((Ding, ding, ding!))
She blinked and sent out her ball of darkness towards the ball of light. They collided, her darkness doing its best to swallow up the light, Obsidian's eyes narrowed on the glowing point and the two elements finally melded making silver light, "Yikes." Obsidian shielded her eyes.

Lina created another ball of light, but this time bigger and more fully formed. She sent it towards Obsidian again and said, "The light it will create will be far more than this small show. I hope you are prepared to see the sky shine in the mist of darkness.."

"I'll bring shades." Obsidian replied dryly, matching Lina's actions. It became easier to keep her darkness from swallowing the light, she'd never worked alongside Light before, so it was quite different, no wonder Lina wanted to practice!

"They cannot blend to any extent," Lina said, controlling the light's urge to overtake the darkness, "It must be perfect." She then raised bother her hands and created two large balls of light. Her hands moved slightly, making the balls meld together, "Are you ready to control such powers we will have to use?" she asked before setting the Light free.

Quinn, by now, was feeling much better. His memory had come back to him a bit; he now remembered passing out with Kiran there. Quinn chuckled at this though, and wondered what exactly she thought of him now. She was definitely going to be a hard one to sway...she thought he was going to fall over at first, and then he goes and does it.
Boy...what a hole I've gotten myself into. He thought to himself.
Getting up out of bed and wandering out into the halls of the Lotus base, Quinn let his mind wander. There were many interesting things in the base, and a lot more interesting people. After a bit of movement and reflective thought, his mind caught on to the energies being wielded by Lina and Obsidian. He ventured in that direction, and when he did finally find the training room he was quite suprised to see the two at work. Not wanting to ruin their concentration, he kept quiet.

"Wait." she replied and summoned some shades. She put them on and struck a ridiculous pose, "Okay!" She declared and tugged Darkness to her, creating a ball as big as Lina's, "Like this?"

Lina smiled and said, "If we used the true power used in that spell, we would most likely die. That is why we are going to have to use as much power as we can." the ball of light grew larger as she closed her eyes, her hands oustreched in the air.

She nodded once, her expression around the shades serious as she extended her reach into the rest of the compound and then outside the compound, she kept an eye on Lina's ball so that her's didn't grow to fast and surpass the ball of light in size.

Lina suddenly opened her eyes and raised the ball, knowing that Obsidian would do the same, "Now!" she set the ball hurtling towards the darkness as fast as she could.

The impact sent a shockwave of energy throughout the base, making Lina waver slightly as her energy was drianed. She sighed adn watched the light and darkness disappeared, both separate and working together now, "I think that is enough for now..."

Obsidian sagged but she began leeching off the chaos of the city, it was a common element in a city so she didn't take too much, just enough so that she didn't feel like she was going to faint. She moved over to Lina, "Need a hand?" She asked.

Lina shook her head as she leaned against a nearby tree, "I am fine, I thank you for asking though." she slowly stood up after a few moments and began to walk when she felt well enough to do so, "Atleast we know what is instore for us now.."

Quinn finally felt alright jumping into the situation and ventured a comment, plus a question, "That's quite the power; light and dark combined are a formitable force. But why go to the lengths when it's so draining?"
He approached Lina and Obsidian, to him a completely new face.
