Okay, after filling an order for one of my Christmas limiteds, I have this to say to all you editors -
If you make and sell bases, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE clean up the edges of the hair! Do you have any idea how maddening it is to have to sort through a thousand semitransparent pixels that aren't transparent anymore so the hair will layer properly with the clothes? It's so much easier for the editor on the other end if we know where your work ends so ours can begin!

Do you have any idea how maddening it is to have to sort through a thousand semitransparent pixels that aren't transparent anymore so the hair will layer properly with the clothes? It's so much easier for the editor on the other end if we know where your work ends so ours can begin! I always lock the base and then choose the darkest color and fill in the edges with that. It alters the base slightly but it's the quickest way to get around that problem.

Lucca Ashtear Yes, you do just fine with yours, Kiddo. heart Oh, not for my bases! I meant for the ones with semi-transparent edges. Let me kinda show you what I mean... Awful ugly border around the hair cause there's no straight pixel edge. Lock the base, grab your pencil tool and a dark color from the hair, and start coloring over those white-ish pixels. Works great.
