Tien looked at her in amusement, "The Ten didn't treat us like servants Bell, they did that to the humans. We made ourselves their loyal subjects. They didn't stop us but they didn't demand it either..until some of them got used to it, like Dorien did."

Tien sighed and said, "Things can change in the many milleniums they slept Bell. And you as for killing...they have weaknesses just like us. You just have to find it and use it properly."

Lyra Tyr Dorien was already edgy and to have Magnolia thrashing around was destroying his nerves. What was she dreaming of? He stodd by her side did whatever he could to calm her down before she fell into a peaceful sleep once again, "Probably me trying to kill her.." he murmured, his self contempt building.
It was that horrible scene again, Dorien chocking someone, utter ruthlessness surrounded Dorien like some kind of aura, it scared her but she couldn't look away. As she kept on staring she became aware of that aura even more, it was an image of Dorien superimposed on himself, she frowned at the Dark Dorien and her Dorien, they seemed driven by the same thing, motivated to kill this one, the one who she wasn't sure of their identity but they obviously had Dorien's comtempt. The other man vanished, probably dead and then both Dorien's looked at her. The superimposed one grinned menacingly and advanced on her, seperating from her Dorien.
She stumbled backwards in order to get away and her vision was completely confiscated by him, she couldnt' look away, didn't notice anythign else but Death walking towards her his expression still held that gleeful grin as if imaginining exactly what he was going to do to her. She opened her mouth, but nothing came out, she tried turnign to run but she seemed locked in the motion of just backing away from him. Abruptly she was staring at the back of someone a very familiar someone.
Dorien.
She smiled, or at least if felt like it, nothing seemed to working as far as her astral plane bodily functions were concerned. She watched as Dorien drove the other Dorien back and went head to head with him, she found that still she could not look away but this was not because of horror but because of fascination. If she'd ever seen anything epic in her life, she would have marked this battle as epic because that was the only way she could describe it. Dorien subdued to other darker Dorien and she watched as it was absorbed back into his body but he seemed unaffected. After a moment her Dorien turned and looked at her.
Magnolia opened her eyes and blinked up at an unfamiliar cieling. She frowned and clumsily looked around, her wavering focus settled on Dorien. She would have said something right about now but she found that she had really no inclination to say anything, as if she'd forgotten that her mouth was not only used for eating but also for communicating. Strangely enough, she wasn't frightened or panicked by this fact. So instead of greeting him, she simply offered a warm but tired smile.

Tien asked with a shrug, "Everyone has there opinion and frankly, I never cared whether they were gone or not for my life has always been the same." he closed his eyes as he said, "If everyone would stop thinking of their power, you'd see they are just like us except that one thing about them. They aren't gods, but the nly thing we can describe them as."

Grey eyes looked back at her as she opened her eyes and Dorien's human form sighed in relief, a small smile upon his face, "You are alright.." he said quietly before reaching for her hand, holding it lightly. Clearly, this was a changed man. Or atleast for now.

She watched him for a moment then brough his hand up to her cheek and clsoed her eyes, shaking her head, her smile still in place. She wasn't able to tell him it was alright, she just hoped he understood.

Dorien watched her for a moment, the smile growing as he nodded. He didn't expect her to talk, not after what she had experienced, but it was good she could communicated in some way. And she forgave him. What more could he ask for?

She made to sit up and managed by grabbign onto Dorien then letting out a soft sigh she swung her legs over. She rubbed her belly. Her coming out to see what was wrong with Dorien had interrupted her meal and she was still hungry....ravenous was more like it and she wasn't completely sure why.

Dorien looked at her for a moment before he stopped her, "I'll get it. You still need to rest." he left the room and made to the kitchen in his usual quick manner and wamred up her food. He had a vague thought in his mind about being a servant, but he ignored it and walked back to the room carrying her food in a tray he saw earlier.

Her smile was grateful, she nodded once and backed up so her back was to the wall and settled the tray in front of her. As soon as she had everythign situated she attacked the food enthusiastically, managing not to make a mess, though.

Dorien watched her eat quietly, before his thoughts came back into Signet and the foreboding feeling he was constantly feeling now. He ha dto find out what was goign on...but he wouldn't leave Magnolia in any sense of the word.
