Aragost smiled down at Miyu.
"She has left this land," he murmured, "and gone to a place where she can live her life in peace. I suppose I could visit her, but I am here now ... and here is where I belong now. I could not leave, not to go so far away. Not that far away ..."
The one thing he had hoped to avoid had come to pass: he had attached himself too closely to this place and to the people here, and he found it was far too difficult even to think about leaving.

Miyu smiled a bit at that, even though she kind of felt bad about it, she was glad Yami-san was here to stay. If he went away, she would be sad, at least that is what she thought.
"I'm... glad, that you'll stay here."

Aragost chuckled softly.
"Thank you, Miyu," he smiled at her from the depths of his cowl. "I would miss everyone here too much to leave ... but besides that ... I seriously doubt that young Adanedhel would let me leave ... even if I wished to."
He chuckled again. No, his young great great great great grandson would never let him leave.

"He likes you a lot right?" Miyu asked with a smile, "And... I heard... you teach him a lot. Like the way Elros does with Lin."
At least that was the impression she had gotten from the talking the two did. Lin was planning to join onto the adventures as well. The mention of a mountain was probably like bribing her uncle Yuki with sweets.

Aragost smiled so widely that one could almost call it a grin.
"Indeed," he said warmly. "He and I are ... well ... I am closer to him than I have been to anyone in many ... many thousands of years. It ... is a wonderful feeling ... really ... to have someone ... like that ..."
He grinned down at Miyu and patted her on the head. "And you make me feel much the same way," he told her happily.

Miyu giggled, unlike Lin she liked those kind of things, and she liked to being called cute. Though that was how Miyu understood the world, she was cute like her Mommy.

Aragost laughed heartily, startling some birds in a nearby tree and making them take flight.
"And how is Kaito doing?" he asked in a friendly tone. "It has been quite a long time since he has been here."

"Kaito found his brother Shiro!" Miyu told him, "And Shiro is a neko too, but he's a very different neko."
She liked Shiro actually, he was very nice and everything. Not that Kaito wasn't nice, but sometimes it was hard to play with Kaito.

"I see," Aragost smiled, an image appearing in his mind when Miyu mentioned the name 'Shiro'. "I am glad for him ... it is good for him to be with one of his own kind ... I can imagine that he must be quite happy to have found his brother again."

Miyu nodded, "And Shiro helps Kaito a lot, they're very different."
Kind of like her uncle and father, though for different reasons.

Aragost smiled. "And I imagine that Kaito has been learning more how to speak properly, hm?" he murmured. "Though I am not entirely sure that has anything to do with his brother ... he was learning quite quickly the last time he was here as well, before he ever found his brother back."
Which begged the question, was it simply a stage thing?

"Not just speaking though..." Miyu explained before pausing to think of what had changed, "It's... easier to explain to him why not to do things. Sometimes, it's hard, because he isn't being bad, he just doesn't understand."
Like to not bug Idhril or steal toys and chase people in mice suits.

"No one understands, by nature," Aragost replied in a murmur. "Everyone ... takes time to learn ... must learn to understand ... like everything else ... especially one with the instincts of another creature."
He smiled down at Miyu.
"After all, I am certain that what he does is only natural, not only for a child who is still learning, but especially for a cat."

Miyu smiled thoughtfully at that, "Yea... he's like a big kitten. Grandma is worried about when he starts flying, she said... if he hasn't already started trying yet."
She hadn't started trying, though it never occurred to her to, well that and her wings were smaller compared to her brothers.

Aragost thought about that for a minute. That would indeed be an interesting sight to see ... a neko flying around with those little white wings ...
And yet he somehow doubted that it would be possible. Not at least while the boy's wings were so small.
"What about young Shiro?" he asked Miyu curiously. "Has he attempted to fly at all?"
His wings after all were different ...
