After finishing his meal, Ben takes his plate to the kitchen and takes his drink outside. He then sits at his favorite outside locale and reads his book.

Ben continues reading his book. He had a chance to light a smoke and was casually enjoying it while he read on. If he kept up at this rate he wouldn't have but a few more months before he finished the reading.

((So I am in York, NE...NOTHING TO DO HERE lol! Thankgod in the town over in Grand Island there is a water park. Over in Omaha there is a Zoo! Hooray!!! Anyway, I drove up through Oklahoma Dave. It was quite pretty! Oh and as for your rant about Austin drivers, apparently you are blind when it comes to Oklahoma drivers!!!! Right around Oklahoma City I almost got hit and smashed into the pavement!!! I was coming back onto the freeway where my lane merges with another lane...needless to say, even though I had the right of way, TWO cars almost side swiped me. It scared the s**t out of me! SO yeah and even all the way through OK, a whole lot of OK driver's were in a ******** load of a hurry and did not know how to use their turn signals. Yeah, about two of them got pulled over by the cops. So hmm maybe your little rant about Austin or Texas in general isn't as bad as you think it is. You shouldn't hold OK up in a such a high pedastool unles you are talking about the scenery or the people outside of their vehicles! LOL! Alright just thought I would give you s**t about all this!!! You know I don't mean anything mean by it lol! *Hugs* oh and hi H^2!!!! *Luffles on you my H^2!!!))

(( You are much more loved than I am, LNS hasn't responded to any of my RP's in over a week and a half!
As for Oklahoma drivers...so YOU are the one who was driving that red Alero with the Texas tags on I-44! Yeah, I cut you off because you didn't use your signal and you didn't realize that YIELD means you have to wait for others to pass! Learn to drive before you b***h! *LOL*
Seriously though, Oklahoma drivers are usually much more considerate than what you described. Now, if you passed through OK during rush hour I could see you possibly getting pushed off the roads. Well s**t, if you were passing through OKC you shoulda said something! I could have at least said hi to you! :p ))

((I'm not out to offend anyone or hurt anyone's feelings, just stating my opinion here since you've asked for thoughts. It seems to me like every time I check in on the RP someone is in the act or in the process of starting something naughty. I get the feeling this season is all about getting it on. I'll admit, I don't check in often, but the last four or five times, it's what I've seen. Frankly, it's turned me away from the RP this season.
Along with that, I'm also feeling sort of like an outcast. I read through the OOC posts, which there are an awful lot of them in the RP thread instead of the OOC thread, and the use of the three letter acronyms is throwing me off as well. I've figured out that you are referring to each other, but beyond that, I'm completely lost. I have no idea who LNS or H^1 is.

(( This season I tried to be more lax on the rules since I feared that it was turning all of our visitors away but it appears as though it has done more harm than good. There has been quite a bit of sex lately but that's mostly because I have been using Ash as Ben is pretty much focusing most of his attention on Synge. Ash is a sex fiend so he is going to be very sexual. However, prior to the onslaught of sex there was a lot of really good RP'ing going on.
As for the acronyms...that is something I started. LNS is Little Net Sister which is Syngey as I know her in real life and treat her like my little sister. Heather (Fire) wanted short names since both her and Syngey's IRL names are Heather so it kind of kept that way.
In all honesty, the RP has really taken a nosedive in the past few weeks. I certainly will take some of the blame for letting my characters carry on through sex but we also have just lost the flame of RP that was here for a while. Perhaps making this a guild caused the problem as we never really had this problem when there were streams of new people coming in. But since we are a guild (even a public one), attracting new people isn't working very well. With no one ever here, the only things that the characters really have to do is talk, fight, and get it on...sadly. Any more thoughts? ))

((It has been slow lately, but I think everyone has just been busy. I know I have. When I do get in here though, it seems like the only people I can RP with are Ben or have my own C's RP with each other. I've been finding it hard to develop my C's, other than Synge, because there is no one else for them to interact with steadily. I'd be sad if the season ended though, because I really would like to develop my C's. Of course, if there is no one here, I guess there isn't a point really.))
