God Eater is alright. I'd rather wait for the English game to come out than continuing with this English patch. Honestly, they need to learn to grammar, but so long as the point gets across.
Natch, they didn't even translate the Tutorial Quests.WAIT God eater is that monster hunter ripoff right? It is? ಠ_à²
Yeah. I can get easily into it since it shares a lot of mechanics.
Other than that, it has a story to it. It's like, so far, being stuck with a Gunlance. You have more room for things as well, except ********, those monster hit HARD. D: It's a good balance between the healing. You'll need to use a lot of them. You use half your health to revive your teammates.
It's more fast paced as well. Instead of rolling dodge, you jump. Which isn't too bad. No real strategy though. I just choose things as I like them and go. The Mission Counter girl tells you what type is good against what you're facing anyways.
Controls were a bit hard to get used to, but I had to set the camera controls. If it's gonna be like Monster Hunter, might as well make it the same for my hands.
Edit: I like making my sword eat the things I kill. :3 If I do it before they're dead, I get a bullet that's one of their moves, if they are dead, it's how I carve.

I read that Phantasy Star Portable is a ripoff of Monster Hunter, but they are nothing alike. It's more like, well ******** I don't know. Why is it that if you have a couple missions that include dragons, it's automatically similar to Monster Hunter?
Except for God Eater. It's almost like a futuristic Gunlance Only MH run. Except the gunlance can change between a heavy bowgun and a greatsword.
oh oh, I wanna do a Dual Swords run for Monster Hunter Unite. o 3o Elder Dragons are gonna kick my a** though.
