Kyo stepped onto the platform were the Vaccine Sentinal Tower were it was built. The pale tower stretched to the sky, it looked as if it was craved of pearl. When light hit the tower brilliant pinks and blues could be seen. There was a strange aura in the air. It was like by just standing there you became a better person Kyo became excited, he was going to be the hero this time and help Marcus. "Let's go in" Kyo said as he made his way to the golden doors that lead into the tower and pushed them open.

With in a Gargoylemon with a blue jacket that covered the upper part of his body passed back and forth in front of a fairly large army of Gargoylemon. "Now since the removal and return of the Memory we have been assigned to protect the memory no matter what!" he hissed At that moment a siren went of. "Gah! Intruders! To your positions people MOVE MOVE MOVE!" He shouted as the Gargoylemon flew to the door.

xxxx Marcus reluctantly followed after Kyo, not really feeling like he was worthy to enter such a sacred temple. The light bouncing off the shining pillar hurt his eyes as if he were some vampire being grazed by the sun. He hesitated entering, but pulled the courage when Kyo entered and called out to him. Walking slowly he entered the shining hall, decorated with golden statues of angelic digimon and life-like statues that looked a little too real for comfort.

As Kyo stepped forward and into the light, Marcus's assumptions were proven as the statues came to life and began alerting the others of intruders. "Great, just great... now we have to deal with the locals." As if already programmed in his mind, Marcus drew his digivice and prepared to fight. He looked back to his two partners, hoping that were not still too tired to do anymore fighting.

The red Gaomon quickly ran to Marcus's side, ready for a fight if needed. He was a little tired from the fight with NEO, but still had enough in him to tango with measly guard digimon.

Kyo watched as the Gargoylemon rushed into the room like ants running to a glob of honey. "Why is this never easy?" Kyo asked himself aloud. Marcus had selected Destin. "Sookie!" Kyo cried without even taking out his digivice a vivid red code leaked from the device. The flamboyant petaled Kabuikmon formed itself from the code. "Wow I could never do that before" Kyo said smiling at his digimon. Sookie stood proud at the sight of the Gargoylemon.

Sookie said in a perfect 5 7 5 Haiku.
"Cherry Blossom Storm" Sookie yelled thrusting his hands toward the monsters. Vivid pink petals shot to the Gargoylemon turning quit a few into data.
"Yeah!" Kyo cheerd.

The Gargoylemon leader looked at his troops falling like flies "Attack pattern alpha!" he yelled. The Gargoylemon swirled in the air making 12 10 rowed "White Statue!" they all cried statues formed from there hands and launched at the tamers and there digimon.

xxxx "Kyo... if you're going to do this with me... it'll never be easy." Marcus chuckled at his own sad truth. It was as if Ydgrassil himself wanted for Marcus and his companions to suffer. "You ready Destino?" Snapping his fingers, a red aura of digi-soul consumed his hand, which he then forced into his digivice. "DIGI SOUL! FULL CHARGE!!"

A blast of light hit Destino in the back and digivolved him to his Ultimate form, MachGaogamon. Ejecting his rocket Turbines, the beast digimon, charged for the Gargolymon. Once seeing their formation, Destino stopped his charge and prepared to defend himself.

He instinctively began to punch at the statues that fired at him, each crumbling under the might of his metallic knuckles. "WINNING KNUCKLE!" A ball of energy charged in his fist and slammed into one of the statues, sending it flying into one of the Gargolymon.

Those that made it passed Destino were knocked and sliced by Hiro's Beast Sword. "BEAST KING SWORD!!" The Lion digimon stood in front of Marcus, prepared to defend his tamer and ally.

The Gargolymon dropped like flies. Only their precious leader was left. The blue jacketed Gargolymon looked around to see how many if any of his troops were left. "Damn it" he muttered to himself "Time to delete you!" he said as he raised his above his head. "BLACK STATUE!" the leader Gargolymon said his voice getting much deeper. From his bits of black stone rose from his hands they closeted together forming a onyx colored stone statue of Seraphimon. "Now DIE!" the holy white dragon hissed. "HAHAHAHAHA"

The Black Statue would normally scare Kyo but for sum reason he was calm. Maybe this was a perk of his death now Kyo was no longer afraid of death Kyo looked to Sookie "GAH! SOOKIE STOP THE ATTACK!" Kyo shouted. Maybe Kyo had changed or maybe he was just a really good actor....

Sookie giggled at the statue.
Kyo may fear you.
But I Stand Strong.

Sookie shook his head the petals broke from his head and pointed to the Gargolymon. "LIon's Dace!" He yelled as the petals lunched like shruiken. They danced on the wind forming a star shape. A bright pink energy was released from the petals and rushed forward. It quickly formed into a lions head "Good bye" Sookie giggled to himself. The lions opened his mouth and roared only to collide with the Gargolymon turning him into bits of data.

xxxx Marcus was prepared as the black statue was formed, but was then no longer worried as Kyo quickly took care of the problem. He smirked and through the plant tamer a thumbs up. "Nicely done." He said, walking forward from behind the shelter of his other digimon. He looked across the ground, now littered with chucks of black and white granite. "So I guess we go up. Still doesn't it seem a little quiet to you?" He tried to shake off the paranoia, but something was most definitely quite about the place. His mood lit up a bit as she spotted the corridor that would lead them to the top.

Moving into a sprint, Marcus and his digimon would only be stopped as the next opposition reared its holy head in the form of a Knightmon and Shakkoumon. "Great... more things standing in my way... MOVE!!!!!"

Shakkoumon: Both of the motionless digimon responded to the boy's cries of frustration. Eyes lit up like the sun and beamed down at the two trespassing tamers. "Why have you come here?"

MachGaogamon growled at the two digimon, which his gloved hands balled as fists of metal.

Leomon instinctively moved in front of Marcus and Kyo with his sword out in front of him. His glare matched the might of the two standing in their way.

Knightmon: "BEGONE CURSED ONES!!! Your filth is not allowed here!" The knight drew his sword and prepared to strike.

Kyo blushed and grinned at Marcus's complement. "I told you I got stronger since Driver City" Kyo said with almost a bragging tone in his voice. He and Marcus walked up the golden stairs that spiraled around the core of the tower. His legs ached from all of the walking he had been doing. The two tamers stepped onto the second floor. The marble floorse sparkled as if just polished. Kyo looked at the new digimon that guarded the second floor. "Really? More?" Kyo asked aloud. The floating Shakkoumon turned to the green thumb tamer while the Knightmon swung his sword. Hiro Slid if rount of Kyo to protect both him and his tamer.

Sookie looked at the lion protect his own tamer. "Show me up you shall not!" Sookie said stepping to the side of the Leomon. Looking to the Shakkoumon he shouted in his normal Haiku.
"Oh timid angel
Soon you shall be taken from earth
By my hands you shall!"
He said as he spun around "Loins Main!" he said as hairs from his head shoot at the Shakkoumon. Sookie smiled "Those hairs are as sharp as needles and should take care of him" he scoffed.

Shakkoumon: The digimon's sharpened hairs bounced off the digimon's metallic hide, leaving dents where they had made contact. In response the digimon's slit eyes began to glow red. "Aramitama" it called out in a robotic voice, firing a red beam from both eyes.

MachGaogamon quickly took to the sky to avoid the red beam and prepare a counter attack. He started to charge energy into his metallic fists, hopefully being able to bust a hole through the shakkoumon.

Again responding to his instincts, he quickly scooped up both of the boys and jumped out of the way, just barely escaping the beam that was sure to roast them alive.

Knightmon: "You shame yourself coming here little humans and corrupted digimon alike! DODGE THIS!!!" Taking his sword in both hands he slammed the blade on the floor, "GRAND SMASH!" sending a shock wave of marble flying at the team..

Kyo's body became stiff from fear of the lasers, He quickly closed his eyes as if that would protect him. A burst wind hit Kyo in the face, opening his eyes he was in the arms of Hiro. "Hiro!" Kyo said with joy his eyes sparkled with admiration. He dropped from the lions paws. "Thank you!" Kyo wrapped his arms around him in a hug.

Sookie looked to his tamer with a look of anger. Cling cling the sound of his hairs reflecting off of the Shakkoumon. This angered Sookie even more. "You shall soon be deleted!" he yelled at the guardian digimon. The Knightmon slammed his sword his sword. "Nice try" Sookie said as he turned to a blur and dodged the mighty sword. Sookie ran to the knight digimon a leaped into the air. "Sakura Storm!" he shouted pink cherry blossom petals floated around his body. A sweet fragrance filled the air. "Die!" Sookie shouted as the petals shot forward to take out the Knightmon.

Knightmon: "ACK!!!" The knightmon is hit by the Kabukimon's petal attack, causing him to drop to one knee, using his large sword to support his weight. "Why... why have you come here?!".

Shakkoumon: "... ANGER!" The Shakkoumon's head would spin a full 360 degrees and then look up at the Kabukimon above. "RISING...." The digimon would begin to charge for another attack at the armor digimon.

"OH NO YOU DON'T!!" Marcus would step forward and point at the behemoth of a digimon. "DESTINO, HIRO!!!"

Both of the digimon would nod and charge at the digimon, not worrying about the knight at the moment. "HOWLING BLASTER!" the Machgaogamon would roar, emitting a powerful blue shockwave that would hit the Shakkoumon.

"Here I go!" The leomon would say as he charged into the fray. Preparing for his attack, Leomon would bring his unarmed fist back and then thrust forward, sending an energy projection of a lion zooming through the air, locked on to Shakkoumon. "FIST OF THE BEAST KING!"

"UGH!!" the digimon would be interrupted by the two attacks and sent flying into the wall, leaving an imprint of himself forced into its shimmer, but now cracked surface. "Are you here on account of the cursed one?!"

"Cursed one?! Who the heck his that?!" Marcus would have a confused yet angered emotion smeared across his face. "We're here to find someone and your henchmen attacked us! Has nothing changed at all due to our efforts?!"

Sookie landed on the ground, his wooden sandals clacked on the marble tile of the second floor. He took his long petal like fingers and ran them through his long red hair. "Ah, nice to see my attacks are still as powerful as ever". He turned to give a smug smirk to Hiro the Leomon that was stealing his spotlight. "For such a Nobel digimon you quit week." Sookie laughed

The Green thumb tamer looked to his very rude digimon. "SHHH!" Kyo said placing his finger to his lips. He looked at the knightmon his stomach filled with butterflies. He took in a deep breath and walked over t the knight and crouched down. "Sorry, were looking for a human by the name of Chris Shadowheart have you heard of seen him?" Kyo asked Kyo felt bad he was deleting digimon without even thinking, that wasn't like him at all. Maybe being deleted really did change him. "He is the owner of the Virus Buster Memory" Kyo added hoping that would cushion the blow of the interrogation. He extended his hand to the knightmon "Here let me help you up." Kyo said as a smile crept across his face.

xxxx Marcus wasn't too sure about Kyo's actions, it seemed rather foolish to try and shake hands with an enemy that had just been trying to kill them. His attention would then be shifted back to Shakkoumon's question. "Who is this cursed one that you're looking for and obviously getting ready for?!" He would step forward towards the two digimon and Kyo.

"Don't know of a Chris, but I do know that we've been told that no one is allowed within this building." Due to his own pride, he rejected the handshake and rose to his feet. He looked over at his guard mate, Shakkoumon and then back at Kyo. "Your presence alone is enough to trigger suspicion!" The points his sword at the boy, Kyo. "Leave or suffer death!"

The mechanical angel pushed himself out of the hole that he had made and levitated over to Knightmon's side.

"We're trying to tell you that we didn't come for a fight!" Marcus would grab at his hair in annoyance "Do you all want to die that bad?!"

"For us, protecting the three great angels is a reward worth dieing for." The digimon's eyes begin to glow red.

"The cycle continues on." Machgaoagamon balled his fists, not wanting to fight anymore, but still willing to do so if needsed.

Kyo looked at the Knightmon and stuck out his hands in front of the Knightmon. "So you say we have two choices" he paused and raised the right up above the left like a scale "Option one: we can leave and live" Kyo raised his left hand and lowered his right "Option 2: or you'll kill use..." Kyo paused looked down. "But you're wrong we have a third option..." Kyo looked to the Knightmon "The third option is that I delete you" Kyo said throwing his hand out to the side to signal his kabukimon to strike.

Sookie became giddy with excitement. "Sooooooo dramatic" Sookie said as he rushed to the knightmon. He raised his hands into the air shouting "Sakura Storm!" Pink cherry blossom petals filled the air again swirling around the knightmon like a shark about to strike. Suddenly they stopped swirling and fell to the ground.

Kyo looked at the knightmon "This is your last chance to leave us alone." he said scratching the back of his head "I really don't want to delete you" Kyo said grinning

"You are but a fool seeking death!!!" The knightmon bellowed in laughter, not amused by Kabukimon's flower tricks. The digimon brought his sword up ready to strike the boy. "This is where your confidence comes to an end!"

The Shakkoumon also prepared, rising a red beam from his eyes at Kyo and Marcus. "Prepare to die..." He said in a mechanical tone.

As the two attacks were going for Kyo and Kabukimon, a blue bolt of energy rained down from the ceiling followed by several other bolts. The bolts stood in between the two opposing forces, creating a wall. "STOP THIS AT ONCE" a masculine voice called through the atmosphere. "There is no need to fight this fight any longer!"

"Master Seraphimon, are these not the humans you foresaw coming to destroy you?"

Marcus jumped back from the bolts, followed by his two digimon. They listened to the conversation going on. "Looks like we're getting somewhere." He said with a smirk to Kyo.
