I reckon I beat all of you in the amount of time since I last went back to China. I left China in 1992, went back there as a child in 1997 and since then I haven't been once back there at all. That's a decade in total since I went overseas, hell of a long time isn't it? xd I've kept holding back, giving excuses about not going back such as the need to concentrate on my studies or the need to earn a lot of money but both points have gone way past their usebye dates. Now that I'm in uni, how much I study doesn't really matter, since I don't need to try hard to pass anyway. And I've saved up more than enough money for a holiday overseas. Plus this time a friend of my mother has offered to play out the entirety of my trip.

@Niphy lol, elfy is a robot so no need to cut him open and sew him up. You can just use screwdrivers to open his body, reprogram him, then screw back on. biggrin

Hey, I didn't say I wasn't going back!!! sweatdrop Read my post on the previous page; I announced that I accepted a trip to China in June this year.
I'm not that a heartless b*****d, and niph cutting me open, placing a stone heart in me and then sewing me back up isn't going to do me any favours. stare
Xu: I only have 3 or 4 family members I'm familiar with at most still in China. And really, my maternal grandmother is the only one that misses me a lot, since she was here in Australia until 2005. As for the rest, they haven't seen me in over a decade, so they've probably don't even know what I look like now. Most of my extended family and other relatives are all here in Australia, and I see them quite regularly.

Eh...
It was really scary when I went back to China.
'Cos I went to my dad's side of the family.
And I haven't been there since I was like 3-ish.
And I was 14 when I went back.
But everyone knew me. Dx I felt really bad since I had no clue who they were.
&& I hate my dad's side of the family. 'Cos Tosh is high maintenance. XD And they live in the mountains.
So I feel even worse 'cos I'm probably never gonna visit them again.
Edit: Oh. And does anyone else think this new sig thing is really lame?

@elfy Does your family in China see your pictures? Maybe they see your pictures you mailed to them so they can remember you.
@toshi I don't like my dad side either. I mean all of them.

The last time I went to China, most of my cousins treated me like strangers. Probably because I've either 1) never seen them before 2) it's been WAY long since I last saw them.
All my uncles and aunts there were pretty nice for the most part though.

ah everyone has relatives in china.
all my relatives are in s'pore.
but my grandma's from china, and she misses life and eh relatives in china.
she wants to go back badly, even though she never says so, but it's seen everywhere.
but she's already 80++ and her health does not allow her too.
i weep for my grandma D:
