unless she needed to fetch something for a geisha or Mother. Both her hands and her knees ere sore from earlier and she really didn't want to stand but Luna did anyway and covering the marks by clasping her hands she made her way from her room to the main hall.

Yokome returned to her room and slipped out of her yukata and into her kimono. She put on her socks and slipped into her zori. She fastened a simple obi knot. She applied her make-up, being careful as usual. Her hair was already done, so she just placed the kanazashi from an ivory box in her hair to add the final touch.

She nodded. "My home was small. I lived on a farm with my sisters, Aiko and Nami, and my mother and father, Taka and Suki. We grew mostly veggies and had some animals on the farm as well. There was a fire that destroyed my home. My older sister Aiko and me were the only ones to survive. Our farm and our home are gone. She came into the city with me to find work and a new life. She was able to get me into an Okiya, like I had always dreamed about. Aiko went off elsewhere. I don't know.." Popo cried a bit, but she wiped her tears away. "I loved being out in the open and being so free. Even if my family was poor and in debt, it never mattered much...I loved my ..home." She paused before asking, "Where are you from? The city or country?"

Yukiko returned from her lessons that day exhausted. She could barely slip out of her sandals as she entered the okiya. She plodded through the building, making sure to smile politely at anyone that she saw, and headed towards her room. When she entered, she plopped down onto her futon and fell fast asleep.

After an hour or so of napping, Yukiko awoke with a terrible ache in her stomach. "of course I need some food!" Still too weak though from exaustion and now hunger she called for a maid.
"Will someone please bring me a medium bowl of rice and some grilled fish...and...umm, tea...with two teacups?"
She hoped that one of the maids that brought this food to her would not be too busy to sit down with her and have some tea and tell her what had gone on in the okiya while she was out. In the words of her father, Yukiko hated to "miss a trick".

Luna heard the young womans voice and moved to the kitchen returning not long after with the bowl of rise and tea. Entering slowly she bowed her head and walking with very calm steady steps she approached setting down the tea and pouring some for Yukiko returning to her standing position after, "is.. that all ma'm...." her voice was so quiet it was difficult to hear with the rest of the sound from in hall. Luna had pulled her long hair back except for the bits that hung in her dark tan-brown eyes. at times er eys took on a redish shine to them reflectly no emotion at all but saddness. Folding her hands to hid them she waited to see if anything else was needed.

 Quietly, Mahou walked into her quarters and knelt down, taking out the box that she looked upon with such fondness. Opening it, she took out a simple comb and went to the mirror. Mahou pulled her hair back into a bun and placed a comb into her hair, fixing stray strands in places, and brushing back hair in others. She couldn't help but wonder what she would look like as a geisha if she was ever to become one. How greatly she admired those beautiful geisha.. She tucked the comb back into the box and put it back into its proper place. Hoping no one had seen her, she went back out to do dust furniture and scrub the floors. Post 14

::blinking once Sasami rolled from her back to her side placing one arm across Popo~chan as her body leaned on Popo~chan. With the gentle touch of a flower Sasami's fingers felt Popo~chan's soft yet damp cheek. Sasami then spoke.:: My home...oh it is far from here. In a place I can not describe. This place of my birth is not like any other. It was not in the country persay however not in the bussiest of cities. It was a magnificent place of light and hope. Sweet dreams and prosperity. ::Sasami picked up her hand from Popo~chan's face and waved it across the sky.:: Air and beauty. This place that was my home however, was well.. ::She placed her hand on Popo~chan's shoulder.:: shall we say...not the place for me to learn what I had wished to learn. ::Sasami then sat up looking at the sky.:: This is where I choose to be.
